JAMES, GO GET ACTING LESSON PLEASE.

When I tell you I had to PAUSE multiple times to process what I was watching—LIKE, HELLO??? Is this a BL series or an acting school dropout project?? Because BABES, I AM FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE TRYING TO FINISH THIS. But you know me, I’m a loyal hoe. So, I sat through all 12 + 1 special episodes, and now I have THOUGHTS. So, I hit play on episode one, and IMMEDIATELY, I knew something was wrong. Like, girl. WHAT IS UP WITH ELISE’S FACE? James (who plays Elise) is out here looking like the sun is in his eyes 24/7. No, seriously, bestie. James (who plays Elise) is trying SO HARD to give us “sharp, intimidating CEO” but ended up looking like he just walked out of the eye doctor’s office after getting his pupils dilated. THE CONSTANT FROWN. THE EMPTY STARE. BABE, ARE YOU GOOD??? I KNOW THE LIGHTS ARE BRIGHT, BUT DAMN.

_____________________________________

1. Plot

Bestie. I’m not even joking. NOTHING HAPPENS. Now listen. I love me some messy drama, but this plot? It was cooked with NO seasoning, NO oil, and left to burn in a microwave. Like, yes, things technically happen, but not in a way that makes SENSE. These two are just giving each other the most mild push-and-pull energy, but we don’t even know why. THERE IS NO BACKSTORY. THERE IS NO REAL CONFLICT. JUST VIBES. BAD VIBES. So we got Elise, a mean CEO and Patt, his good secretary, who been working for Elise for five years but never once questioned his life choices??? WHY IS HE EVEN STAYING? IS HE SECRETLY IN LOVE? IS IT JUST A PAYCHECK? GIVE ME SOMETHING, BITCH. BECAUSE RIGHT NOW, I’M LOST. From the very first episode, they’re giving push and pull energy, but instead of being spicy, it’s just confusing. Like, do they hate each other? Do they like each other? Did they accidentally sign a lifelong work contract and now they’re stuck? No one knows because the series refuses to give us a backstory.

AND THEN. THENNNNNNN.

THE RANDOM SEX SCENE IN EP 2. Bestie, I almost THREW my laptop across the room. BECAUSE GUESS WHAT? It was a DAYDREAM SEQUENCE. AND GUESS WHAT ELSE? They don’t even tell us WHOSE DAYDREAM IT WAS. Like, was it Elise? Patt? The audience? BECAUSE AT THIS POINT, I AM HALLUCINATING TOO.

And then, of course, we get all the 2013 BL TROPES:

- Jealous CEO but won’t admit he likes his secretary? (yawn) ✅
- Messy love triangle for DRAMA? (double yawn)✅
- Somebody faints and the other one takes care of him? (BFFR, IT’S 2025, FIND A NEW TROPE) ✅
- Possessive ex-lover trying to ruin everything? (SNOOZEFEST)✅

The drama is SO forced. Elise gets jealous whenever Patt talks to someone else, but instead of COMMUNICATING like an adult human being, he just stares in agony like he’s in a shampoo commercial. And THEN, the ultimate 2013 wattpad drama moment arrives: Elise sees Patt with his third-party love interest, gets mad, and goes "fine, I’ll fuck someone else then." Sir, that is a grown man, not a lost puppy. GET A GRIP.

BABE. NEXT!!!

2. Characters & Acting

Now, bestie. Bestie. I have been NICE so far. But I NEED to talk about James.

- Elise (James) – WHO CASTED THIS MAN??? WHO LOOKED AT JAMES AND SAID, “YES, HE’S OUR LEAD”?????? I swear he’s reading his lines off a teleprompter. His face does not move. He’s supposed to be this dominant, brooding, sexy CEO, but he looks like a freshman drama student trying way too hard. The few times he tries to smile or look smug, I just start laughing. And don’t even get me STARTED on the scene where he FAINTS. BRO. IT WAS GIVING Sims 4 low-energy animation. IT’S PAINFUL. Every scene, he looks like he’s either about to sneeze or like he’s holding in a fart. THE LACK OF EMOTION. THE AWKWARD LINE DELIVERY. THE WAY HE STANDS THERE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN CRUCIAL SCENES.

I kid you not, bestie—there is a scene where he walks in on his ex cheating, and HE JUST STANDS THERE. NO REACTION. NO ANGER. JUST… VIBING. LIKE, HELLO???? DO SOMETHING. THROW A GLASS. SCREAM. LEAVE. I’M BEGGING. There is hesitation in his moves and he seems being calculative in the next steps that he wants to take. Maybe because he is scared of getting hurt in the action scene by the stunt man or whatever but tbh, i am hating this guy even more LOL.

- Patt (Kad) – Ok, at least he’s trying. His acting is okay-ish, but there are moments where he looks like he’s internally screaming because Elise is giving him NOTHING to work with. Like, how do you act with someone who looks like they’re a walking mannequin?

- Run (Fam) – Babe. You need to control your EYES. The way he overacts with his facial expressions had me fighting for my life. Like, we get it, you’re the sneaky side character, but why are you looking so guilty before you even do anything?

Fei Long (Nick) – The only one who understood the assignment. He ate up every scene and left no crumbs. The villains in this series have better acting than the leads. That should tell you everything.

3. Steam/Sex Scenes

…sigh.

GURL, I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS.

So, first sex scene? Awkward as FUCK. I EXPECTED DESPERATION. NEED. RAW, ANIMALISTIC LONGING. But instead? I got two dudes who looked like they were doing community service for each other. IT GAVE NOTHING. AND THEN. THIS MAN—ELISE HAD THE AUDACITY. TO TREAT PATT LIKE A STRANGER RIGHT AFTER BECAUSE HE HAD A DREAM ABOUT HIS EX.

EXCUSE ME?????

SIR. YOU JUST PUT YOUR DICK IN THIS MAN, AND NOW YOU’RE ACTING LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW HIM?????? CALL THE POLICE.

_____________________________________

4. OST

It’s… fine?

Nothing special. Nothing memorable. Like, if you played it for me right now, I wouldn’t even recognize it.

NEXT.

5. Overall

I am gonna be so honest. This series felt like a job. I was CLOCKING IN every episode, just PRAYING something interesting would happen. The pacing? SLOW. The character development? NON-EXISTENT. The acting? DEAR GOD.

BUT.

Would I finish it? Yes. Because at this point, I have invested too much time, and I NEED TO SEE IF IT GETS WORSE.

Would I rewatch it? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Final score? 5/10.

And that’s me being GENEROUS.

The Series That Gaslit Me Into Thinking It Was a Masterpiece

Okay. FIRST OF ALL. I have been waiting for this series since MYDL dropped the page on this damn website, and Miss Gurl… LET ME TELL YOU. I did not—DID NOT—expect that Tor was gonna be the lead. I was clutching my pearls like, “AIN’T HE ALWAYS IN STRAIGHT SERIES??” But no, apparently, 2024 is the year of plot twists, because here he is, serving daddy realness. And honestly? I ain’t even mad. The moment I saw him in that doctor’s coat? I knew I was about to simp.

Now, before I start throwing hands with the plot, let’s get into it.

__________________________

Plot – Murder? Love? Same Thing, I Guess.

So, boom. We got Dr. Kan out here acting sus as hell, lowkey playing God by “mercy killing” terminally ill patients. In comes Tew, the detective, who clocks this and goes, “Hold up, my guy, why is my mom die prematurely??” So he starts investigating, following Kan around, doing his lil’ detective things, and next thing you know—BAM—they catching feelings instead of criminals. Like, sir, wasn’t your job to put this man in jail? Why are we playing Enemies to Lovers instead of Law & Order?

Anyway, they get into this push-and-pull dynamic—Kan flirts, Tew denies, Kan pushes harder, and before we know it, THEY LIVE TOGETHER. EXCUSE ME??? I literally blinked, and suddenly, they had a shared Netflix account. Like, what happened to slow burns? A lil’ more tension? A lil’ more Kan being toxic and Tew pretending he hates it but actually loves it?

AND THEN—SPOILER ALERT—they went and blamed everything on Boss, the pharmacist, who, mind you, is paralyzed. Y’all really said “He can’t walk, but he can still catch these accusations.” What in the ableist fanfic is going on??? Like, y’all let Kan be out here committing crimes in the name of love, but the moment Boss tries to be like his idol, suddenly it’s “No babe, that’s illegal.” Oh, okay.

Also, I gotta say it: WHY did we wait until EPISODE 8 for a kiss + sex scene??? BRUH. Where was the tension? The teasing? Kan pinning Tew against a wall and whispering, “You’re obsessed with me.” Like??? The wasted potential.

Now, I don’t have any real issues with the plot, BUT! HOWEVER! IN ANOTHER WORDS! I wish they added more action between them. Like, imagine a scene where Tew tries to fight Kan, and Kan gets a scratch or something, and THAT leads to everything unraveling. It would’ve made the tension 10x better???

__________________________

Characters + Acting – Gaslight, Manipulate, Lovebomb, Repeat.

FIRST OF ALL. No one was flopping in this series. Everyone showed up to WORK, and I respect that.

Tor as Dr. Kan? Soft-spoken, gentle-looking, but a full-blown manipulative bitch. I mean, sir really said “Let me gaslight this man into thinking his guilt is making him doubt Boss’ involvement.” LIKE??? HELLO??? My guy didn’t just study medicine—he majored in psychological warfare. And honestly? I kinda wanted him to win. The way he was so head over heels for Tew? I was like, “Baby, I support women's rights, but more importantly, I support women’s wrongs.”

Now, Tew—played by JJ—was out here looking like Jimmy 2.0, and I was not prepared. But let’s be real—Tew? Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Like, sir, why are you hot?? And why are you letting Kan play mind games with you like that??? I expected him to be sharp, sarcastic, and one step ahead of Kan, but noooo, he’s just a lovesick idiot with a badge. Love is blind? No, love is stupid, and Tew is the poster boy. BE FR.

Also, special shoutout to Aelm as Boss. His acting? Immaculate. That scene where he realized Kan didn’t love him? Screaming, crying, throwing up. The man was out here begging for love while I was sitting at home like, “Damn, same.” But fr, I wish he was even MORE unhinged. Give me more tears, more sweaty desperation. I wanted him to go full Joker origin story.

__________________________

Chemistry – Straight Bros Who Kissed (But With Passion).

So, like, they had chemistry… but it was giving limited edition. You feel it for ten seconds, and then poof—it’s gone. I don’t know what happened, but at some point, I was like, “Are y’all into each other, or is this just elaborate queerbaiting??” The sex scene? More like “I’ll do your laundry and maybe we’ll make out” scene. The first almost-kiss had me SCREAMING because the tension was SO GOOD. But then when Kan actually kissed Tew??? OH MY GOD, BESTIE. I ascended. I left my body. I saw my ancestors. And Tor? LOOKING ALL SOFT AND ADORABLE? BITCH. I WAS SHAKING. It was giving BrightWin but with actual effort.

__________________________

OST – We Ain’t Got One.

Next question.

__________________________

Overall – Tew, You Stupid Bitch, Just Let Him LOVE YOU.

Listen, I did not expect Kan to go full “For you? Anything.” That line alone almost made me cry. CAUSE WHO SAYS THAT??? WHO??? TEW, YOU DUMBASS, THAT’S ROMANCE. THAT’S OBSESSION. THAT’S A MAN WHO WOULD BURN THE WORLD FOR YOU. LET HIM LOVE YOU, YOU STUPID BITCH.

Plot-wise? Weak. Execution? Could’ve been stronger. But overall, I wasn’t mad. I just wish they leaned into the crime/thriller aspect a bit more. Give me more chase scenes. Give me more Kan being a manipulative king. Give me more sexual tension where Tew is trying to resist, but Kan is out here being a menace.

Final score? 7/10. Would I rewatch? Absolutely not. But do I need JJ and Tor in another BL together? IMMEDIATELY.

I SHOULD HAVE TRUST TIKTOK

I been having a lot of review videos on TT saying that this series really traumatised a lot of people from the sex scene actually. Let me tell you, first episode and my Jaw dropped like “um excuse me? Is this allowed?”. Usually I never read the synopsis of a series or stalk the actor nor the director to make sure I have no bias on a series. MISS GURL LEMME TELL YOU WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT CHEEWIN IS THE DIRECTOR RIGHT AFTER I FINISH THIS SERIES, I GOT SO DISAPPOINTED 😭.

Cheewin directed A LOT OF MY FAVOURITE SERIES ( bed friend, SCOY, middlemans love and etc ) and watching this series like its coming from a low budget company really caught me like “AINT NO WAY THIS IS CHEEWIN’S WORK”. I am speechless and I never would have thought that Cheewin would produce this series.

Please BE WARNED THO, 1 - 4 episode you will get shook at the sex scenes but after that, you will get used to it LOL THATS LITERALLY ME. This series is 90% sex scenes and 10% of non existence conflict. Yes, the main conflict is to find out who killed Naht but the plot keeps on getting prolonged that I ended up skipping a lot starting episode 8. To be honest i think they can shorten the series to be 8 - 10 Episodes but because of unnecessary sex scenes, it becomes 14 episodes.

MY MIDDLEMANS LOVE IS 8 EPISODES AND THIS SERIES GOT 14 EPISODES? Cheewin, we gotta have a talk.

Some of the actor’s acting is a little bit stiff but not that bad though and also, CAN WE STOP THE ENGLISH SCRIPT UNLESS IF WE HAVE A NATIVE SPEAKER IN THE SERIES????? I couldn’t help but to keep on thinking they are trying to look like KinnPorsche series ( shoutout to my Zaddy Vegas ). I am sorry but the english is almost borderline of Cringe 🤮.

Anyway, not a good series but not a bad one either. I wouldn’t rewatch this series tbh.

Not a good watch

I have such high expectations for this series. I really do. I even subscribe the official production channel to watch the uncut version. The plot could be a little bit messy and I would say slight borderline to be cringe. I thought this series would be the series of showing how goofy the high schoolers would be with twist of romance of puppylike love but gurl, plain boring. Its like a mix of lust and romance which always keep me asking , “Yes, and?”. The main pairing here is really Matteo x Shogun. They have a main conflict but it is not really big of a deal. Though, acting is quite stiff and not professional.

King x Burger have nice plot with a mix of understanding but really, i feel like its a boring series with so suddenly of murder mystery at the end that get me like ????? Um what? So suddenly? I dont think the whole production have exact plot they wish to focus on which makes me questioning on how they can get sponsors for this series? Plain boring with half decent actors.

Truly disappointed.

NOT ENTIRELY DISAPPOINTING!

If you want to watch this series, please be prepare to be traumatised and your image of your favourite ship will be ruin. This series portrays real life situation in entertainment industry especially when the actors are in BL series that involves shipped couple. At first, I find it difficult to watch this series maybe because I have this mind set that all shipped couple is real but this series really shows me that the shipped couple is just doing fanservice and not real.

Overall, the first and second story is damn good and boy, what can I say about Billy Seng couple? They are DAMN GOOD. Boy, their acting skills definitely overpower the other couple. Sad that they broken up though. The 3rd story is the most BORING STORY EVER!!! Like… what the shit is this?

Fourth story is WAYYY TOO REALISTIC so I have already got the idea that this story happened in real life, real actor but I am not sure who. At the end, they did ask the audience a question; “Would you believe it if we say War Of Y series is based on real story?” And I immediately say YES. Because I can see it. CLEARLY. This series is an eye opener so if you are not ready to have a change of pov for your favourite shipped couple, please don’t watch it.

Sex scenes are damn mad broo ❤️❤️❤️❤️

CRINGE BUT ADORABLE

Actually, I was about to drop this series as I feel Seng's acting is a little bit cringe but when I read other's review, they said to give this series a chance and don't judge by the 1st episode. So I proceed to watch and thank god, I did not drop cause this series has it all. Comedy, chaotic, romance and fluff. It is absolutely beautiful. Let's talk about each pairing.

1. Nuea x Toh
Mr Popular X Stalker. The theme of the pairing is slight disturbing but adorable. A great way how Seng portrays Toh's character to be this nerd adorable stalker but I feel like the storyline is a little bit too much at the end. Yes, we know they are the main pairing but sometimes, some of the scene is not necessary but to offer more screen time of this pairing, they adds the unnecessary scene. But the main plot is great! It didn't run from the storyline and it doesn't feel rush as well. The acting on the other hand is on the borderline of cringe. Toh's character is great but sometimes, I don't think it's important for him to smile at every fucking reason which sometimes annoys me. Billy's acting is flawless and can I just say he looks like Daniel Wannaone. Lol. I don't have much problem with this pairing's acting except that Toh keep on smiling like a nutcase.

2. Sky x Jao
Oh good god. I understand that the bottom is suppose to be the cute one but boy, i am so fucking pissed with Jao. His ego is up high and he keep on overthink about everything! It took them almost half of the series to even be together and when they got together, I feel like Sky is the one who really likes Jao. It feels like Jao is not sincerely in love with Sky but anyway, I don't like Surprise. He is trying hard to look cute and ugh honestly, cringe. Their storyline seems short and doesn't really expand beautifully. They are literally my least favorite pairing. Sorry.

3. Touch x Daisy
GURLLLLLLLLL. I AM IN LOVE. IT IS SUCH A WASTE! That their love line get short screen time and the fact that Touch just started to make a move on Daisy at the end of the series makes me feel like they need to have their own series. I like how Daisy is so loud and so chaotic when he is around his friends but when Touch makes a move on him, he just went quiet and unsure what to say. SO ADORABLE!!! And okay, I did some stalking on Nutt and can I just say I am amazed at how he manage to play Daisy's role so well even though he is leaning towards manly man off camera. OH MY GOD!!! The duality! It's a shame how Nutt and Opp doesn't have much screen time in this series cause I really want to watch them.

4. Thor x Som & Fon x Kongkwan
The series did them dirty. They are so adorable but their screen time sucks! Fon x Kongkwan only shows up if there are gathering or party and they kiss on the cheek but that's it. Right now, we just need to wait for 'GAP' series to come out so it could do them justice. Anyway, Som x Thor. A great couple but I really wish they could lead more than that! Thor is a great man that act like ice and Som is hot-headed and loud girl, so imagine if they both could have slight love line plot! They didn't even have any confession scene and suddenly, they got together. UGHHH. On other note, I really love Som's character cause she been doing the most. She is the glue that sticks the group together even when Daisy wants to change into Day, she is stern but still supports him which I found to be adorable.

Overall, I love this series but I don't think I will be watching them since the Toh's character is too cringe. Anyway, I still give 9/10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ since the series is pretty good. Could have been more but meh.

P/S: Please watch the uncut version on youtube. You will not regret it. THE STEAMY SCENE THOUGH ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

✨? AMAZING MOVIE ✨?

Okay. First of all, i don't really usually watch hetero movies but DAMMNNNN!!! This movie is beautiful. Its so cute and What can i say about this movie. It's beautiful! 😌💕✨ The plot is beautiful however, if you watch this movie, you will have second-lead syndrome. It saddens me that she suddenly fell for a guy that just came to the village instead of the guy that have been in love with her all along.

*SPOILER WARNING AHEAD* Jerd really did his best to protect Sai but she really couldn't see it? Like the hell? And because of her, Jerd have to become Krahang and still protect her anyway! Noi is gorgeous, i admit it. But damn. Why must Jerd have to sacrifice a lot of shit? He is the first one to know that Sai is a Krasue and he even join the night hunter to misdirect them from Sai. Damn it.

Rating: 9/10. Lost one point because Sai kinda look blank? She wants to use that innocent face but i couldn't see the emotion behind it. She should have show her crying and sad face while parting from Noi but all she is doing is stoic face. Something missing and definitely her face that look empty. I think the one that plays Krasue before her have better acting but overall, i love the movie but the ending saddened me. THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST BURY ONE OF THE KRASUE PLANT BEFORE EAT IT STOOOPIDDDD! Anyway, control your emotion and try not to cry!

Let me start first with this series. First, I want to highlight that P'Strong looks like Chen from EXO. LOL but seriously, the plot is okay. It started with the uke and seme met with each other, have some conflict and i feel like the character P'Pop needs to have more confidence and development. He need to be more confident in the relationship and his sexuality ( LOL ). I love P'Oat so much because he doesn't care if he is bisexual or straight. He just know that he likes P'Pop and that's so fucking cute i tell you that.

The side pairing ( Pree & Rambo ) seems to be lacking of showtime in the series because i want to know more about them and how they got back together or something but seems like not going to happen. Plus they are very R-18 couple so that's why maybe i love them ( LMAO ). Overall, the series is okay but i think can improve in heart-throbbing scene.

Meh. Bland.

Alright, buckle up, because I’m about to spill the tea on this series, and some of y’all might not like what I have to say. But hey, it is what it is. I didn’t love it. I didn’t hate it. It just... existed. Let’s get into it.

First off, I STILL can’t move on from BibleBuild. Like, I’m sorry, I’m just not over VegasPete, okay? I was already out here starving for closure after *KinnPorsche*, and then BOC decided to snatch Build away with that whole legal mess? The audacity. I thought this series might fill that gaping hole in my soul, but NOPE. Not even close. Anyway, I’m *trying* to let that go, but clearly, I’m still salty.

Now, the concept of this show is cute or whatever—Great can see 4 minutes into the future before something bad happens. Cool, right? Except they don’t even bother explaining why. Like, okay, sure, it’s because he “faced death” or whatever, but give me more! Why 4 minutes? Why not 3? Why not 5? Do y’all know that in Chinese culture, the number 4 symbolizes death? They could’ve worked *that* into the plot, but nah, let’s just throw in a random supernatural ability and call it a day.

Jes, though? Love that man. He can act, no doubt. But you know who stole the show? The side pairing. Korn x Tonkla x Win were out here serving all the drama, all the spice, and all the *mess*. When I say their scenes were giving, I mean it. Korn and Tonkla’s first *big* moment? I was on the edge of my seat like, “DID THIS JUST OUTDO THE MAIN PAIR?” Yes, it did. It’s giving *SomTam*—spicy, bold, and unforgettable—while Tyme and Great are out here being bland *boiled rice*.

And don’t even get me started on the love triangle. The drama had me yelling, “OOP, WHAT NOW?!” every five seconds. Meanwhile, the main couple was out here serving... nothing. I mean, yawn central. Y’all really had *this* concept and *these* actors, and that’s all you gave us?

Oh, and JJay’s scene. You know the one. YEAH, THAT ONE. I was NOT prepared seeing his d*ck, and now I’m just sitting here, wondering how my life will ever go back to normal. Thanks for the trauma, I guess? Or maybe not trauma. WINKWONK.

The ending for Korn x Tonkla x Win? Chaotic. Trashy. Perfect. I lived for it. But the main pairing’s ending? Zzz. I needed more. I needed theories, twists, SOMETHING to make it worth my time. Instead, we got... vibes.

Overall, the actors carried this series on their backs, but the plot? Sis, it dropped the ball. If you’re here for "Triage" series vibes but with added spice, maybe give it a go. Me? I’ll pass on a rewatch. Unless it’s for the side couple or, let’s be real, the steamy scenes. Those? Worth it. The rest? Bye.

Multi-universe gem

I have to admit that before this I have hated OhmXFluke because I feel like they did not give their all in UWMA. BUT!!! MISS GURL- This series changed everything!!!! Like FLUKE IS SO CUTE FOR WHATTTT????? I am crying rn. Okay let's talk about the character first. The character is perfect. I dont have any single issues with the character. I like how the story portrays that they are literally soulmate so whichever universe they are in, they will end up together at the end of the day. I LIKE THE QUOTES SO MUCH I MIGHT AS WELL PRINT IT OUT ON MY FOREHEAD. Anyway, though, I am a little bit annoyed of Mint's character in Dew's multi universe like.. miss gurl can u chill out for a sec? You asked Dew to become your boyfriend (more like force tbh ) so are you really shocked when he likes someone else? Anyway, love the casts from main role to the supporting role. Everything just unfold beautifully.

The plot now, I feel like the plot is mysterious and somehow have a hidden secret in it. I do believe in multi universe and this drama is the perfect example of it and if anyone asked me what is multi universe, i would prolly ask them to watch this series to understand them perfectly. Just that the last episode got me a little bit confused, I would have guess that it is a alternate ending where they did not try to get together and Dew broke up with Mint before their wedding and all of them are in pain so I will just ignore that one for my mental health. THANK YEW <3

Anyway, LOVE THIS SERIES! I feel like it is so heartfelt and vanilla like but not too vanilla cause of the sex scenes. OH YEAAAAAA. anyway, LOVE IT!

WRONG MAIN COUPLE.

UWMA is very interesting drama however i do think that they did a big mistake in choosing the casting. I feel like they should have put Earth X Kao as the present main pairing because i feel their chemistry is more strong and i could easily read their emotion. They are showing a small act of emotion but gives off a very strong impact. I keep on skipping the part where Fluke x Ohm appears because i found Ohm to be robot-like and there's no emotion in his acting. Whenever he cry, i feel like he is faking it. Everyone is faking it but your job is to make the audience to believe it. Anyway, EARTH IS SO CUTEEEE!!!! HNYAAAAAS I FELL FOR HIM ISTG!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕 UGHHH HE IS SO CUTE AND HE LOOKS SO TINY COMPARED TO KAO. The plot somehow doesn't have the climax and the acting is very cringe? There's no real problem between them but i have to say that i almost cry at the part In and Korn committed suicide because of their parents pressuring them. Its the truth what happened to gay people during old time.

Anyway, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE OTHER CAST. I AM LOVING ALL THE SIDE PAIRING HERE. FUCKKKKK Except Alex and Del? Like they never show love line but suddenly they are together???? I was like hello? Never heard of 2 Wish? OKAY JOKING AHHAAH Its so good to see LBC cast in the series but it's a little bit off. It's something missing. I know it's totally a different plot but you can't blame me when they use the whole LBC cast except for Saint. CAN I ALSO SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE IT WHEN SAMANTHA FINALLY HAVE HER OWN LOVE LINE?! Ugh she is so cutee! And she is the one that makes me laugh all the time in the series. She is so real istg! 💕

Overall, i don't think I'll be re-watching this again. Its not my cup of tea. I found the reincarnated main pairing is very cringe and there's no emotion in it, but i love the past main pairing, boring plot, and i don't really hate it but i don't like it either. If you plan to watch it, go watch it. Maybe you'll like it or maybe you don't.

WHAT STINKS AND WHAT NOT?

First things first: WHAT THE F*CK DID I JUST WATCH.

This is only my second GL series after GAP (which was about as spicy as a f*cking glass of milk, let’s be honest), so my expectations were lower than my will to live on a Monday morning. And yet, somehow, this show still managed to play in my face. The first five minutes? I WAS CONFUSED AS HELL. WHO are all these women?? WHY do they all have the same ponytail?? WHY do they all look like they just found out their salary got cut in half??? It’s giving Angry Lesbian Detective Agency and I was NOT prepared.

Then, after squinting at my screen like a blind grandmother for what felt like an eternity, I finally figured out that Tul (inspector) and Ran (forensic doctor) were the leads. Cool, got it. But then I noticed something… WHERE THE F*CK IS THE CHEMISTRY.

_____________________

1. Plot & Chemistry

Alright, so we got Tul and Ran teaming up to solve murder cases, including the Raindrop Killer who murked Ran’s mom 18 years ago. Classic revenge setup, fine. BUT THESE BTCHES HAVE THE EMOTIONAL RANGE OF A FCKING TOASTER.

LIKE. HELLO??? I am BEGGING for a little sexual tension. A lingering stare. A bite of the lip. A fcking anything. But no. It’s dry. It’s so dry my skin started flaking just watching it. The ONLY thing that had me clutching my chest like a 19th-century widow? THE HAND-HOLDING SCENE. BTCH, THAT SH*T HIT ME LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN. I actually felt something. My soul left my body for a second. But then? BACK TO DRYNESS.

And don’t even get me started on the action scenes. Tul, babe, WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING. YOU ARE A FCKING COP, THROW A DECENT PUNCH. The way she fights like she learned self-defense from a fcking YouTube tutorial??? Disgraceful. You are letting criminals do parkour around your slow ass while you just STAND THERE looking confused?? GET A GRIP, B*TCH.

Also, can we PLEASE talk about the wardrobe situation. WHY DO ALL THE TOPS LOOK LIKE THEY SHOPPED AT THE SAME F*CKING WORKWEAR CLEARANCE SALE. Baggy pants. Oversized button-up. Tank top. RINSE AND REPEAT. The costume department really said, “Lesbians don’t have rights.”

ANYWAY. Let’s get into the bullsh*t decision-making because OH MY GOD.

EXHIBIT A: Tul walks into a crime scene, sees blood, and immediately rushes to Ran. Sis. YOUR BROTHER IS MISSING. Maybe CHECK ON HIM TOO?? But no, let’s just ignore that for five business days.

EXHIBIT B: The FINAL CONFRONTATION. Tul has a gun. Tin is standing there, CLEARLY ABOUT TO MURDER HER DAD. And what does Tul do? STANDS THERE SCREAMING INSTEAD OF SHOOTING. I almost threw my fcking laptop. The way she just… froze??? BABE. WHAT THE FCK. SHOOT THE BTCH, MOVE ON, ROLL CREDITS.

2. Characters & Acting

Tul (Engfa) – First of all, this woman is gorgeous. I’ll give her that. But why does she act like she’s holding in a massive sh*t in every scene??? Like girl. RELAX. Also, WHY is she so fcking stiff?? She’s supposed to be a badass cop but moves like a fcking NPC with one animation loop. DO BETTER.

Ran (Charlotte) – I actually kinda like her. She’s got that I’m a hot doctor and I KNOW IT energy, and I respect that. BUT, BABE. WHERE IS THE SPICE. WHERE IS THE FLIRTY BANTER. WHERE IS THE “I HATE YOU BUT I LOWKEY WANNA KISS YOU” ENERGY. Right now, it’s giving corporate coworkers who just tolerate each other.

Jew (Meena) – NOW THIS B*TCH RIGHT HERE. PERFECTION. She’s fun, she’s charming, she actually has a f*cking personality. She’s everything I WISH Tul was.

May (Lin) – THE MVP. THIS GIRL CARRIED THE ENTIRE SHOW. The comedic relief we desperately fcking needed. The way she ships Tul and Ran harder than the actual writers?? BTCH, SAME. An ICON. A LEGEND.

Now. I need to be honest about something. The acting overall? Mid. Sorry not sorry. If we compare this to, let’s say, Max & Inntouch? BABY. THE GAP IS GAP-ING. Max & Inntouch give you tension, give you emotions, give you ACTING. Tul and Ran? It’s like watching two attractive mannequins trying to solve crimes.

3. OST

I literally do not f*cking remember it. That should tell you everything.

4. Overall

As I said in all my review, I am not the type of person to rewatch a series unless if its good. Would I rewatch this? F*CK NO. Would I recommend it? Maybe if you just wanna look at hot women making bad decisions.

The plot twists were fire, I’ll give them that. But the pacing? The chemistry? The weak-ass action? TRASH. This could’ve been an 8-episode series instead of dragging us through 10 episodes of stiff acting and Tul fumbling every single f*cking fight.

Final rating: 6/10.

Now, do I suffer through Pluto next or just set myself on fire instead???

I WAS FIGHTING WITH MYSELF

I understand that the movie is supposed to have fluff and romance genre but it is SO BORING!! I literally have to fight myself to go through 8 episodes because I believe that the series have more than this but yeah no. Nothing. The fact that the conflict is just one of them being confused of their own sexuality literally brings me back to 2017 where Make It Right the series begins their journey for being whatdafak kind of plot. I feel like both of their actor lack of charm skills and making the series a bit boring. Their gaze is awkward and stiff. I only watch for Poppy to be honest. He is such a good actor and the only person making this series having it's fun moment. The acting gap between the actors are HUGE and I am sorry but I dont like the actors at all. Why don't they cast SantaEarth as the main pairing? I think both of them would have done a better job. I am so frustrated that the fact that this series are from Mandee which always produce a good series but what the fuck is this? Total disappointment to be honest and I don't understand how did they get these actors ??? UGH. Anyway, I've gone through my hell so if u are having trouble in falling asleep, feel free to watch this series :)

MSP 2.0????

ALRIGHT BESTIES, LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS GEMINIFOURTH SERIES BECAUSE IT’S GIVING CHAOTIC TEEN ENERGY, AND I’M HERE FOR IT. But first, can we just agree that Fourth IS Atom? Like, no notes. This kid isn’t acting; he’s literally just living his life on screen. Fourth, my goofy king, you EAT every time. Anyway, let’s break this down because I’ve got thoughts, and they’re juicy.

ATOM. He’s the definition of “Oops, my bad.” This boy is so messy, clumsy, and absolutely clueless that he accidentally starts a fake situationship with Kongthap. Like, sir??? Mudmee was throwing her shot, and you’re out here giving “Sure, I’ll take the bullet instead.” And then he’s like, “Wait, why does this feel kinda right??” The drama, the chaos, the gay panic—chef’s kiss. Fourth was born for this. He’s got the comedic timing, the awkward vibes, the “someone protect him at all costs” energy.

KONGTHAP? Eh, he’s cute or whatever. Let’s be real, Gemini is playing Tinn 2.0 from My School President. Dreamy, protective, zero personality crisis—like, bro, we get it, you’re perfect. But also… give me some flavor, ya know? His whole arc is “I’m scared to tell my mom I’m gay,” and I’m over here like, BABE, THAT’S YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM? Okay, slay, but I need more spice. Still, Gemini and Fourth’s chemistry? Ugh, they serve every time, no crumbs.

NOW THE SIDE PAIRING… OMG, WHAT EVEN??? Mudmee and Half? Messy AF, but lowkey the drama I live for. Mudmee slapping Half? YES MA’AM. Girl said, “You wanna act up? I’ll act up harder.” Their whole relationship is just a series of unresolved arguments, but it’s giving “toxic but I love you anyway”. Like, I hate it, but also, I can’t look away. ALSO, can we talk about Mudmee and Atom’s friendship?? They’re such ride-or-dies, giving each other trash advice like “just wing it, bestie, what’s worse can happen?”. UM EVERYTHING???? but it works somehow. I want what they have.

THE PLOT?? IT’S A CIRCUS, AND I’M BUYING TICKETS. Starts with a misunderstanding, ends with a love story—classic rom-com vibes. Atom is whiny, yes, but it’s cute because he’s out here living his first-love fantasy. And don’t even get me started on the Cinderella play episode. ATOM AS CINDERELLA??? I was SCREAMING. Fourth was so chaotic and adorable; I had to pause just to recover.

FINAL VERDICT: Would I rewatch it? Abso-freakin-lutely. It’s the perfect comfort series with romance, friendship, and that sweet teenage cringe we secretly love. BUT HELLO??? Can someone give GeminiFourth a serious, mature series next year?? I’m so tired of the fluff. They’re giving “potential to destroy my soul,” and y’all keep giving them happy puppy vibes. Like, give me angst, drama, betrayal—something juicy, please. Anyway, I’m off to buy some Euro Cakes because product placement works on me. Byeee!

IGNORE OTHER REVIEWS

Please just listen to me. I don't know what other reviews said about this show to be disappointing??? All I know is Yim and Tutor have THE BEST CHEMISTRY EVERRRR!!!!! The fact that they make me forgot about the main pairing really says something. AND I AM SO GLADDD THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SERIES because this is DA BOMB!! I like how Jade is trying his best in solving the mystery of Mai's crush when he did not realize that he is Mai's crush. The way Yim portrays Jade is stunning and he knows that he has the best smile so he use it for his advantage in portraying Jade. I really like how the story shows that sometimes supporting role that supports you need their own support as well and if there is something for me to complain would prolly be THAT 8 EPISODES ARE NOT ENOUGH!!!!! please... give them more project cause what is this babe? 8 EPISODES????

Tutor on the other hand, WOW. The way he looks at Yim when playing Mai is really something else, man. I would honestly MELT. He looks really IN LOVE with Jade and it seems like he is MAI like Mai is him. I like how he is showcasing how he adore Jade as Mai and the action scene is not cringe either. I really laugh when I watch this series because IT IS SO DAMN FUNNY.

PLEASE WATCH THIS SERIES ON IQYI since the UNCUT scene is *CHEF'S KISS*.

P/S: I still cannot get over the part Mai wearing Jade's glasses tbh FUCKKKKKK but anyway, please ignore other review and watch this series.
