Mediocre actor with bad production

I wouldn’t say I am disappointed with this series but its not exactly a good or bad series either. I mean I was looking forward to watch this series because of Dew, but I think the problem here is the editing, the plot and the directing. Sometimes the transition between Scene A to Scene B is not that smooth which makes me ponder who let these people edit this series 😭. The sex scenes are delicious since they been too generous sometimes the sex scenes are too long for me. Like you include their kiss scenes for 3 minutes straight for what?

The plot is meh. I mean the story has potential but the way they develop it is not that well. I wish they could include the part where Nail fighting more with Him on whether Him truly feels him as replacement of Blue. Also, there is no elaboration in this series and I am so pissed the fact that one episode only have like 30 minutes airtime only and the remaining 15 minutes are for BTS. Like un hello?

The series could either have 12 episodes with much plot development or 8 episodes with the same plot. Cause to be honest, i dont think 12 episodes are necessary and I am quite shooketh that this series is under GMM-25. Usually GMMTV took it serious about the plot but what is this miss gurl?

Though I like how at the actors portray their characters, the real winning point here is really those 4 straight girls hhahah. I like that the girls instead of trans to portray comedic role since its rare to see trans have proper role, i think its time to variety those role.

OVERHYPED?

I subscribe IQIYI for this bro cause of the uncut version is steamy ( that's what people been saying ) and I admit, that is indeed true. Steamy and keep making me ask myself if this is allowed? LOL. Okay first, you know the series is meh when the series ended, you just be like "Eh. Okay.". The plot itself have potential to grow but I wish they explain in much detailed version of Alpha x Enigma and the fact that some of the Alpha and Enigma have powers. I feel so lost when suddenly Babe have sense/power, I was like "Eh? Is this fantasy genre?". The explanation is lacking however the conflict is really well execute. No delayed part except sometimes there is unnecessary love scene which got me questioning "You did this for what?".

Okay. The acting. I'm sorry but Pooh need to improve his gaze and the way he is talking to his co-star. It felt weak. It felt like he is still stiff and not ready. But I dont know why when it comes to sex scene, his gaze changed and almost makes my heart skips a beat. LMAO. Charlie's character seems to lack of passion, lack of love and he doesn't even care about maintaining relationship with Way nor other X Hunter's members. I feel like he could care less about them as long as he can be with Babe. Pavel, on the other hand, MISS GURL- I LOVE HIM! I mean how can I not remember he were in 2MOONS 2. Like um WHERE??? Anyway, Pavel's acting is alright but Babe's character is 80% RED FLAG. Like THERE IS NO WAY that he doesn't know Way likes him. Like please-. COME ON. And I think that Babe knows about Way's feelings but he chose to ignore it because back then he was young and all he wants to do is to fight Tony. But still, RED FLAG!

NUT. NUT. NUT. He is my new husband now. HAHAHAHAH I mean- I did watch his first series as main role - TSIMR and I love his acting but it's been a while so I WAS LIKE "YO! WHY IS NUT HERE???". HAHAHAHA but to be honest, I like Way's character and I wish the screenwriter could have include like emotional lines as Way's final lines like, "I am sorry, babe. That day where we back to become friends, will never happen." or "You love him because he would die for you but I love you because I died for you.". YOU KNORRRR???? Such a waste. Way is the only BL character that makes me cry. IM NOT EVEN KIDDING.

Anyway, plot could be better, good cast but lack of good lines.

EarthMix is the real star here

BRUH- I HAVE TO STOP MYSELF A FEW TIMES BECAUSE OF THE FEELING TOO MUCH. I SWEAR EARTHMIX IS THE CUTEST- I- UM HELLO???!!!!!! I couldn’t help but to remember why I USED TO BE IN LOVE WITH THEM SO MUCH??!!!!! Like oh god. I like their kiss scenes though HAHAHAHAH. But anyway, can I just say how I love Phupha and Tian express their love? It reminds me of old kind of love. OhmNanon on the other hand is okay. The usual them being very playful and very goofy. It’s just that I wish there are more of their plan in attempting to make Phupha and Thian made up though. But overall, it was alright.

PONDPHUWIN IS GOOD BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT PERTH?

I know I know that the main couple is PondPhuwin but I couldn't help but to think about Perth all the god damn time!! I never thought Perth as a good actor but UM HELLO????? I am clearly wrong! He is a good damn actor and the way he express his feelings, good god! Can I just compliment the outfit coordinator as well? Perth's outfit is just... LORD HAVE MERCY! Anyway, let's talk about the characters first.

I don't have any single complain about the characters. For Neung's character, I really like how immature he is at the beginning of the series however soon, he has character development episodes by episodes. He started to get less selfish and open up to the other characters. Phuwin shows great acting by showing how spoiled Neung's character is and how difficult for him to open up to anyone since most of the people that approach him must want something. AND LORD, CAN WE JUST TALK ABOUT PHUWIN'S ENGLISH? MY GOD!!! I didn't think I could move on from Bible's english in KinnPorsche series but MISS GURL-... Phuwin's english is damn good and apparently he is fluent in English. Anyway, I kind of understand why Neung is being so stubborn since he is always all alone, so that's the logic why he is being like that.

POND. POND. POND. HM.... GORGEOUS and I like how he is portraying Palm. As a servant that is loyal to his master, always look down and being all protective of his master. THOUGH, I was about to complain about why is he being so weak during action scene, it's a logic explanation since he is just 18. His character I mean so he doesn't have that much energy to protect Neung. I wish the action scene where he was doing his laundry could be develop better cause they have so much potential like they could have use the bamboo ladder as a prop. What a waste. But, seriously, love them.

KISS SCENES ARE DA BOMB. When I said DA BOMB i mean DA BOMB. Not some high school peck on the lips kind of shit. Their kiss scenes are *chef kiss*. I love it when they kiss, they show that they are really passionate with each other, like they longing for each other's presence.

ENEMY TO LOVER WITH COMEDIC TWIST

I love love love this series!!!! I mean not that much though cause I wish there were more kiss scenes cause they are TOO HOOKED WITH EACH OTHER!!!!! I was wondering who is GeminiFourth since they keep on popping on my fyp and now that I watch their series, I can confirm that they have an excellent chemistry. First episode and I AM IN LOVE!!!! The awkwardness is not in the room with us. Their chemistry is pure and innocent maybe because they are playing a high schoolers so their relationship is puppy-like, very goofy especially Fourth. OH MY GOD. I couldn't help but to think of Baekhyun whenever I watch how good Fourth portraying Gun. Gun is very playful and someone that is living carefree yet he becomes very serious when it comes to his band.

To be honest, I have no issue with this series. It reminds of first love in high school feels like, with their friends already knowing that they got together but giving space for them to confessed that they are dating. The feeling confession is not that direct and more like they are filtering their words to tease each other BUT i think that is damn adorable!! MAD IN LOVE with the pureness of their relationship. If I want to complain, just small issue where I think their kiss scene is very limited. That is all. LOL.

NOT FOR COLD BLOODED HEART

This series is the perfect example of kdrama series. They have the heart throbbing scene and the plot is interesting since it involve supernatural as well. I did read the manhwa but I dropped it because it is too boring but this SERIES!!! Miss gurl- Its just a simple BL manhwa that potrays excellent innocent and pure relationship between two men that was suppose to be together in their past life.

I know that some of the viewers will say they dont understand the ending and thats only because they need much straight forward answer but for me, I understand them perfectly. Life is unfair. So when Youdam request God to save Seolbaek in exchange of their memories, it was granted but Seolbaek can remember him. So at the end of the series, its Seolbaek’s turn to pursue Youdam this time.

To be honest I could understand the series easily but i dont understand why the others say the ending is unclear. Anyway, I just wish the kiss scene would look more passionate during the time they agreed to date each other and the runtime really pissed me off but the plot doesnt look rushed at all. They were pretty chill but I think if the runtime is longer, the story would have been better.

PERFECT EXAMPLE OF TOXIC LOVE

Okay I know that some of the viewers will say 'STOP ROMANTICIZING RAPE', this story is not about they romanticizing rape. It is about a toxic love where it started with rape and soon they overcome their own trauma and ended up in love with each other and during their 3 years love, even the smallest little thing could lead into a huge argument yet they couldn't help but to be with each other.

Day is toxic because he groom Itt to be hopeless and not sure what to do in life without Day's help and Itt is toxic because of how stupid he could get because of a cake and he is really stubborn. Both of them have their own toxic trait and yes, there is a huge character development throughout the series. Though, I need to complain that WHY THE FUCK IS FRANK WEARING A WIG????????? Like i really cannot unsee it. My god.

But honestly, I am a skipper but this series makes me watch from the start until the end and IT IS A GOOD SERIES. The plot is not the problem here but I think Frank's acting is a little bit stiff and he need slight improvement in it but DARLING..... LONG'S ACTING IS DAYMMMMMMMMMNNNNN. I AM NOT SURE WHY I HATE HIM PREVIOUSLY??????? He is so cool and charming!! Like damn i could watch his fighting scene for hours and I will still fall for him. DAMN LIKE OH GOD HE IS SO COOL I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING. His acting alone could make me watch this series all over again.

Frank's acting is.. hm... very doubtful. He seems to be stiff in certain part and his eyes looks empty, not enough emotion. Though, he is doing alright for this heavy series, I wish he could just give more commitment in this. And also I think its because of Itt's character that could become one of the challenge.

SLOW BURN AND SLOWLY KILLING ME

Hm… i have watched MeenPring series which is MDGO before and it was alright and I thought this series could do them justice but MY GOD!!! This series is boring. I am sorry but the series have good actors but plain and bland plot. No heartthrobbing scenes much and sex scenes are okay not the best but it was alright. This series could end within 8 episodes but I dont know what is going on with the unecessary lovey dovey scene without purposes???

The conflict between Ai and his mother is not resolved too. Just hanging on a thread without any closure. Boring. I dont know why but MeenPring always got the most boring series. The pattern of their series are the same. It was good but not good enough for 12 episodes long. Could have just shorten it to 8 episodes. Cause after episode 8, i started to yawn and its getting boring.


In a nutshell? Good actor, boring plot, no character development, no plot development, unecessary lovey dovey scenes, side pairing development sucks and no closure plot.

SOME ARE GOOD AND SOME ARE NOT

I am just glad that I decided to watch this. This series is not really all bad. Basically, all love story have different plot and meaning following 7 friends with the name matches the day. First of all, Tue x Ake is bullshit story. The acting is stiff and so wrong. I just don't feel it in them. It just feel blank. Pretty much wanna drop the series because of them but then, the second story, Sun x Nuea is ABSOLUTE LOVEEEE. Okay so I watch Cutie Pie series first than this so when I saw them, I was like "THEY LOOK SO FAMILIAR." Anyhow, the duality of the character is so cute! Playful x Uptight couple is absolute love!!! I just love how Max potrays Sun as someone that have been denying his feelings yet he ended up acknowledging them anyway. Nat's acting is slightly stiff but still good! Their acting literally save the series.

Next, Mon X Team is just... cringe. But good love story though. I mean Mon is basically was trick into sleeping with Team since Team is a scorer so basically after they sleep together, Team sort of had feelings for Mon and change his playboy life into fully dating Mon. Mon is cute but CRINGE AS FUCK! I just.. ugh ew. Nah. Thurs x Pao's story is short , rushed and lack of something but I could not put my finger on it. I am unsure what but it's just blergh. I skipped a lot of part since it is boring. After that, Puth X Kaeng. OH. MY. GOD. I LOVE THEM! Puth is absolute strange character but the acting is perfect. FWB kind of story but when the other's wants more than just sex, what will happen? It feels slight rush too but still love them. I really want to punch Puth's face for like ignioring Kaeng in the car. like how can u be so cold to ignore someone that is crying? Kaeng is so cute when he cry and looks so sincere too lol

I don't want to talk about Masuk x Jia . Their acting is... god. Lay's acting is so much sincere and comparing to Yoon's looks slight amateur and stiff. Really dont even bother to watch it BUT! Sat X Choke. HOW CUTE CAN THEY GET??!!!! OH MY GAD. This story is absolutely different and interesting. It shows how Sat was given second chance to fix his relationship with Choke. UGH THEY ARE SO CUTE!! THEIR ENGLISH IS CUTE TOOO!!! MY GOD! I really hope they are given another main series. LOVE THEM. Overall, 7.5/10. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Could have been better

Let me just start by the acting and the casting for this series. Honestly, I love Sejin's acting even when he stars in Mr Heart series. His acting is good though I feel if he polish and go to acting class, he could be the next top actor. I love the way his eyes just stares into his co-star's eyes but his eyes filled with emotion. Sejin's feels and letting his role takes over his body really AMAZED me. I never follow BL K-drama that much but his acting is something else. On the other hand, Insoo's acting is alright but there's no rush and patience. Like he doesn't portray the rushness of Hosun's character when he is being split between his sister or his wife. 'Blank' is written all over his face and I couldn't feel much chemistry between them but Sejin make it up for them so it doesn't look too obvious. Can we normalize hiring actors with good potential? Like this is not the first time and I feel so disappointed that this has happened. Anyhow, love Sejin's acting.

The plot somehow have a lot potential to grow and to expand but too short for 8 episodes. The closure is alright since we all seen it coming for both of them that they will be together. I still feel it such a waste for the director for doing 8 episodes with 12 minutes per episode. It would have been better if it shows their daily struggle of how to keep the secret and day by day, they soon to realized that they love each other more than just an arranged marriage. Ah. What a waste. But still good plot and storyline though.

Overall, 7/10 . I still feel they should extend the episodes or maybe the length of each episode cause this is too short, too rushed and slightly amateur but still a good one. Looking forward in watching more series and movies from Sejin. <3

CRINGE PLOT AND AMATEUR ACTORS

Honestly, I only watch this series for Kit and Mark. Their actings are amazing and their chemistry really makes my heart jumps out of its place. They are so adorable and the fact that they have steamy scene in this series is 🥹 Anyway, I skip a lot of other pairings part cause it is so cringe and their acting really says “Amateurs”. I hate those actors as their acting are sucks and stiff. There’s a huge difference between Copter, Kim and Bas’s acting and the other actors. It literally screams stiff and amateur.

Lets talk about the plot, the plot honestly is shitty as fuck. The issue is not that serious and it is much less interesting than S1. I don’t care about other pairings except for Kit and Mark which is quite a small issue but because of both their ego, it has become huge. I can sense that Mark is not that serious about the issue and I feel like the tears are fake cause its not even a huge issue. Wayo and Thanu on the other hand, what can I say about this couple… I hate them actually like its so cringe and the fact that their romance plot is going round and round and that’s it. They shouldn’t bring Pha in the series at all like for fuck sake! I literally sighs out loud when they make Pha’s character dead like??????? Wtf and the fact that wayo just moved on after Pha died like huh???? Shitty plot honestly.

Like I said earlier, I just watch for Copter and Kim and I just hate other couples. Overall, 5/10 and all 5 points goes to Copter and Kim only.

BEAUTIFUL CINEMATOGRAPHY!!

I have to say that its been a while since i watch BL lakorn and I am glad that I chose this lakorn to watch after long time. Its my first time watching Zee’s acting and honestly, I am head over heels with him. Dont get me wrong but Mew kinda looks like Gun. Okay next thing we are going to talk is the plot.

The plot is interesting but somehow for me the issue of the couple doesn’t really that important. I mean they just need to communicate with each other. The issue is not really serious and honestly, i just love the cinematography of this series. Its not cliché and not cringe and i love the way they capture every scene. It opens a new point of view for me cause most of the BL lakorn have a lousy and cringe cinematography. This one is something new and i love it!

I don’t have much complain and i love the Steamy scenes as well. Looks so intimate and i AM IN LOVE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Overall, 9/10! Lost one point due to the plot being not that interesting. But still a good watch. But I probably won’t re-watch them. Got a little bit bored.

MORE LIKE HEART THAT SKIPS A FEW MINUTES 'CAUSE I WATCHED IT AT 1.5X SPEED

Okay, so I finished this series in like, what? FOUR DAYS?? And that’s me zooming at full 1.5x speed like I'm in Fast & Furious: BL Edition. 'Cause let’s be real, these characters be moving like we got all the time in the world. Babe, I do NOT. The moment I found out they were doing a series together, I had a whole Meh. reaction. Like, okay Est is cute and all, but lead material? IDK, bro. Feels like they picked him ‘cause no one else was free that day. And William? WHO??? Had to Google this man. Then I saw he’s from LYKN, so I was like, “Aight, maybe he’s special or whatever.” But did I even watch the trailer? HELL NO. Didn’t even click it. I was out here like, “Aight, another GMMTV fluff-fest, who cares.” But then my BL inner saboteur whispered, “What if it's actually good?” So I caved. And here we are.

Now, I got two VERY DIFFERENT opinions about this show, so let's get into it.

1. Plot

So we start with Po getting played by his ex, Earn, who basically jacked his ideas, and babe, the BETRAYAL was real. Homeboy got dumped, scammed, and humiliated, all before the opening credits. Then, Po lands a job as a videographer for this MARS documentary (aka, the most disorganized K-pop wannabe boyband I’ve ever seen), and BOOM. He catches feelings for Thame, the main vocalist. Classic workplace romance, but make it trauma bonding. And then we find out MARS is basically on life support, about to disband, and Po’s out here acting like the Dr. Strange of music careers, tryna fix shit that ain’t even his business.

At first, I was kinda into it. Like, “Okay, cute, lil office romance mixed with boyband politics, we EATIN’.” But then… the pacing, BABY. I’m talking snail-on-a-bath-salt-high level slow. They hit us with conflict after conflict, but instead of shaking me to my core, I was just sitting there like, “So is something actually gonna happen or nah?”

Then comes EP 2, and this is where my left eyebrow started twitching. Thame suddenly drops the “I’m leaving for Korea” bomb, and I was like, “Sir, you just got here.” And I won’t lie, I was worried they were gonna drag this out into an unbearable mess, but surprise, they kinda handled it well. A lil dry, but well. HOWEVER. Let’s address the elephant in the room: the plot was giving real-life LYKN shade. LIKE. Did no one on the production team think, “Hmm, maybe having William’s character ditch his group isn’t the best look considering he's ACTUALLY in a boyband?” 💀💀💀 The way Dylan wrote ‘Thame and friends’ instead of ‘MARS’?? GIVING CHA EUN WOO AND ASTRO REALNESS, I NEARLY CHOKED.

And then, the biggest betrayal of the century: PEPPER. PEPPER, YOU DUMBASS. WE WERE ROOTING FOR YOU. WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU. AND THEN YOU TELL US YOU GOT A FAEN??? EXCUSE ME??? BABE, THIS IS A BL, NOT WE GOT MARRIED. Pack it up. That was so selfish of him, and I hated every second of it. Like, you’re an idol. You know the rules. You ain't supposed to be out here playing house. And don’t even get me started on the communication in this series. I have seen TOILETS with better communication skills than this group.

The ending? Meh. A lil cringe, but I ate it up anyway. It’s giving Hallmark BL. Nothing groundbreaking, just vibes.

2. Characters

- Thame (played by William) – This man had me fighting for my life. He started off as this hot-headed, stubborn little brat, and I was already side-eyeing. And why does he randomly switch personalities like a malfunctioning AI??? One minute he's yelling, next minute he’s all soft and touchy with Po. WHICH IS IT, SIR??? Am I watching an actual human being or a badly written Wattpad OC??? The whiplash was REAL. And why does William lowkey look like JaFirst’s long-lost cousin??

- Po (played by Est) – Okay, first impression? BLAND AS HELL like my wallet after buying GMMTV merch. But then… HE GREW ON ME. He’s all shy and introverted, and at first, I was like, “Ugh, another wet paper towel MC,” but then we got THE SCENES. The one where he falls asleep while on the phone with Thame? BITCH. I SCREAMED. It was so cute I nearly threw my phone. And then THE KID SCENE???? THE WAY HE PICKED UP THAT KID SO THEY COULD SEE MARS BETTER??????? BABY, I WAS DEAD ON SIGHT. He’s literally the softest boy alive, I CANNOT. Also, CONGRATS TO EST FOR JOINING THE "PRETTY CRIER" CLUB. WE LOVE TO SEE IT.

- Jun (played by Nut) – Lemme tell you something. I did NOT expect to be sitting here thirsting over a T-POP idol, but… HI, SIR. 😳 Jun is giving leader energy, giving chaos, giving "I will throw hands for my friends." But then he turned into a Thame-Po love consultant, and I was like, “AWW.” And THEN. THEN. THEY MADE HIM LIKE PO TOO????? BABE, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE CUPID, NOT THE OTHER MAN. SIR. SIR. STAY IN YOUR LANE. But no, turns out he was scheming all along. A MENACE. I LOVE HIM. Jun lowkey looks like Jimmy 2.0, tell me I’m wrong.

- Pepper (played by Tui) – At first, I was like, “Daddy energy.” And then he hit us with the “I got a faen” bullshit, and I had to spiritually escort myself out of the chat. BRUH. JAIL. But also… hi, new bias. Damn it.

- Dylan (played by Hong) – BRO. FUCK THIS GUY. Next. Could’ve been my new bias but his character is annoying as hell.

- Nano (played by Lego) – Baby boy. Pretty boy. He’s the youngest, and I just wanted to wrap him up in a blanket and protect him. But the writers did him dirty by not giving him more screentime. #JusticeForNano

- Earn (played by Pepper) – WHY IS PEPPER ALWAYS THE VILLAIN???? WHAT DID HE DO TO GMMTV??? MY MAN NEEDS JUSTICE.


Acting-wise? NO ISSUES. Everyone ate.

Why? Because it was ALMOST BORING. But the drama saved their asses. The chemistry? Mid. The plot? Dragged. The conflict? Saved the whole thing.

Let’s be clear: I DO NOT REWATCH SERIES UNLESS THEY’RE ICONIC.

This series? NAH, BYE.

It didn’t "make my heart skip a beat" or whatever they were going for. But still an okay watch.

Would I recommend? If you have time to waste, sure.

Would I sell my soul for a Season 2? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

This whole special series speaks for improvement. I FUCKING SWEAR. I hate Fuse so much before this because he always in denial and Tee is always be the one that have to persuade him and convince him that the relationship that they have is real and it's not wrong. HOWEVER. GURL GURL GURLLLLLLLLL! This special series fucking change my whole point of view on Fuse. He has mature and he use his heart more when it comes to his relationship with Tee. And now, Tee is the one who having second thoughts about their relationship because of his parents wants him to break up with Fuse.

I am not kidding. I cried twice or is it.. thrice. lmao i lost count. When Fuse cried because he was mad Tee didn't share his problem with him eventhough they are a couple just got me WOAH. To be honest, they look kinda cute when they fought because they look like an old married couple but when Fuse just decided drastic decision to break up because its what Tee's parents one, got me like "OH NOOOOOOO". Then after he said mean things to Tee, he chase after Tee and said he is sorry. WOAH THAT PART JUST GOT ME LIKE "FUSE HAS MATURE A LOT OH MY GASSSSHHHHHHHH.". Never forget that in MIR, Tee is the one who always says sorry first even though it's not his fault. But in this series, i can feel Fuse's sincerity and it just hit me so hard.

At the end of the series, Tee finally decided that he will be with Fuse and they got together again which makes me really glad. Fuse looks so sincere in this series and he didn't hesitate one bit. Maybe because it's been 3 years they are in relationship and he knows what he wants.

The angst and pain is so fucking real that i never encounter with one-sided love, i could feel the pain. Off's acting is 10/10 and Gun! Hats off to him! The part where Gun was heartbroken and always cry in the shower hits me so hard that i don't know if i ever miss one episode without crying. This is like 10/10 (as you can see in my review gurl ) .

But i kinda have love-hate relationship with Third. Because it seems like he is so stubborn. Like gurl if Khai have show his true interest to me ( the part where he waits for the Gangsta group for road trip ), i already on my knees for him. I swear, if you are going to watch this episode, you need to prepare a lot of tissue because- oh god! WHYYYY!! but i am glad that the ending ends well and im so happy to see Third's smile when he is with Khai because all this time, it's hard for me to see his smile.
