Honest question here. What it is about her acting that you find awful? Is it her delivery, the way she looks when she acts? Is it her style? Or it just seem wrong and awful to you overall? Trying to understand why because I don’t have any background whatsoever in acting or anything related to acting so in might not have a critical eye as you.

Yes indeed there is the difference constructive criticism - you really see a flaw,
Point it out and wish the actress well. Bullying - point out the flaws,
Tried really hard to find the flaws mock and repeatedly point it out in a demeaning way., make fun of the actor/ actress.

Yes indeed. I am really enjoying this drama because although there is the usual cdrama trope, it has a mystery to it. Also it is like mini series in a series because of the different lives.

My theory is similar to yours. I am theorizing on the premise that the emperor is the villain. I think what happened is that CK is trying to stop the emperor to kill everyone and destroy the world. I still have no clue why. CH went and help but in the end she sacrificed herself to save CK, everyone thought she died but CK cast the soul protecting spell to save CH, so she did not die but became the cloud and later became XY because of the thread master( btw I suspect knows what really happened ). The emperor probably cast a spell on CK to lose his memories and blame the chaos and destruction on CH ( a win win for him) and declared himself the emperor. The love tribulations will help them both regain their primordial spirits because pure love wins all the time. That is my theory and I am sticking to it - for now 😁

This is what comes to mind when I see negative comments about an upcoming or popular actor that some people just can’t stop to criticize and pull down for example the FL - YCY who has been constantly stoned in this thread. My maternal instincts just get a notch higher when I read
these comments and I feel like I have to defend her. Honestly we shld not have the right to be so brutally critical of any actors/ actress if we ourselves cannot even manage to land a role in a school play and be pretty enough to be in a cover of any local magazine because it is just not right. Yes we can voice/ write our opinions but we should also be mindful that it can hurt other people. That being said I am sure some of the bashers of this actress are nowhere half as talented as her nor as accomplished. Her acting is a matter of opinion and preference . I enjoy her acting, I feel like she has an expressive eyes and can deliver sad and angsty scenes and I don’t find her annoying at all. She is actually cute and fun to watch. She is one of the most beautiful actors in China and pleasing to the eyes. I have watched a few of her dramas - Dance of the Phoenix, midsummer is full of love and heroes . She has improved a lot and I am sure she works really hard to improve more. This reminds me of another quote about trees - the trees that are slow to grow bears the best fruits by Moliere. Give her a chance to grow. If you can’t then just leave her alone to be able to peacefully perfect her craft.

I think her reasons are magnanimous. She realized that for her mortal parents this is their lifetime so she chose to save them to prolong their lives and love story but she was too late. She ended up being trapped by the king because she does not want CK to die. She later realized the King truly loves her and for the last time tried to save CK by threatening to kill herself. I love the line she said when she was dying - love and hate are intertwined .

So true it actually plays a lot in the psyche. So people who might truly enjoy it will miss out. But really it is their loss if they are easily influenced by negative comments. Sometimes I wonder if there are paid saboteurs here 😁 to deliberately tank the ratings. Just wondering

She is actually smart and has a big heart. Realizing that for an immortal, this lifetime is fleeting and will pass , for her mortal parents this is their lifetime so she went back to try and save them. She wanted to help prolong their lives hence their love unfortunately she was too late. She had to make a very hard choice her parents who are mortal or her love who she knows is going through a tribulation. Either way it will break her heart. In the end she was trapped by the Prince . This is my take. I am enjoying the drama too.

Lol. I wonder the same thing. We don’t have to conform to the popular. When I am inclined to throw a negative comment I just remember that the actors worked really hard for it and we could very well negatively influence other people that might find it enjoyable otherwise.

I recently finished a 144 episode Turkish drama. I enjoyed it though so no biggie, I am actually waiting for season 2. However I have not even finished Yang Yang and Zhao Luis’s drama. So it all depends on the interests and preferences.

I did not mean to hurt your feelings, just a little frustrated that people keeps mentioning the bad acting when I feel like it really is not.
