I am biased towards YCY I watched most of her dramas and enjoyed it. however her acting range is not there yet there is a lot of room for improvement. I still enjoyed this drama though because she has a lot moments where she delivers too. I will continue to follow her career like my child watching her grow into her full potential.
This drama also revealed the ugliness of people. That a drama can unleash a hatred so putrid and vile towards someone.

This drama showcased DYX’s acting range. He is indeed an excellent actor. He can convey a wide emotional range, looks stunning in costume and he should get more lead roles in the future. This is the first drama I watched that he is in.

I always thought the second life is the mortal parallel of what happened 30k yrs ago that is why they gave emphasis. I think what happened is when we were watching that life we are also busy defending this drama from haters and fighting the biases that is starting to creep up our psyche. Many dropped it that time because the negative won a little. Those of us who persisted enjoyed the surprise that came. I personally was not bored on the 2nd life. It is in my opinion better and shorter version of some other cdrama that starts good but becomes boring in the middle which I did start a few then ending up dropping. I may not have watched more than most of you though.

I am just like you. I liked it from the start and I am one of the few that liked the 2nd life Also I am one that does not hate the SML. I actually pity him because I know his is a severe case of unrequited love. His love is pure though if you think about ot from his perspective.
The brother has to have a deeper reason than mere greed, jealousy and power hungry. I know these 3 alone can distort any sensible/ rationale being - mortal or otherwise( at least on most drama) but still it does not sit welwith me that he will kill his brother for it. Is he really a half brother? And where are the parents? Did he kill them too? Why is he in cahoots with the demon. I have a feeling he is the demon king himself and just disgusting as part of the qilin. I will not be surprised at all of this is the case.

Episode 31 and 32 are amazing. If I have to praise this drama it has an amazing flow of the story. As it move on through the episodes, the mystery builds up , so you want more and can’t wait for the next one/ life. It truly is an amazing drama. On top of that the chemistry of the leads are on 🔥. YCY acting is good for me so I am really enjoying this. Definitely going to be one of my top dramas - and I am talking about across the other realms of the dramaland 😁
Ok I know everyone is going crazy over CK’s look and he does look gorgeous btw, I will be the lone YCY look admirer here. OMG I think she looks like a Barbie doll in that last scene 😻Like she walked out of a fairy tale book or something. I love all about her look in that life. Amazing costume, make up and design.
