I watched this because the cast of 2D1N visited Gokseong and were wailing about how scared they are to go there because of the movie, and I'm a fan of scary movies so I was excited that maybe there's finally an actual scary movie produced by Koreans, but nah. From a westerner's viewpoint this isn't scary, gets boring quite fast or takes a long time to even get interesting, but I know that for Koreans this movie is freaky as hell because they actually believe(d) that shaman stuff and being possessed.
The end was what made it interesting though. A bit unexpected, but not surprising. An OK movie, but if I had taken up watching this alone then I would've probably dropped it before it even got 1/4 into the story.
so much has happened up to this point that i feel like the drama has already pretty much reached its climax and should start closing up all ends, but we are only at the halfway point..... i hope this doesn't mean the end is going to drag ://
I've been waiting THREE YEARS for Gong Yoo to return with something, anything!! Heck yes sign me the f up I am…
the plot isn't strong, true, but the characters are unique.
anyways, i might give it a try in the future because i live very very close to finland and i want to know if they do it justice, but i'm afraid i will be disappointed tbh (angry painter was a scarring experience)
as if k-idols who can't really act aren't taking enough roles from actual korean actors already, now they gotta…
girl i have no problems with you, it's all good and we both understand each other perfectly. those last two replies of mine were for someone else who was being rude and she has now deleted her comments, so yeah :)

don't call me ignorant when i never generalized all idols and actors. i specifically said "idols who can't really act" and "actual korean actors" (okay, i omitted the "who can actually act" from there...)
obviously it's not their fault, again, i never said it was. in general i think using idols is a very cheap way to attract an audience to something otherwise quite mediocre.
true, kyunsoo for example can act really really well and i've seen some really good acting from idols who i first thought were really actors by occupation, only to later find out they are actually idols, and obviously there are a ton of actual actors who do a horrible job, but in general, idols aren't that good.
i've watched exo next door and for my standards chanyeol was horrible, even for just a little fun web drama, so i'm making my statement solely based off of what i've seen.
am i the only one who doesn't really care much about the past story and just wants it to get back to the present already and see hyejung be a badass doctor?
all this hype over how good this movie is is so misleading bc this was really frustrating to watch, it felt sooooo slow, the ending sucked and if i wasn't watching this with a friend then i would've probably stopped halfway

if that's how you feel then don't watch this one

but no i haven't watched it because it doesn't sound like a good plot to me sigh

well, plus points for the plot twist
