How are people rating this below 8.. I Watched it a while back and just rewatched it with a friend. Some dragging here and there but this is by no mean a bad show.
I think the ending made sense to some extent . From ep 13 it felt like what should happen
Tofu is the product of their love. In ep 14 or 13 , tatarn said that if he ever died and came back as a ghost he could come back as handsome to make nut fall in love with him. He chose to come back as someone that he perceived Nut would want to love , Neung. I was heartbroken for him. And yes I love Tofu , I wish the show found a better way to end his arc but he clearly couldn’t be endgame with Nut. I’m not ignoring the fact that Nut really loved tofu , it just feels like his love for Nut is deeper and he chose to not open that page because he had Tofu with him. He moved on too fast after seeing Tatarn in the hospital, he clearly repressed his feelings to not hurt Tofu; and Tofu knows that. They probably could have lived together and been happy if Tatarn did not wake up but Tofu would not have been fully content.
i almost gave up watching because of all the weird comments abt it but I'm glad i didn't. It was pretty good. I wish there was an English translation to the novels though TT
