Yeah I almost stopped too. The intro was up to ep 5 kinda … the real plot starts after. After 6 it gets better and better

1-5 should have just been 2 eps max. Ep 6 onward are so interesting I feel like more people would have continued if the intro was shorter

spoilerssssss, joking. I am at the episode after the funeral so I’ll probably stop reading and come back to read later. I typically don’t add add dramas in my list until I watch a few eps an feel like investing more time into them. Unless of course I had been anticipating them for a while. As I recall they did not explicitly say it’s from that family. Just that it’s someone from the bureau. As I said , I understand her motivations. Still it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The director should have at least made it clear that she was significantly conflicted abt her actions. She says she is , but But so far I don’t see that from the way her character behaves.

Still early into this ,but I’m having a hard time rooting for the FL. I understand her motivations but I honestly can’t stand by her duplicity, especially to the family of the one who was willing to help her. Maybe I’ll change my mind later , if I continue.

Looks like my reply is gone , but to reiterate, I don’t disagree with any of this. The point of my initial comment wasn’t the romance. the lack of romance was an hypothesis on how I’m failing to connect with the drama when I like the cast. The main point is that it’s just not doing it for me, so far, as I am still watching. And that’s okay.

I’m still trying to finish ep12. The chemistry usually can be felt even before any romance fully develops. For example not sure if you watched love like the galaxy from the moment they met they had chemistry, they were no real romance until towards the end of the drama. Or even the male lead previous drama blossom.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me . Or I should be grateful that they didn’t try to match them up early when he is supposed to be her “ancestor”. I’ll keep watching

I’m struggling to pay attention ,I really like the cast and wish it was a bit more exiting. Maybe it’s because I don’t see their chemistry. The family and friendship angle is pretty cute though
