Their couple is number one in china cps list, what are you talking about, their chemistry is the best among all…
The chemistry they have does not even come close to her usual male lead, at least until the god arc. From the beginning he felt too young to me maybe his acting, or their level of comfort at the start. There is a clear difference between both arcs and I don’t think I’m the only one who noticed it? Anyway we are all entitled to our opinion and mine is not swayed by what the fans think.
Why do they have 5x more chemistry in the god arc than they had in the rest of the show? Should have come sooner 😩 I was wondering if he was the only lead bai Lu had no chemistry with
Complexity is good, but the writing has to be good as well. Complex alone means very little if it's not done well.…
Only one of them is the same really,… and people ´s emotional growth can be stunted because of trauma. We still don’t know what DH went trough after he left because he is lying about it. Their communication is shity for sure but some of the comment here feel like they just want fluf, which is fine but shouldn’t be the main goal of a story portraying abuse. I’m curious how they address DH coming to term with his pain and wrap this up all in 2 ep but I guess we will see.
People can’t enjoy complex stories and characters anymore … “Oh hey how dare you still be traumatized by your abusive childhood that almost led you to become a murderer when you have such a lovely oppa near you …”
labeling a "queer" story as bl or not bl isn't an issue. the issue is that bl fans face ridicule for their media…
The interpretation is changing but at its core “ Boys' love: A genre of media that features romantic relationships between male characters. It originated in Japan and is often created by and for women.” Thats what people refer to when they say it’s not BL.I objectly think that this is not fitting in that mold but again opinions can be varied. I agree. And I never said you were not respectfully expressing your opinion. We both are. My initial comment was meant for the unhinged take I saw some people had.

I watch bls … and I can confidently say this is not bl. I don’t think most of the people saying that are ridiculing . The only reason they know the difference is because they watch bls. And you can disagree with me but let’s honest . The majority of what we call bl out there , now are quick pieces of entertainment put together with minimal plot to gather engagement from fangirls . They use to be better years ago but now only a few per year truly shine. You can’t be mad that people are saying this is superior. But I agree no reason to ridicule people for their taste
I never said BL's are garbage, I enjoy plenty myself. But not every gay or queer drama has be scene through the…
They are not. BL is a genre that was meant to entertain fujoshis , girls. It’s changing now but at its core the goal was never to explore real queer identities or issues. A lot of queer people don’t watch it for that reason. Again it’s changing but they are just not the same.trust me there other people in the world other than conservative or people who like bl.
As someone who watches bls, I don’t see the problem with people referring to this as not bl. I enjoyed the show and quite agree. Nothing wrong with enjoying fluff or more nuanced exploration of a queer identity. Just because your taste doesn’t align with someone else doesn't mean you need to prove them wrong. the way some of y’all are reacting in the comments is quite puzzling.
omg Towards the ending that dwindled for you was where my tears and emotions starting going wild. ahhh😭
I also found them emotional but I was comparing them to the start I personally think the slow down of the last few episodes were on purpose. They were not meant to be exiting , just like how their relationship was not , GY even used the word dull to describe it. You can still love something and not find excitement from it. That’s how I feel about those episodes. They’re still great though. I think the team did a good job making us feel what the reality of the situation. All round an easy 9.5 from me and a sure rewatch.
Completed. I told sunset abt you is still my favorite; hard to beat the intensity that it packed in such a short run. but this comes close, ep 1-5 were stellar. It fizzles a little bit from 6 onward but I feel like it a great representation of growing up. When young we constantly look for excitement while trying to Learn as much from the universe as we can. As we evolve we realize that the mundane is inevitable and come to peace with it.
I hope this isn’t reduce to being seen as just a BL, it’s not. It’s an exploration of growth and loneliness. I hope people who are not interested in the genre still watch it. Give it a chance.
Just finished ep 4 and this might actually surpass I told sunset about you in my heart. Such a raw and moving portrayal. Hope it stays as great through the end
Should have come sooner 😩

Great world building but it lost steam by the end

Be a masterpiece. The main actor is a gem.
Hope it stays as great through the end
