I am perplexed by the low rating. Beyond the absurdity and quirkiness , what shines through is the ability of the director/screenwriter to pull us in this world that they created. I had my doubts about Nam Joo Hyuk and his ability to match Yoo Mi but he is effortless here. This is probably the first drama of his where I was unable to see the model in him. I debated between a 9 and 9.5 but dramas like this are such a breath of fresh air in a sea of cliche. It is my opinion that this deserves a higher rating.
The pace is not an issue for me. This would have been an easy 9 if I cared more about the secondary characters. Sadly I had no interest in the niece and Husband. Its almost as if they were just there as plot devices to make things move forward. A missed opportunity overall but still a good drama.
Yes, its not the most polished show but it was pretty cute IMO. Lets see what ep 2 has to offer. I also enjoyed it much more than the first ep of why r u. I am sure it'll get better.
phenomenal writing - not sure why I see people dissatisfied with the ending? A lot is implied but honestly I like…
Also, the age gap was always there.its implied that they get together when she gets older and its extremely wholesome to see her put their safety before her happiness.
Thank you.

A lot is implied but honestly I like the guessing games
