Just finished watching this drama and personally the story that I liked best was of The Crown Prince, Crown Princess & Other Woman. Second would be the initial story of Prince #2 and his fiance/wife's tale.
More than the main leads' (The Princess and Her Admirers and Her Secret).
Details: In fact the whole tale of the Crown Prince and Princess, and their privacy being ignored reminded me of a scene from the show The Reign. I kind of had read about that this was a common practice to witness and record their private lives as they were responsible for the heir of the throne. Liked how this show depicted the emotional turmoil both characters faced, and eventually doing what is best (a show of women empowerment in Joseon era). In my mind this could be a very interesting plot theme/reason and I am hoping to write a story based on this as I usually do with drama or plots that are memorable.
Anyways - long story short, theirs was a story more cohesive and intriguing than that of the main leads IMO.
Another great article - thank you for sharing it @Badass Bunny! I personally love this theme of star-crossed lovers, and the one shown in "Tomorrow" is one of my favorites (so much so that I have written a spin-off / inspired story for it).
I think am gravitated towards this theme given it is one the most purest and strongest forms of love, that of course can only be found in fictional tales. To be able to overcome difficulties and meet, love again and again, just makes the romantic in me go giddy with happiness and smile ear-to-ear!
I love the dream casting - especially the Korean one. Personally while I love Yamazaki Kento (he's literally synonmous with J-entertainment), I feel the other ML contenters could be (at least in my mind I imagined - the below, ranked): 1) Sugino Yosuke 2) Ren Meguro 3) Sakaguchi Kentaro
Guess the ML's father (who is missing) was the last teacher was the advisor for the Student Council in 2003. And since then there hasn't been one until the FL now (as shared by the Baek Gwang Do [Superintendent])
Looks like the mystery has come a full circle...
The plot has thickened but so far I find the romance angle unnecessary and not impactful, but let's see.
I feel annoyed to see and hear Se Young. It actually means that she's living her character than well through her acting. Kudos for that - but still super annoyed at her hyena laugh and constant screaming.
Ji Seok almost strangling her was so satisfying - I really want the character to get b-slapped hard before she comes to her senses. This is just my emotional annoyance with her character....sigh!
Did anyone else also notice that there's a BGM in this drama that is very similar to BBC's Sherlock Homes (Benedict).
I heard it occassionally especially in scenes where the characters are outsmarting the enemies. Eg: when Dongju transfers the money in Ep 3 but we know he is going to hack the system soon, or Ep 4 when bearded guy Jang removes his beard - it is that music playing in background.
feel free to kick your feet with us while we swoon over the lead soon!
hahahahaha - reminded of the song lyrics "I am only human" as I have no power before these leading men of K-drama, making me melt / swoon without any warning!
why are so many good dramas airing at the same time? how am i supposed to find time and watch them when they air and then have the patience to wait a WHOLE WEEK!
Really pushing the limits and holding off to start this one as I continue to watch and fawn over - Seo Kang Joon and Park Hyung Sik every weekend. Adding Kang Tae Oh will spell disaster for my heart and ovaries - OMO-OMO-OMO!!
P.S: But am loving that people are appreciating the drama - the rating will improve P.P.S: I am known to have a weak willpower when it comes to drama, so maybe I will soon be editing this very comment next week as I go ahead and self-destruct myself with the handsome threesome - SKJ, PHS, KTO (wink) ...LOL! I am becoming more and more like my PFP character

Some of it is there - the way she held her own against Myeong Su (Se Yeong's mother) when she came to her house the water and slap-stop scene.

Just random observations . . .

It is similar to Sherlock's "The Game is On" : https://youtu.be/bvN5B4KFazs?si=3hU3xXiUOr13M1Wf&t=70

For a moment I thought he went to military a year earlier...
