Eunnam's been made to practice the word "Dongju-ah" to perfection. Cause that is all she says with conviction. But that is also my cue to tune/zone out from the scene cause unfortunately the FL has been made insignificant to the plot.
Great Article but adding some of my favorites (which could be typical favs for many):
1) Dae Joo & Veronica Park - The Secret Life of My Secretary (2019) *My PFP needs to be #1 2) Secretary Cha & Yeong Seo - Business Proposal (2022) *cute AF* 3) Ga Eul & Yi Jung - Boys over Flowers (2009) *oldie but goldie* 4) Grim Reaper & Sunny - Goblin (2016) *my personal fav couple of show*
Ep 84:1) Ji Seok turning away from Se Yeong was AMAZING! I was fist pumping when that scene ocurred. I hope there…
I said the above and Ep 85 dropped.
Myeong Ji and Se Yeong are so despicable and have such a superiority complex. They have acted it well, but truly one of the most evil characters in dramaland. Really hope they get a dose of their own medicine.
Ji Seok and Richard Han confrontation and truth is going to be hard...
I came to type here that this actor needs main lead roles, and I can see already so many comments sharing the same sentiment.
Have seen him in so many dramas as the support role and he is so memorable with his acting and looks. Really hoping he is cast as the main male lead soon in a great project - he truly deserves the exposure!
I cannot help but be gravitated towards stories like these. It is always emotional and when am crying no matter how the ending it, I always wonder why I watch them in the first place. Like I saw Move to Heaven and Tomorrow, they are painful and yet make you smile with the way they portray themes of life and death, so beautifully. It is a universal truth that we cannot escape.
Added with a love story - we know it will be tragic, and yet we watch and hope for a happy ending. Not sure how this drama is going to end - but with just 2 episodes it has definitely captured my attention. I love the switchbacks - so far they have been done well and I can follow the story seemlessly.
But 2 eps per week, is too long a wait and am impatient to know it all unfolds...
P.S: I think it is not subbed well - good thing is now as a K-drama addict I can understand what they are saying but would still like to know the actual words LOL. Anyone knows which platform has this drama with complete subs ?
Ep 84: 1) Ji Seok turning away from Se Yeong was AMAZING! I was fist pumping when that scene ocurred. I hope there are no U-turns. 2) I feel bad for Eun Chong - poor kid has to pay for adults' actions. 3) I hope it is not there but given the theme of this drama - I am sure there will be accidents, white truck of doom, hospital near death scenes for sure for some of our main characters ... 4) I really like how it is all moving towards the conclusion. This is my first daily drama and I really hope it ties up well
1) So glad to confirm that Dongju is not the Chairman Cha's illegitimate/secret son. 2) Happy to know that many of us were right in guessing that Dongju is Ildo's son. And it makes the whole story so much more tragic that both father and son are hell bent on killing each other due to misunderstandings. 3) Above point makes me wonder why Mr Yeom is such a psycho/sadistic man? Like I get it he did all this to get Ildo under his thumb but still, so damn weird. 4) I am loving the story but I feel we are now going in circles that are dragged out. This drama would have been more crisp had it been for 12-14 episodes.
I haven't watched the last 4 episodes. I guess I'm bracing myself. You'll find out real quick this isn't a drama…
Yes, I think I have seen the entire drama through the social media posts.. It is literally everywhere and unavoidable. Hence I am going to give myself time and then watch it later. At present it will be too overwhelming...
Buried Hearts...more like Buried Family Origins! Theories/Questions under spoiler tag as first comment. Someone…
1) The DNA Report that Ildo gets before killing is most likely fake 2) Dong Ju's name was Cha Seong Hyeon. His mother was Gyeong Won. - But who was she? - And how did she know Sunho, Deokhui, Ildo, Kang Seong, Yeom's wife? - And why her son is carrying the surname Cha? - Could she also be another mistress of Chairman Cha and therefore it makes Seong Hyeon/DongJu the Chairman's son? - Was it why Deokhui wanted to kill the mother and him? - OR cause she suspected that Gyeong Won was having an affair with her husband - Sunho? - Which is why she wanted them all dead? - Could Deokhui be working with Yeom, and in past too took his help for the white truck of doom? - Coould Yeom have used this situation to provide fake DNA test, thereby making Ildo kill them all? - He could have evidence of it and which is why Ildo is his pawn? 3) Eunnam is either Sunho's and Deokhui's daughter and Dong Ju is Gyeong Won and Chairman Cha's son OR Dong Ju is Ildo's son but he does not know OR Eunnam is actually Deokhui and Ildo's daughter and Sunho and Gyeong Won were actually having an affair that led to Dongju.
I have soft corner for stories like this, and this has been on my list since long. Have been telling myself that I'll start it when it ends so that I can binge it in one-go. It ended today and the finale has aired and am still not sure how to start it.
It is because the trailers (of various parts) and the videos on social media have made me tear up - in a happy way. You know when the story and concept is so good it makes your throat become a bit heavy, your eyes slightly tear up and you have a silly smile breaking your face.
I have not yet seen the drama but already felt the power of it. Will mentally prepare myself to begin this drama - as I know it will be a part of me for a long time, and it will make me want things that I have deliberately put aside.
Looking forward to this slice-of-life drama, and kudos to the cast and crew of this show. Have not seen it but can make out that it is one of the best ones out this year!
Whoever is reading this please do not take it in a bad way, am geniunely curious. So I thought that I was seeing this actor - Choi Shang for the first time in Cinderella Game. I thought he was good and wanted to check his other works.
Turns out he's there in 2 other dramas that I have seen - School 2017 and Cinderella and the Four Knights. I really could not recall seeing anyone like him - and so went and did an image search Google.
He has changed soooo much - like I can a faint resemblance between Cinderella & 4 Knights and Cinderella Game look - but it is very different.
Has he gone under the knife, or something else (could be exercise for what I know) Just curious - and hence asking, because I usually pride myself for being able to spot familiar artists across drama/shows and this was geniunely surprising . . .

But can't wait for Part 2 - so glad our beloved second leads are getting their limelight
Cause that is all she says with conviction. But that is also my cue to tune/zone out from the scene cause unfortunately the FL has been made insignificant to the plot.
Really Terrible Writing for female characters!
1) Dae Joo & Veronica Park - The Secret Life of My Secretary (2019) *My PFP needs to be #1
2) Secretary Cha & Yeong Seo - Business Proposal (2022) *cute AF*
3) Ga Eul & Yi Jung - Boys over Flowers (2009) *oldie but goldie*

Mine does not have it and I saw another post sharing the same: https://kisskh.at/759511-a-week-before-i-die#comment-21482462
Guess will have to wait some more to have it properly subbed...

Like he is just a power hungry individual. Such a manipulative evil character for sure.

- Could Deokhui be working with Yeom, and in past too took his help for the white truck of doom?

Theories/Questions under spoiler tag as first comment. Someone please share your thoughts - I need some answers by now.

But Ep 11-12 finished strongly so overall a good drama - recommended!
