Love Jeon Bae Soo - he is one of the most memorable support actors in K-dramas. Plus, the dramas I have seem him in, he's always a loving/comedic father or father-like figure.
Therefore to see him as a jerk parent in this drama - is such shock! But kudos again for the terrific acting 👏 👏 👏
The story has ended, no season 3. Honestly the best adaptation of a manga I have ever seen.

Asian dramas are also following suit - what used to be 16-20 episodes in one season, is also getting divided into multiple seasons.
I had my eyes on Gannibal since the start but I wanted to wait for S2. But must applaud your and everyone else's patience for holding out. It is super difficult with the ever hanging threat that the season can get cancelled as well...

I'm not a hardcore fan of the series but somehow find the show quite addictive. Just answering regarding your first part - Si Eun's character ability to fight seeming weak...I am still halfway in the show but I also felt it and I feel it could be because of the guilt he is carrying on what he did in S1.
Like somewhere he is giving all his might as the weak hero but mentally also holding himself back.
Not sure if this true, but this is how I interpreted his character's change in the 2 seasons.
Lee Jun Young is so F-ing talented! And that smile - oh man, it can look/mean so different depending on the setting. In his rom-com characters, it looks so freaking cute and then its the same smile in dramas like this where he plays a bad/psycho character and it looks super dangerous/eerie/creepy.
I have been seeing him in so many projects but I really want a project in which he is cast as main lead - which leads him to be a superstar - household name like Lee Min Ho, Park Seo Joon, Song Joong Ki, Hyun Bin and likes.

While she looks great in that poster but she also does not look like the Soo Young we know. She's always had a cute, vivacious, bubly style about her - this one looks very intense, like a game avataar...
Firstly, it is a bit risqué compared to what we know K-dramas to be. Secondly, the story is not that great in my opinion, espcially of the main characters and given they take the major screentime, it can quickly get super boring.
Like I mentioned above the secondary and tertiary stories were more interesting but the total screentime they had would amount to at max 2 full episodes.
So honestly - I would not recommend the show. But if you have nothing else to watch and don't mind fast forwarding or watching at 2x speed just cause you need something mindless - then give it a try.
Thought I'll recommend some other good dramas of similar historical genre which would be a better use of your time.

Yes, even if we discount the fact that her initial lie happened cause she was a little girl and got scared how about the times she acted bad as a grown up. And not all of the actions taken were instigated by her mother - and even if they were, just like how she is having the reflection and guilt, why did she not have it before?
That time her goal was to make use of her Aunt and others around her to get the best for herself. Hard to lookover it - something which the other characters (Goo Siblings, especially) should not have done...

Exactly and so the last episodes while add to the flow of the story (cause someone has to do the revelation) but it seems so unsatisfying. Tbh, she too should endure punishment of some sort - not for maybe what she did as a young girl, but what she did as a grown up. It is not something one should overlook overnight just because she helped with the evidence.
Guessed it long ago, glad that it is unfolding now - Se Young would be Myung Ji's Achilles Heels and reveal it all.

I think we have pretty much scene her do bad/evil stuff on her own as she grew up. I hope the ending is satisfactory on all ends - the good and bad characters all get their due.
Also - I want more Eun Chong - cutie has had minimal screentime last few weeks. I stayed in this drama for ending and him!

Just finished Ep 2 - and I have really good feeling about this show! Jaebal, don't dissappoint. I know it is too early to say so, as I have had my expectations killed by many promising dramas. But with such a strong cast, great story premise and short format - it better do well!
In terms of emotions the writers are really doing it well. Giving us doses of heavy emotions of life and death, sprinkled with some great comedy! I mean SSK's expressions are muaahhh and then they turned it around to a emotional level with the pet/pet owner scene - like OMG! SO SO GOOD!
I just came to check if this inspired by a webtoon/manga etc cause I REALLY want to know WHAT Happens NEXT!

Just finished Ep 1 - and given how I've been looking forward to this show + the fact that I love shows like this that have themes of life/death and thereafter = really hoping that this becomes one of the best shows of 2025.
Shows like - Tomorrow, Move To Heaven, are already my favorites in similar genre. Plus I just finished Way Back Love. So I know while this seems to be a comedy on the surface, I know there would be deep, emotional scenes/episodes ahead.
Anyways cannot wait - while am very familiar with the two main female leading ladies, I think this is my first drama where am seeing Son Suk Ku as the romance lead. Excited - he's always been a great actor - and this triplet is bound to be good!
