It has been quite sometime, since I have pulled an all-nighter to binge a drama. Probably as most new dramas are released weekly or have multiple seasons, but this is short, crisp medical drama packed with comedy, action, and emotions—no dull moments. I love that each episode has its own story/cases while maintaining an overarching plot.

Story Summary:
At the heart of Trauma Code: Heroes to the Call is Baek Kang-hyuk (played by Ju Ji Hoon), the quintessential hero who navigates life-and-death situations with remarkable skill and charm, all while challenging the hospital’s profit-driven priorities. Initially met with resistance from seasoned doctors, Kang-hyuk's idealism gradually influences and transforms their perspectives. It’s not just a one-man show; Kang-hyuk also fosters the personal growth of his aides, Jae-won and nurse Cheon Jang-mi.

Acting:
The cast and crew deliver outstanding performances, each with meaningful character arcs. However, the three standout roles are Baek Kang Hyuk, Yang Jae Won, and Cheon Jang Mi. Ju Ji Hoon continues to impress since his Goong days, while this is my first drama of Choo Young Woo he captures attention with his remarkable acting - and am going to watch more of his works. The rest of the cast enhances the narrative, providing substantial support to the main leads as either allies or adversaries.

Overall:
If you haven’t started this drama yet, you’re missing out! This is not your typical medical drama; it's infused with unfiltered comedy, larger-than-life action sequences, and a satirical take on how money influences people.
