5-6 not as good as 1-4, mostly because of Yeonwoo’s slightly too extreme change in personality (someone who likes themselves -100 asking « how cute am I teehee » is too abrupt for me) and some confusing parts like their first kiss scene, some missions (why does Yeonwoo need fame?) and why Myungha let the stalker go. If I understood correctly they’re going off the webtoon’s script now, might be why. Still looking forward to the last two episodes!
I had a pain medication induced big brain thought. Myungha and Yeonwoo having such a similar background isn’t a coincidence. Myungha’s senior who wrote the novel actually drew inspiration from Myungha’s life to write Yeonwoo. Myungha didn’t commit suicide but maybe his senior has witnessed him being depressed for 10 years. Sending Myungha to help Yeonwoo be happy is also sending him to help himself, which is why the mission goals are taken directly from Myungha’s answers.
Welp, after ep 6 and the preview of ep 7 I’m afraid it’s back to the drawing board.
Phee is Non’s lover, Tan is Non’s brother, together they planned the revenge. Jin actually got together with Phee to break him and Non up. White is just unfortunate collateral. I can’t wait to have to revise all of that after ep 7!
Why do I have the scary feeling that Myungha will set Yeowoon with Sangwon since he can’t stay forever in the game and the goal is to make Yeowoon happy, but not necessarily happy with Myungha you know…
Absolutely not a single, lonely complaint about anything whatsoever so far. Acting, music, romance, cinematography, pacing, running time, everything is ten out of ten.
Okay I gotta bitch a bit or it doesn’t feel right. There’re a couple of approximate translations, for instance Myungha didn’t say “I’m gay, so what” but “So what if I were” which doesn’t confirm he’s gay and his embarrassment later (talking about the kiss and when he dreamed) makes more sense if you know that.
Everyone is doing a great acting job and I want Non, White and Phi in my pocket, stat. This is the airing series I enjoy the most at the moment! I had been waiting for a horror BL for so, so long.
Well, if they're trying to make it so I don't care about these kids getting picked off by a masked murderer they're…
I suspect that Phi, White or Tan are the person registered as "❤" in Non's phone and/or Non's big brother. As for who is helping Non take the garbage out and whether Jin will be spared or not, I've got no idea.
Ok, ep 6 was sweetness incarnate and Tay is doing a great job in the emotional scenes. Last week's awkwardly public confession is forgiven. It's quite amazing how they managed to make every character in this series a wholesome, likeable grade A green flag, each in their own way.
The Japanese version really was Japanese style, and this version really is Thai style, it's an interesting starting point to compare those two flavours of BL. The Thai version is a bit less realistic, less mature, and lacks the wacky humour Japan knows how to do so well. But the Thai version also fixed the uncomfortable second couple, doesn't have Adachi rely on mind-reading as much and (hopefully) won't shy away from outright romantic interactions. Anyway, very cool to see the differences unfold!
If we get flashbacks of the secondary couple in high school being playing by the same grown-ass actors I have to start practicing self-control right now. There's no way I won't laugh the whole way through otherwise.
This is either going to be a heavily softened version that will piss off the fans or a hot mess that will horrify the average BL watcher. I can't wait either way!
i'm pretending at least half of ep 11 and 12 didn't happen,, i love the main couple so much im making my own ending…
Your thoughts are literally mine, and I watched week by week, so. I’m really hoping someone will fix the last two eps mess in a fanfiction as well. Hell I’m so mad they ruined such a good couple and character development opportunity that I might do it myself!
Idgaf about the age gap and power imbalance but the characters’ mismatched (and not in a good way) personalities and literal instalove don’t sit right with me. The desultory plot doesn’t help either. Since we live in a glorious age of BL abundance I can freely drop this to focus on something more to my taste, bless. PS: I will say that some scenes were very aesthetically pleasing though, good job filming crew.
