Okay, sue me but I don't want Kanghan to become good too fast. Can he have a half-asshole phase and apologise to Sailom before we enter the nice guy stage please? I want slow burn, dilemmas, tension and ambiguity! Give me all the bittersweet before the fully sweet!
I agree, he doesn't seem overly protective. Even his reaction in episode 2 felt lacking.
Right??? He was more busy asking Kanghan who he is, never asked if his brother is ok. I thought it was bad writing/acting but since that's fine in all the other scenes, it might be foreshadowing...
I am surprised how this show as thrown all harsh reality of life. I don't understand how people are like this…
I was laughing my ass off the whole time the loan shark boss was on screen. Pepper's a major miscast, but they needed the character to be handsome and youthful because of the romance with Sailom's brother I guess.
It's a good thing Kang turned a corner in this episode because up until now the tutoring he needed was in how…
Nothing you said is wrong lmao. But in Perth's defense: poor guy is doing his best to work with his teddy bear face ok? π The one I can 0% take seriously is Pepper as a heartless loan shark... man has the cutest lisp I mean come on. πππ
I love all those fake outs, shit never goes down how I expect it to. Perth plays the enamoured tough guy so well, ugh, just the 2 seconds of it-ish we got in ep 2 filled my heart to the brim. I can't wait to see Kanghan's evolution (into a softie let's be real hahaha).
God... Thai's actor does a good crying. :'( I just wish Thee's actor had kept up a bit, he's always so emotionless. That worked when he was just the bodyguard and had to behave, but since they were alone he could have at least, I don't know... frowned a bit to show he's moved or something? And their escape was risible, but they're so cute together I'll forgive it.
Finally some concrete development for Tinn and Charn! But someone please throw serenading scenes and bed scene plushies out of BL's for good or I swear to god!
Feels a bit late in the game for Charn to make a comeback as the power-hungry, morally grey character, but I guess they need it to trigger the big falling out between the two main leads. Hopefully after that they will finally get together and not just at the end of the last episode. Actually, if they already got together (or at least got closer than flirting), the big falling out would have more impact. I hope they manage that part well, otherwise hello waste of chemistry of the century.
But more than that, I hope some action happens. I'm not picky, give me, I don't know... hostages? Children in danger? A smitten bodyguard saving his employer's son at the last second from committing patricide then eloping with him?
