Do you mean because of Our Skyy? Because that's for Fish Upon the Sky. Or did they announce a separate special…
I would much rather have it be for this one. It gives me some hope about the ending, too, since I was worried Pond might die. (They love to kill the "top" character in stuff like this specifically, lol.)
Perth didn't do anything to Saint since that seems to be what you are referring to. The management at his old…
Perth is friends with Earth. They hang out and take photos together, and Earth doesn't strike me as a shrinking violet. So either Perth wasn't one of the people who bullied him, or if he was, he's clearly grown and made amends. I hope he didn't actually do those things, but if he did, if Earth can forgive him, we should try to do the same. I understand being wary, and I hate the idea of homophobia and bullying, but we're not allowing people to grow when we shut them down indefinitely.
I was so smitten by this beauty in Bad Buddy. Wish he had a more prominent role.
Check out his new line up! He's even in a new ship with Neo! I felt the same way, and I'm so excited for his upcoming roles. He's in like five new BL, and he's in a romantic scenario in at least two of them, possibly three(?).
This looks freaking amazing. I know it'll probably make me cry (though hopefully we have happy endings generally, or at least satisfying ones), but I can't wait! Also, super happy for Neo. He's adorable in his ship with Louis, but I'm excited to see him with someone new. More than that, I'm looking forward to this dark new role. It's so far from the types he usually plays.
Plus, FirstKhaotung already! They've both been around a bit, but they're finally settling into a ship! I understand now why nothing else stuck, because their chemistry is perfect. Even as much as I love Gawin/First, this just feels so right for him.
So Neo has a new pair apparently! I'm excited for him. And I'm so, so happy OffGun has another show! Even if I wish it were more grown up and complex, I'm just happy they're going strong. They're basically the only OG ship still actively working, though it's great to see TayNew resurface next year too.
Well, Ohm is not the only male lead. Maybe some of the other guys are gonna be gay?
No worries! I think we're all kind of reeling after the announcements, haha. Ooh, really? Okay, well I added it to my upcoming BL list regardless. I hope we're not being bamboozled. But there were so many friends that I have to hope there's a chance. I hope someone clarifies for us soon though.

I know he's not, and I didn't say he was. He was the only one with hints toward a relationship at all, which is why I singled him out. But I said everyone else was ambiguous. By "everyone else," I meant the other male and female leads.
There wasn't anything in the trailer that suggested there'd be anything but het pairings. I would love for there to be a gay pairing, I was just wondering where the person got that. Like do they have info that wasn't provided on the 2023 projects show? Or did they guess based on something they noticed? Maybe I missed something.
I think this may have been mistagged. I hope not and that I just missed something, but I was under the impression that this was gonna be het. I'd love if there were some gay in there too, but it seemed to hint that Ohm was gonna be in yet another het love triangle, and everyone else was sort of ambiguous. Could have been intentionally misleading, though.
Sorry, I don't understand what you're asking. Are you talking about my profile picture? It's from Close Friends, Ohm and Fluke (one of the more prolific ships, they have like seven shows together).
Okay, saw the short film, and other than the same cast, there's no way this is based on the short. Like rich kid, okay, and prostitutes, okay, but the short was super symbolic and definitely can't translate to what the movie is supposed to be about. I would love to see a movie where they aren't all dying though, so... here's hoping this still comes!
You can watch this on GaGaOOLaLa now, for all of those wondering. At least as of 11/10/22.
I ended up dissecting the hell out of this short and accidentally wrote an essay, lol, so if you're confused by the film, stay tuned. I have a point by point argument for its meaning coming soon, though I touched on it a bit in the comments already.
and how you can die young if you're not privilaged. BTW. Kokoy plays two parts here. One of them, the romantic…
I don't think he was either of those things. As I said in a comment below, I think the last person we see is someone using Kokoy's phone to lure in other young boys to a similar fate. The movie was highly symbolic, so it isn't actually Kokoy he's seeing as he hesitantly approaches.
I don't think that was the case at all. I mean, that's an element of it, but I think the film was about the dark…
As for the love interest, I believe the fact that he looked like Kokoy was very significant. My impression was that whoever had killed those young prostitutes was using Kokoy's phone to lure in more boys to prey on. The point of Elijah's character was that he was innocent and protected, but because he couldn't freely love and court boys at his school, etc. due to social prejudice, he ended up on a path that led him to a catfish that would end his life. The final encounter of the two doesn't suggest relief or safety for Elijah. He nervously walks to Kokoy, and Kokoy has a dark expression on his face, as the real Kokoy dies in the background.
It's definitely a film that makes you go, "What? What the hell did I just watch?" But if you think about it, the pieces are all there. The phone call at the beginning, the fact that Kokoy doesn't know Elijah, the confusion with where the phone is ringing.
Also, a big part of the theme is the dead boys rotting in the street like garbage, and no one cares. These boys ended up where they are because society failed to protect them, and when they inevitably end up destroyed, that same society is indifferent to them because they were the unwanted.
