I don't remember what episode but she trying to make Lee Jong Suk's character promise he would never try to kill the bad guy. I think it was sometime before her mom died. But I'm not sure. This line had quite an impact on me.
By the time I was done with ep 13, this dialogue Jang Hye Sung said in I hear Your Voice kept popping into my head "Even if you want to kill him, don't. Then all the justifications will disappear. The moment we kill him, we're no longer victims, we become murderers."
I don't like her acting and I don't like her role either. I like the other girl who gave No Ra the video ^^ She's so nice and pretty and down to earth. Even helped No Ra with a part-time job.
I'm so happy Yeo Jin is finally getting stronger! I have been waiting for this to happen. It's high time she returns to her rightful place instead of running away. Telling the secretary to kneel was a classy move.
Seriously though, with all the intestines being sewed and the baby's being pulled out of the womb, it is impossible to eat while watching the show. lol.
I feel her brother is not all that bad. I mean, he's got a lot of issues he tried to resolve in a very negative…
But their ultimate goal is power and money and they are not sugarcoating their greed. The brother is on some kind of personal revenge. He is not the logical type that you're talking of. He (quite surprisingly) runs on deep emotions and resentment which only come from loneliness. And while somebody as strong-willed as Hitler is a true sociopath, you cannot put everybody in that category. People change all the time and emotions are more powerful than one can imagine.

But remember how guilty and unsure his eyes looked when he claimed "He died because he didn't listen to me". Look, I'm not saying he's the good guy. And I'm not saying he won't do worse things in the following episodes. But I think he's not an outright bad guy who feels no psychological impact of his wrong doings. He is a human being caught in the web of greed, but he has his own moments of conscience. I just hope he finds some kind of peace. He does deserve punishment but he also deserves a second chance after he pays for what he did.

Yes, that is why I am saying that he is not good. But at the end of the day, he DOES NOT have any blood on his hands not because he made someone else kill Yeo Jin but because Yeo Jin is still alive. So there is a chance to repent and be a good person. If Yeo Jin had been dead that would have been another story.
I also feel that the reason somebody like President Go has been introduced in the drama is to compare the brother to someone who is even more vile.

If you look closely, real close, you will realize he hasn't murdered anyone, not in the truest sense. His father refused surgery all by himself. Yeo Jin is not dead. Also, the rest of the people have been ordered to be killed by President Go. Go has been making all the calls lately.
I'm not saying he's not in the wrong. He has done a lot of bad deeds. But if he is willing to change in the end, he does deserve a second chance and a do-over. But if he does something that he cannot come back from, nobody can help him.
I feel her brother is not all that bad. I mean, he's got a lot of issues he tried to resolve in a very negative way (by putting Yeo Jin in a coma and then killing her) but when we look back at his childhood, the way his father treated him and the way his wife didn't give him a second glance when they first met. All that has been building up anger and loneliness within him for a long time. And you can see he has his own moments of guilt and regret, even though he quickly covers it.
I like how his wife is not afraid of him and he knows her game but still doesn't do much. I actually ship them and hope they have a good relationship by the end of the show. Because both of them are so love-deficient, they need to move on and be happy.
I am not saying what he did was right. But I hope he becomes better in the end and Yeo Jin forgives him and his wife loves him. I just feel a little sorry for him.
