I hate Jerry Yan's character, the way he's treating the girl, so immature. But when I see their back flashes, my heart melts and I feel sorry for him. He kind of wore his love on his sleeves and got his heart broken anyways. Hope they get back together soon! ^^
Episode 6 was so good. I love how they found a friend in each other (the last four episodes are solid evidence that both of them needed one desperately) and how their relationship is developing slowly. That sweet hug and when Yong Pal said "Nobody dies on my table". I was literally crying. This drama is so well-paced and well-crafted. My only problem is the cliffhanger!
I see most people are not liking this show (I didn't either) but for those who haven't watched the original show, I hope you give In Time With You a chance. It is a wonderful drama, so beautifully made. This drama lacks the soul that version had. Actors were great but here the characters weren't half as attractive as the Taiwanese version (not talking about looks here). They lacked the depth and were clinging onto the cliches and korean formula. I knew from the very beginning nobody could surpass Chen Bo Lin, but Choi Won could not even show the kind of pain and longing the character feels, covered with his kindness and devotion. The sub-plots were a huge strength of In Time With You but in this version they were something we could easily skip without feeling bad. And most importantly ARIEL LIN. Her character was was strong and bitchy but at the same time she was a good person. But (I love Ha Ji Won) Ha Na ruined everything. And as for the fiancee, he made my skin crawl in the original show (a good thing). But here I couldn't even take him seriously. I didn't care if he cheated and I didn't care if he got the girl.
Bottom line is, they took the characters (who were the strength of the original show) and turned them into the show's biggest weakness. They didn't include the slice-of-life aspect of In Time With You and simply turned into a cliche romance comedy drama.
I hope I convinced somebody to watch the original because it really shouldn't be judged by this show!
I marathoned the whole thing. It is so good, Joo Won is AMAZING. I mean, Kim Tae Hee hasn't even come to life (yet) and its already so awesome. Joo Won really knows how to carry a drama on his shoulders! Can't wait for the next episode!
I enjoyed the first few episodes but ultimately I feel they couldn't catch the essence of the original drama. They tried to make it more Korean and in the process ruined the whole thing.
1. I decided to watch this drama because I absolutely loved School 2013 and had great expectations from the sequel (which it lived upto)
2. My favorite character was (you don't even have to guess it) Tae Kwang. He was the best thing about this drama and the actor totally has a bright future ahead. My least favorite was Yi An. I could pick the bully but she was so important for the whole story and I loved her journey so I can't hate on her (even though I do hate her.). Yi An's character on the other hand was pointless and annoying in equal parts. Bad acting on top of it.
3. Tae Kwang is what I loved about this show. And that scene where he's like "Can't there be one person who calls you by your real name?". I don't think I'll ever get over it. All his scenes were epic.
4. DUHHH. I don't know anyone who didn't. This is the ultimate second lead drama.
5. It was really exciting when the whole class started hating on the bully girl. OH THE SATISFACTION.
6. I would go back for sure because I would keep thinking about those little babies at the orphanage. They loved her so much. I wouldn't feel guilty if I lied to the mom but the guilt of abandoning the kids would crush me.
7. Never considered dropping it. Loved my weekly dose of School 2015
8. I think they miscast Yi An but the rest of the cast was great.
9. Ending was hell disappointing
10. They forgot to mention that Yi An dies in a car crash and Eun Bi reunites with Tae Kwang and they get married and have babies.
11. 9 because despite the disaster that was the love-line, I loved the show overall and all the Tae Kwang moments.
The first two episodes were almost unbearable but things are picking up starting from ep 3. I wish I didn't know…
I actually finished and did enjoy it to a certain extent but the ending seemed forced. I mean, it didn't necessarily have to be a sad ending. Nevertheless I agree it was a beautiful drama and Rain's best performance :)
I like Choi Si Won but I hope she gets paired with Park Seo Joon this time! Even though Oh Ri Jin and Cha Do Hyun/Shin Se Gi were OTP, and I mostly shipped Oh Ri On with Ahn Yo Na (HAHA), I loved all the brotha-shishtaa moments XD
They both go on a diet? I'm not getting the catch here but anyways I'm looking forward to this! My first drama (ever) was I'm Sorry I Love You starring So Ji Sub so I've always loved him. That's practically first love. Haha ^^
