A webtoon artist and a snowboarder. A cute and tender couple.
Too bad that even here, parents are party popper's who interfere in their children's relationships and make them unhappy.
I wonder, are all Chinese girls this childish? I hope not.
I enjoyed watching these athletes train.
A fresh and youthful series, not a masterpiece but still a pleasant watch.

Work hard for your dream!

Finally I find another series that keeps me up until 3 a.m.!
The girl who fences, the poor boy who works hard to become a great reporter, as well as their 3 friends. All great characters and actors.
In this series I rediscovered friendship, sacrifices, love, dreams and more.
There are many teachings in there: perseverance in realizing one's dreams, the support of friends in difficult situations, the sacrifice of children to repay their parents, hard work to get results, the will to fight injustices even at the cost of paying a high price, for example.
I liked "Na Hee Do", this girl who makes decisions, gives wise advice and has admirable perseverance.
I also liked "Baek Yi Jin" in the role of the unlucky boy who, when rich, finds himself poor and fights against adversity to get back on his feet. When they say "the sins of parents fall on their children".
So touching, I cried a lot.
Just a small note on the ending which remains open. Who knows if there will be a sequel?

Right in this period where idols are under such pressure, I found this series particularly touching.
Haters and fans, depression, competition and jealousy/envy, lack of privacy and a "normal" life. As for this lawyer, bullied at school.
Here, a boy band singer is suspected of killing a classmate, and it's his die-hard fan, who is also a lawyer, who defends him.
The fact that the prosecutor was "pushed" to frame the suspect even though the evidence suggests otherwise highlights another problem: corruption. The hatred he harbored toward this poor lawyer, who personally bullied her in school, screams injustice.
This series exposes so many flaws in real Korean life.
The actor Kim Jae Young is used to playing unfortunate or strange kids, and here it fits. I also thought it was fitting that the actress Choi Soo Young who sings in the band Girl's Generations, was in her element, even though she's on the other side as a fan, in addiction to a defense attorney.

PS: The tickle tree really exists; it's called the Crape Myrtle, or Lagerstroemia. I learned something new.

The actor and the journalist

There's an actor who becomes famous after a difficult start. He's tired of playing the same role and the same character and wants a breakthrough.
On the other hand, there's a journalist who was transferred from the "political" department to the "entertainment" department without knowing the field.
They meet for an interview and can't stand each other.
For her career, she decides to get to know him better and starts watching all of his series. She becomes his fan.
As they continue to meet, they end up together and manage to shed light on an old murder case.

Lee Jung Jae can act really well, but I've often wondered what it would have been like with another actor playing this role. In fact, I found him and her to be unbelievable as a couple. I missed the chemistry between the two.

Bound by love, destiny will bring them together again

Romantic and touching moments alternate with more playful ones.
From episode 5, they begin to switch bodies and wake up in each other's bodies. I didn't really like this cliché at first, but it actually had its place, and seeing them play each other is remarkable. In this change of persona they were particularly good at acting.
The story itself could be summed up in one word: revenge.
All this mess of deaths, forced poisonings, escapes, and subterfuges started because of a thwarted love.
The question naturally comes to mind: "Have you ever thought of killing this left-wing minister?" It would have solved all the problems and there would have been fewer deaths. But apparently that wasn't possible, and the series would have ended.

PS. I found it "odd" that one character was named Cha Eun Woo, like the actor.

The prince who pretends to be the husband of the "enemy's" concubine, who has lost her memory, in order to set a trap for him. She, beautiful and intelligent, was meant to be just a expendable pawn, but she becomes his Love.
But when her memory returns, she feels offended by his lies and separates from him.
Even though he confesses that he truly loves her, she doesn't want to hear of it. He follows her, helps her silently, and refuses to remarry anyone but her. On the other hand, she appears adamant about getting back together with him, but it's undeniable that she cares for him.
Then there are two other couples, the emperor and empress, and the relationship between his friend and her friend, which are very tender.
The last three episodes, where they plot to unmask the traitor, were played poorly in the sense that they staged a whole charade to lure just one person into the trap (I went from 9* to 8*). Poisonings, incarcerations... if he wanted, the villain could have easily killed them and won.
I wasn't convinced.

Amnesia

He hires a secretary and discovers that he lost his memory five years earlier, just as he was proposing to her.
After a break at episode 10, I continue.
He regains his memory, falls in love with her again, then forgets her and fires her as his personal secretary, moving her to the archives. Meanwhile, she moves into the apartment he bought near his and wants to win him back. He succeeds, but discovers that his amnesia might recur and leaves her for her own good.
Meanwhile, the affair between her colleague and his doctor friend is getting on my nerves. I would have already given up on him! Let him keep his doctor.
By episode 19, I'm starting to get a little fed up; they're dragging on too long. Exasperating.
The last two episodes are hilarious.
I also liked the couple formed by her friend and his friend.

young married couple in 1936

The awkwardness and sweetness of a young couple who gradually get to know each other. So respectful and naive that they ask themselves a thousand questions before speaking to each other.
Sometimes the fast pace clashes with the slow pace of the story. You have to get into the right mood to watch this series.
The setting, jokes, costumes, and OST aren't Oscar-worthy, but the series is still tenderly.
The couple of friends are also lovely.

novel or real life? The power of love

Start by mentioning the title. It sounds like an edict. Who remembers such a long title to recommend it to a friend? A short one would have had more impact.

Two girls have a wish to change their lives at the same time, and one takes the place of the other.
The strange thing is that one is a character in a novel the other is writing.
But upon entering this new world, the "writer" falls in love with the male protagonist and he loves her back. To try to stick to the script, she tries to step aside, but then seizes the opportunity to enjoy this happiness, and so the script changes. At a certain point, however, they are in serious danger, and she manages to return "home" to rewrite the ending. At that point, they must decide whether to return to their roles or swap roles permanently.
Happy ending but nothing sensational.
I liked these main actors acting together also without special chemistry. Two singers, he's a member of 2PM and she's from Girl's Generation, but also good actors.

like a Fairy Tail

The male protagonist has always been a gentleman, his eyes are heart-shaped when he looks at his beloved.
His college classmate, on the other hand, was a real thorn in his side, too obsessive even in the face of evidence. The kind of person who uses her family's influence to climb the rankings without earning it. I would have fired her!
The issue of keeping the secret in the office was dragged on for too long. It was natural that they were discovered, but they were good at managing the situation and adapting to the new situation.
I liked seeing the understanding between boss and employee (Man-man, woman-woman). At work, they are each other's competitors while in life they support each other.
I loved her family and their relationship with their respective in-laws. I especially loved the pair "Rao Jing - Zhao Fang" between whom I could perceive a natural chemistry.
Who would have ever thought that Zhao would be so lovely and caring? A very pleasant surprise.

friendship

It all starts with a betrayed friendship and the circle closes with a friendship consolidated overcoming several difficult situations.
The OST and the plot are not that great and the ending seems left open for another season.
In this series, compared to many others I have seen, I often thought that it was a set and that they were acting. This happens to me when I can't immerse myself in the story. I don't know if I explained myself well.
Can anyone tell me why when they fall into a river, it seems as deep as the Mariana Trench? For me, certain saber blows would have been mortal wounds, but the next day they were already on the track. If the credit for all this was due to the ointment they used, then it is truly miraculous.

I love this team of 4 Korean actors/singers and also the fairytale destination: Lapland. A wild land full of lakes and nature.
In the first few episodes I laughed and smiled a lot. They too had fun and tried new things. Wild life: fishing, cooking outdoors, camping in tents, chopping wood, making fires, saunas... They have adapted to living in quiet places without WIFI and electricity. They had barbecues and activities such as reindeer yoga, husky walking, riding horses...
They met friendly Finns and ate local food like reindeer burgers.
I liked seeing the boy Cha Eun Woo and not the star version, his shyness and his childish pranks, as well as Kwak Dong Yeon a real countryman or Lee Je Hoon a little awkward or the citizen Lee Dong Hwi.
Disconnecting from their stressful life I think was a positive break. I was happy for them.

The start with the new invention of this elevator was surprising... Good OST but the plot a little less.
In short, this king wants to reunite the 5 clans at all costs and so with wars, blackmail and subterfuge, a lot of people die (including several characters I liked). Everyone looking for Fei Fan who doesn't even know if it is a man or a woman (?!) why was it so essential to find it? This girl who does everything to find these black stones and falls in love with the "enemy".
Loves, betrayals... I was very disappointed when she cheated on him.
She is as cunning as a fox especially in commercial deals, while he, the Wolf Lord in love and undoubtedly the most faithful man on the face of the Earth.
Even after he thinks she's dead or when she tells him to leave, he stays by her side and never gives up.
30 episodes was too long.

psychological drama

This series has decidedly strange and particular Plot. It makes us reflect on how toxic relationships exist and shows the perspective of those who see marriage as a pure employment contract.
With slow scenes, nude scenes and many strange situations. Half the time you ask yourself "why"... and you find yourself at high sea.
There is this obsessed control freak woman (no words) who claims to have everyone at her feet and treats them like slaves and pulls strings as if they were puppets.
She will find bread for her teeth with the new bride.
I honestly didn't understand the end. Both sad but divided? With everything they have experienced...

love-hate story

Their families were against each other, so they loved each other secretly. After 18 years a small flame of love is still alive and they will know how to fuel it to have a happy ending.
I liked the young and old couple actors.
I should probably stop watching new series where you have to wait for the weekly release of the episodes. I find that the atmosphere is lost and has to be recreated every time. Maybe I would have priced it more.
