I loved the cast, the plot, the OST and even the attire.
She's a very beautiful girl, and he's a charming, protective and skilled boy.
I love the small gesture of protecting her with his body in the cramped space of the elevator, for example. A special forces man with action skills.

Scenes I remember and that made me skip a beat:
- The scene of him with a Sailor Moon-style duvet... legendary;
- she runs in the rain chasing the truck to tell him to come back safe and sound;
- when she says goodbye silently, knowing he's reading her lips, saying, "I'll wait for you at home" (an intimate gesture, even if they probably don't realize it at this time);
- when she stops him from hitting the criminal, and then unexpectedly, she's the one slapping the bad guy, telling him, "Don't touch my man."

Excellent balance between scenes of private life/military training and missions/hospital life, with a bit of mystery serving as a common thread.

The arrival of his cousin was truly a wonderful addition. A strong character like a stray bomb.

I forced myself to pick up the series from episode 34 onwards, after seeing this poor special ops soldier tortured and left to fend for himself. I was so afraid I'd see even more cruel things.

The award goes to the doctor's friend, the journalist, who lets herself be used like an idiot and lies, hiding evidence to cover up for her lover.

Regarding the heart transplant, I would have preferred if the doctor hadn't raised her hand to vote in favor. Even if she hesitated, it was like giving in to the villain who had achieved his goal. Even if the mother was not guilty, perhaps there was someone more deserving of receiving it.

eternally blackmailed

A strong and intense beginning, then... it all went downhill.
To prevent a war between North and South Korea, a doctor was sent to North Korea to rescue a head of state, so that the United States wouldn't attack and start a war.
His son was kidnapped and forced to stay with his father in North Korea. South Korea denied them repatriation.
As time passed, the son also became a skilled surgeon.
Honestly, I don't know how he survived in this environment. He had a girlfriend who was forcibly taken by the authorities and locked up in a concentration camp. After many years of searching, he finally found her. His father allowed himself to be killed to allow his son to be free to make his own choices, and he, seizing the opportunity, fled with her to Hungary.

When he managed to return to South Korea, he was able to work in the same hospital where his father had worked to avenge him. Challenge after challenge...

There are so many things I can't explain:
- Do the female doctors work in 12-inch heels?
- Is it that easy to watch the surgeries live? It's like turning on the TV and connecting.
- Everything revolves around this fake competition to determine which of the two best doctors will perform the prime minister's heart surgery? Patients used as pawns. Terrible.
- What a shitty plan! To become president, the Prime Minister
is staging this whole charade? He's holding the doctor's mother hostage for decades just to force him to perform heart surgery on the president? Without killing him, but keeping him in a coma?
- This villain who was shot in the head by a professional killer is back? How is that possible?
- The president's behavior isn't what you'd expect.
- In the last episode, the North korean girl gets shot and falls off the bridge? I could understand they wanting to recall the previous time she'd fallen, but here she would have collapsed and not been thrown from the bridge.
-then the end... no comment.

Resilience, sacrifices to achieve a goal.

Like a drug! I watched all 33 episodes in a flash. (NB 35 only in TV programs).
This boy, a god of pair figure skating, after an unfortunate accident that forced him to switch disciplines, is seen struggling as a singles skater. But with the support of his better half and a lot of commitment, he doesn't let himself get discouraged and achieves his goal.
Meanwhile, she struggles to establish herself on the team and keep her passion a secret from her mother.
Her father, in this regard, will be formidable in keeping her side and acting as a peacemaker between mother and daughter.

A new beginning also for the female coach, who will be able to redeem herself from the shortcomings of the past.

Mixed feelings of admiration and anger toward the male coach, obsessed with helping this narcissistic athlete achieve success and using this innocent girl to do so. I also hated his sister. First she ruins the pair skater's career, then tries to steal him from his beloved with lies. Still not satisfied, she pretends to support him and even steals his spot at the audition with the new Russian coach. Dead cat!

The important thing is that this sweet couple didn't break up and managed to overcome difficult situations TOGETHER. Well done guys!

Sport and love, what a great combination.

Cinderella and her stepsister!

Fate plays with the lives of the protagonists, transporting them to the future to clarify the mystery of the past. We wonder why these 4 people ended up at this woman's house. Fate took care of it.
I watched the whole series with this weight and this feeling of immense INJUSTICE. A rage for this wicked stepsister who steals everything that belongs to her, always and at all times.
I found myself involved and participating, like I hadn't in a while. I railed against the bad guys, I criticized the protagonist for certain actions (for example writing SMS and then wanting to delete it but then accidentally sending it), I praised certain decisions (leaving home and keeping her cell phone off on certain occasions),...
The desire to see if karma would punish these bad people for their countless sins committed, pushed me to watch the entire series in a few days.
There’s also a twist in the last episode but towards the end (especially episode 17 and 18) for the PLOT I lowered the stars of the feedback.

Some things left me perplexed and others stunned:
- is it possible that the doors are always open and everyone comes and goes as they please? They come in, they turn the house upside down but they put on their slippers?
- is it possible that they are so stupid that even knowing that someone steals, lies, kills, they continue to trust and leave their phone, envelopes,... in plain sight.
- given that past and present are similar, is it possible that they don't add up to 1+1 and take so long to discover that the 2 are sisters?
- why did they never ask the mother who raised them who their biological mother was?
- I don't understand why their biological mother abandoned and didn't raise 2 daughters. The fact that 2 sisters grew up as stepsisters is strange.
- then I find that the 4 from Joseon, that is 300 years before, have settled in too well and quickly (they drive like experts, they know how to use technology, they speak like nowadays...)
- a detail that didn't make sense to me was when the wicked girl returned to him the handkerchief that she shouldn't have even known was lost.

cit. "What if our efforts didn't change anything?"

All this gratuitous violence inflicted on people who don't deserve it is disgusting! Going to school must be a nightmare for many students! Bully bastards are a really fucking problem of today's society.
The message I can read inside this series is that the winner is the one who hits the hardest and that with kindness you can only get away with it, which is not exactly a good thing.
The fact that this guy and his teacher want to change the situation and rehabilitate the school is a good thing but the plot is poor.
This guy wants only to study and he would fight a lot to succeed.
He seems like a genius and then takes a lot of beatings. One of the scenes that made me furious is when this "hero" is on the roof of a building, finds the door locked and starts slowly analyze the situation while his classmates are brutally beaten (hurry up and get your mates to open the door for you!), unrealistic fight scenes, lines like "let's go study" when he's speaking with an half dead guy after fighting?

I dropped out for several months
Finally I decided to watch the last 2 episodes.

Dreams and hopes against money and contacts. What will win?
Throughout this journey, with no police (just a detective), the bad guys never get hurt while the good guys get slaughtered. It makes me nervous. Especially if you think that with just one shot you could kill or knock a person down. Here they get stabbed before reacting and the next day they are back on the loose. How is it possible?
Then when one of the bad guys shoots his gun in the library, the ammunition seems endless. Fists and blows that go through the walls.
Pure fantasy, when the rest would have been quite real.
Final... The only culprit seems to be the gang leader and all the others not even investigated?

Unique approach. This CEO decided to recruit this girl who had left negative feedback on his hotel. She will do a lot of things but she will know how to make up for it and make him fall in love.
Around the 13th episode I was sad that this series only had 20 episodes, but the last 2 episodes lowered my rating a bit.
So-so ending. The boy kept in the dark about everything, she sent abroad to study, does not answer his calls, comes back after a year and even pretends not to know him, then... surprise... she proposes to him. She keeps him on tenterhooks until the end like an idiot. Poor guy.

#proposal

I appreciated the beautiful locations, like the boat at the beginning or Budapest (not so used usually), the soundtrack well adapted to the scenes, a fantastic cast always well dressed, a singular plot.
Choices, sacrifices, emotions, misunderstandings... all in one.

It all starts when Xi Yi wants to propose to his girlfriend Anna on a cruise boat, but the girl thought well to put her career before her life as a couple and agrees to go dancing in Paris and leaves him alone on the ship. On the other hand, Jia Xin, this simple girl spends all her money to offer this cruise to her boyfriend, but she will be disappointed to find out he was a liar and cheating on her with his lover. So these 2 find themselves consoling each other. They will later discover that they are legally married and that she is also pregnant. He loves Anna, but he is also a responsible man who takes care of others and has decided to live with his "wife" until she has the baby, then divorce and be with Anna.
But... Months pass and the time will come to choose between these two women: one, his first love, a selfish girl who puts her career before him, or the other girl who carries his child in her womb and does everything for him.
When he chooses the second, the first fights strenuously to win back his love.
Jia Xin feels guilty for having "stolen" her boyfriend.
Something bad happens and this boy is left alone, only this so-called "friend" by his side and the memory of his great lost love. A very sad moment.
After 3 years, when he goes on a business trip to Hungary, he will find himself face to face with his ex-wife and try to reconnect with their lost relationship. Very difficult with the memory of the past and two friends like Anna and Dyland, false and manipulative.

What can you learn from this story? If you are a very kind person, people take advantage of you and most importantly, you can't love someone on command.

I liked the funny and combative couple of friends, as well as the grandmother version of cupid. Above all I loved the character of Wang Xi Yi, a man who is upright, sensitive and so in love that he wears his wedding ring even after 3 years since he was dumped. A man who channeled his pain by continuing to write the diary, making her plans come true, refusing to sign the divorce papers.
I was moved when he confessed to her that he had also suffered and had hard times and that she wasn't the only one who had pain. She has always been altruistic but in that case she has been 100% selfish.

I was afraid that 36 episodes were a lot but I watched them in just 5 days, I was really addicted to this series.
A small note: I would have avoided putting the image of their wedding under the opening titles, it ruined the surprise.
Then I would have avoided putting Anna among the wedding guests. The way she behaved, a simple "Sorry" was not enough at all compared to the pain she caused. Even if they are good, I don't think I would have forgiven her.
Instead, I found the final scene on the ship to be the right conclusion, like a circle closing.

NB: The Eternal Love (2017) has the same two lead actors. News from August 2024 says that after 7 years they will also get married in real life.

sacrifices and successful

Touring from Seoul to many states in the US. I am always impressed by how hard the boys in the boy bands work. They are successful, but nothing is a gift. They have a hard life, full of sacrifices. I was shocked and moved when I saw that one of the five members was supposed to perform but was not well. I put myself in his shoes... poor guy.
Impressive and amazing to see how many fans they have all over the world. Stadiums so crowded! Well done guys.

Beautiful OST but above all, a great female protagonist. Her character is intelligent, passionate and even funny. How can you not love her?
I honestly didn't quite understand the ending. How does she return to modern life? The doctor finds her in the hospital, then they go by car and find themselves in the desert, him in warrior style near the horse, alive again. Another parallel life? You could have thought it was all a dream but like this, it's not clear.

Doctors possessed by ghosts in order to save lives

This "guru" of a doctor has an accident and goes into a coma. Having to stay close to his body, he will wander around the hospital and with his invisibility he will be able to discover various secrets and will continue to operate by borrowing the body of a young resident.
At a certain point you wonder when he will wake up because other patients wake up or die while he continues to sleep.
At the fourteenth episode, still nothing. A little impatient, I had to wait until the last episode.
These two doctors... What a team! I liked the cast and the happy ending. A lot of open heart surgery... not recommended for sensible people.

Paparazzi

There are so many creepy situations. What is the limit? These paparazzi take photos to threaten people and ask them for money not to publish them.
But sometimes they stumble upon violent crimes where justice prevails over profit.
The common thread of the whole series, this poor guy who does everything to save his daughter. Every day he faces dangers and risks his life to earn money to pay for treatment and a new heart for the daughter he hasn't seen since he was framed.
Of course, politicians, prosecutors and law enforcement always come out of it well. Of course, I'm being sarcastic.
I didn't like this environment of predators of news and scandals, without morals and willing to do anything, even playing with other people's lives. It probably corresponds to reality, but it's shocking.
He as a CEO is too awkward, I preferred him as a photographer.

"pepper girl" and masked hero - search of the Biluotian treasure

This girl who has lived for years and years hidden begging with her uncle, when she is found by the "bad guys" runs away and is sought and fought over by many. Everyone wants her... some dead... some alive!
It is thus discovered that she is the divine maiden and together with a sacred object and a map, she would allow one to obtain this treasure of Biluotian so coveted to become masters of the world.
On her path she meets a masked knight who will save her on several occasions. It happens that he is also the son of the seventh prince who refuses to welcome her into the palace, as she is his alleged "step-sister".
As you might expect, they fall in love each other.

What I liked: the actor Vin Zhang but also the sketches between him and her have always been fantastic.

What I didn't like: the quality of the scenes which were sometimes blurry, the cliché that everyone who dies has blood dripping from their mouth, the last episode where almost everyone dies impaled like skewers and the ending which wasn't up to par with a 51-episode series.

The mystery of this student, nicknamed witch, leads this classmate to study statistics. He will sacrifice his whole life to discover the variables for the accidents and deaths that surround her.
For some, this obsession of his could compare him to a "stalker" for others only the fact that he is in love with her and wants to find a way to get close to her without dying.
The ending, a bit like "Crash landing on you", in Austria instead of Switzerland, but it reminded me a lot.
If I were her, I would have immediately gone to an exorcist rather than live a solitary life.
I honestly watched this series for the main character, Park Jin Young, singer of GOT7.

True love survives through the years for centuries

These 2 lovers must overcome many vicissitudes over 500 years to finally be together. A serial killer also has a hand in it.
The effort this young vet puts in to find her man (1000 climbs up the mountain) is commendable. As well as the desire to testify despite the danger.
I liked the wise child, a very cute and good actor.
