As much as Tarn is likeable character and he is a good memory for Nut, he haven't done even half of what Tofu has done for Nut.
Tofu is representation of people who only think about others and forget about their own well being. I think series will show that this way of thinking is wrong and it's absolutely fine to think about yourself too. Tofu thinks about Tarn getting justice and he also thinks that if he sacrifice himself it will make everything right. However, he doesn't realise that this way he will hurt people. If he is gone Nut and everyone who loves Tofu would be devastated. Tarn can't replace Tofu. Nut is now worrying about Tofu more. He doesn't seem to be so invested in Tarn anymore. If he was still in love with Tarn he would not leave his bedside but he chooses to stay Tofu. Nut got over Tarn. There will be no renewal of the relationship because he loves Tofu now.
If Tofu sacrifice himself for Nut and Tarn being together it would be pointless because they won't get back together.

This only makes sense for people who read the spoiler about book ending. The thing is we don’t know how much the whole series is similar to book. Someone just dropped ending spoiler randomly but without any actual information about book content.
For me this ending would go against everything in the series. Tofu is shown as his own person and not part of someone else.
For me the theory that makes the most sense is that Tofu is reincarnation of Nueng.
- his look is one of the clues but there is so much more to this theory
- we don’t know much about Nueng’s real personality. All we see perspective of Nut and high expectations of Nueng’s father. We need to see it from Nueng’s perspective too
- I believe Nueng could like Nut secretly but gave up for his friend
- what if those similarities to Tarn are actually similarities to Nueng? They were best friends they could share some traits
- making Tofu part of tarn completely degrades his existence as human. His personality is different than Tarn so how can he be replaced with Tarn? It doesn’t make sense at all
- Nueng died around the same time Tofu woke up. It was said it was on the way to train station after graduation if I’m not mistaken. It could happen exactly when Nut cried at home
- there is conversation in the series about making your own ending so I guess series will be different than book

Anyway anything that merges Tofu and Tarn is the worst scenario. It doesn’t make sense to me at all.

Yes, there is a connection, but I can't agree with people saying Tofu is Tarn. I hope that in the last 3 episodes, we will find out more about Nueng. Right now, our impression of him is very one-sided. We only see him from Nut's point of view, but we don't know his real feelings and actual personality. In the flashback, when Nut went to Nueng's house and failed to give him a rose, I had the impression that Nueng wanted to be someone special to Nut, but neither of them had the guts to confess.
Tarn can't replace Tofu in any way. Even though they are somehow connected, their personalities are different.

I watched it and it was more like they were mocking us that they are telling us the spoiler but they actually made it all up.

The theories of Tofu being part of Tarn are the worst. It completely disregards Tofu as his own self. Apart from 2 situations when he did something similar to Tarn he is completely different person. He doesn’t have personality of Tarn regardless of what many people here say.
I really hate the idea of them being one person. It goes against the message of leaving past behind and taking care of people who are with us now.
The only happy ending is when Tofu stays with Nut as himself. Either he is reincarnated Nueng or completely new person.
Tarn with memories of Tofu is a big no for me I would them rather kill Tarn than allow it to happen.
Anyway I don’t believe Tofu is part of Tarn.

My theory from the very beginning is that Nueng's soul reincarnated as Tofu and that he was hiding his feeling as he had to be the perfect son. Also, the way he spoke to Nut several times sounded like he wanted Nut to tell him that he liked him.

I also had another crazy theory: Tarn knew that Nueng likes Nut, so he acted first, and Nueng gave up because they were friends, and then Nut's father killed Nueng in place of Tarn. Nueng reincarnated as a bear. A connection between him and Tarn was created as Nueng died because of him. Ok this one sounds like some soap opera 🤣🤣🤣🤣
