Great Casting
One thing I can say about Kdramas is that more often than not, they manage to cast actors and actresses with great onscreen chemistry. Everytime I doubt a pairing, i end up wrong. This is one example. The King's Affection was a joy to watch, in my opinion. I was watching this simultaneously with a Queen for Seven Days; and while the stories were different, QFSD was a bit dragging for me. TKA's cast did an amazing job of bringing their characters to life; even the secondary ones.
I cannot wait to see more of these actors in future projects

refreshing..
Despite their being trauma cleaners, I actually found this drama very refreshing. I loved the visuals, the drone shots....Kdramas are truly unique. They have so many original stories which can be eye openers for foreign viewers.
I loved the idea of having these trauma cleaners. For people who have experienced losses, it is truly difficult to go through a loved ones belongings because of all the memories they evoke.
Though this series was short, it showed a different side of loss. In their words, the deceased could speak and tell their stories. True enough, everything they leave behind, be it receipts, old bills etc, can easily tell a story of how they live their daily lives.
This is a recommendable drama the whole family can enjoy

A Trainwreck....
Personal opinion of this show is that it is a drama whose plot started out interestingly but ended up all over the place without much cohesion.Negatives:
- Hae Soo 's character. Thought it would be expounded in the middle of the series but was wrong.
- The connection among the 3 FLs. For me, the story between Mo Ran and Ok Sun could have been turned into the main plot. Woo Hyun's character was just more of an extra branch on a tree.
- Not liking Kim Ha Neul's character and her acting. Liked her in 18 again, but here, her expression is just one dimensional and as a TV shopping host, Ok Sun had a livelier character which would be more believable of a host.
- The supporting characters. Not one stood out for me. They were too noisy and over the top. The drama could have done without most of them.
- The plot wherein Mo Ran was abused by Hyun Wook's dad and became pregnant????? The story didn't even give a background on why Mo Ran was living with them during her younger years. And how is it possible for her to have a teen son when she already looks like a grandma? The younger Mo Ran looked to be in her early 20's. If that were so, the present Mo Ran should have been in her mid 30"s.
- Ok Sun's husband. A character that the drama could also do without.
- This series felt rushed. The past of the Fl's should have been played out in detail so that the viewer would understand where they are coming from.
Positives:
- well the soundtrack was so-so.
- First time to see Kim Sung Ryung and found her to be really pretty. Would like to see a drama with her as Fl and no one else to fully see her acting chops
Note: To each his own. Respect. You can choose to agree of disagree. This is just my personal view of the show.

Overhyped?
This was one of my most anticipated drama this year because of the leads. Unfortunately, I cannot believe I am actually considering dropping this.IU is a great actress but her character here fails to give her justice. Personally, I find her character irritating in the way she acts all cutesy cutesy. There is also the way she keeps shouting at the end of every sentence. Calm then BOOM!
BWS on the other hand, I cannot say that his is a case of poor acting. For me he is just portraying the role of a stoic prince. Not much to comment on actually. Would love to see him in something else. Maybe a more serious drama.
Together, I am not feeling much of a chemistry from them. BWS worked better with KHY in Lovely Runner, in my personal opinion.
So, the reason I am dropping this would be more because of the storyline than the actors. But if you love a romcom that is light and shallow, give it a try. ...you might end up enjoying it.
PS.. To toxic commenters, please respect my opinion. No need to agree with me. To each his own.,,,

Sorry dropping this...
Been seeing mixed reviews and I am one of those who isn't into it.Wanted to see Moon Sang Min after Queen's Umbrella. But, his dramas after weren't to my liking. For me, the chemistry with the FLs just wasn't there.
He can do well in these type of roles but the FL here was so one-dimensional. From facial expressions to her acting....
If you're enjoying the drama good for you..... Just respect others who didn't like it please.

Great casting
Despite living in an Asian country, historical movies and dramas are not as common here as compared with Japan, Korea, and China. Which is why I take particular interest in watching these historical Kdramas. It is a learning experience seeing how Koreans used to live in the past. The manner of speech, the customs, the social hierarchy.......
I just finished this drama and, I can honestly say, that the storyline is one of the more entertaining ones I have come across with. Although it bears resemblance to other dramas (corruption, greed, power hungry officials etc); what would define this drama is the cast and the writing.
The Crowned Clown is well written and the cast gives a stellar performance as an ensemble. The energy of each emotion is palpable to the viewer and it is a nod to the cast that they can each deliver their roles with such dedication. My favorite character would have to be the Chief Secretary. For me, he is the driving force behind the king. It may seem manipulative, but he gives sound advice and is tactful despite dealing with the snakes in court.
Was apprehensive about how it would end after watching some good dramas with FLAT endings. But, it turned out well...

Another cheating drama trope
Let's face it, themes like these are all too common in kdramas these days. And while it may seem to be the same old, same old; there is still something about these dramas that make me want to see it through until the end. (Despite the flaws)Casting wise, this is my first time seeing the ML and FLs. The mistress does a good job of making you hate her character that sometimes I want to slap her silly. The ML, doesn't seem to fit the typical ML mould. He doesn't have that strong of an impact for me. The character reminds me of my sister in law's personality. Greedy to the max
The extra characters, nosy neighbors???? Very poor acting. What is it with that woman who gets physically abused and yet acts as if it is a normal thing??? Their poor attempts to add a lighter note to the drama by providing "comedic" relief is laughable, and not in a good way. I know that there are always these extra characters every time, but this group does nothing for the drama and are better written off.
P.S. The only thing I admire in these chaebol lives is their houses. The setting and interiors are almost always really unique.
So, if you are into these type of dramas, you can give this a go and hopefully not fall asleep.

Interesting storyline but the ending .........
Pros: Interesting storyline and plot- love the grandfather and grandson interaction.
- the way history unfolds and you get to see how they incorporate it into the story
- fast paced
- Lee Sung Min definitely shone in this drama and has no doubt garnered even more fans after this
Cons:
- ML portraying himself as a student. Kdramas are mostly like this and sometimes, they can get away with it. Like the leads in Our Beloved Summer. Those two really looked good in their school uniforms.
- FL. Boring boring boring. Not only her looks, but also her fashion styling and her acting. Don't think she is cut out to be a lead.
From what I have seen in the comments online, many agree that she was not suitable for this role. Her line delivery is predictably boring. She can't even pass as a prosecutor. A male actor would have been better.
- Chaebols fighting over dominance and money. A frequent trope in kdramas. Different actors but still the same greed and money grubbing issues. A bit tiring in its repitiion, but SJK on screen is definitely a worthy watch
- The ending was a big DUH for me. I don't know the actual webtoon ending, but this one AAARRRGGHH... Seriously, is it just me who finds it weird that no one even wondered why Do Jun looked exactly like Hyun Woo????

Surprisingly good
I was at first hesitant to watch this because there wasn't anything in the title that made it sound interesting. But surprisingly, this rom-com is such a breath of fresh air. From the visuals, backdrop, actors, dialogue....close to perfection :) It is not like your typical rom-com which gets boring after a while. This one continues to deliver a great and interesting storyline.
It is my first time to watch Byeon Woo Seok and he nailed being a high schooler. So did Kim Hye Yoon for that matter.
The camaraderie of the cast is apparent in their interaction and each carried out their roles impeccably.
This is now the only kdrama that I am looking forward to now that QOT has finished its run. Can't wait for the next episodes...

Another great acting from Lee Joon Gi!
I discovered Lee Joon Gi through Flower of Evil and immediately became a fan.Been seeing a lot of good reviews for this and though, a bit late, I finally decided to dive in.
The series is an introduction to Korean Dynasties if you are unfamiliar to them, like me. Watching the palace intrigues, decorums and hierarchy of classes really makes one think. Centuries may have passed and yet, ambition and greed still brings out the monster in an individual.
Lee Joon Gi isn't the quintessential macho, big muscled lead actor, physically. But no one can doubt his presence when he is on screen. He is one of the greatest actors I have seen in Kdramas. So much so that I have been looking at his filmography to see his previous projects.
IU is so pretty. I love her here more than I did in Hotel del Luna.
At first, I was confused because there were too many princes but they eventually became more familiar. I found Eun's (10th prince) acting a bit on the overacting side. I had to skip through his scenes. Asides from Lee Joon Gi, I liked Baek also. Was rooting for Wook (8th prince) but he really changed over the course of the drama
I still have about 5 episodes more to go and I couldn't believe how fast I was watching it. Really riveting story.

Underrated Gem!
I first saw Seo Hyeon Jin in Dr. Romantic. Didn't exactly like or dislike her there. Just so-so for me. This changed when I watched the Beauty Inside. I loved her acting. It was so effortless! When my sister recommended Another Miss Oh, I decided to try it. It is turning out to be another gem of a drama. Just the right amount of comedy, laughs, romance, tear jerking dialogues.
The storyline for me, was unique. Have never seen one similar to it. I could feel her heartbreaks, trials, having to go through difficult times just because she was mistaken for the girl with the same name.
The stories of the other characters were something I could do without though. I kept skipping through them.
Back to the leads. It was my first time to watch a drama with Eric Mun. I have never seen or heard of him before so it took some time to get used to him. I actually found him not a typical Kdrama lead. Maybe his looks? But he grew on me eventually.
One thing I have found in the dramas that I like, is that Korean actors and actresses are really GOOD! You can pair them with almost anyone and more often than not, the chemistry is there. Their love stories turn out to be so believable that you end up rooting for them to take it from reel to real.
Still have several episodes to go for this, and I can't wait to see what happens next....

Slice of life at it's best
This title has been on my list to watch on Netflix since last year. It was only last week that I got to start it.Have you ever watched a drama wherein the summarized plot basically told you nothing about the story and you go in totally unprepared for it? Well, this is one such drama.
EP 1 didn't give me a hint on what this drama would be about although it did pique my interest. Sometimes you just want a drama about life and My Mister doesn't disappoint.
I loved the relationship of the 3 siblings. Middle-aged they may be, but they can still act like boys when they argue. They may not be rich and down on their luck (the 2 brothers at least); but they proved that you are never too old to learn something new. I myself had a 9 to 5 career before and now I am helping manage a business that is totally different from what I was used to.
I also like their mom. Moms will always be moms no matter what the age of their child. They are already nearing their 50's and yet, she still wakes up early to prepare their lunch boxes.
As to IU's performance, I was initially bored with her expression. But as the story progressed, you can understand the choices she made.
The drama itself is full of colorful characters and the story is refreshingly different from the rom-coms, adultery, chaebols, revenge stories I have been watching. Definitely recommending this if you want a realistic story about life.

No chemistry
I am watching this just because I want to know how it ends. I rated the rewatch value at 1 because everything about this series grates on my nerves. The acting of the lead characters is sooo over the top. There are also inconsistencies when it comes to the rivalry of the male leads. I find the younger guy irritating as well. Not only his acting but his face as well. The only characters I enjoyed was the girl's parents. Other than that, no other cast members are even worth mentioning. There is no logic as to why a pharma firm would invest in a webtoon company. It seems as if the storyline wasn't really given much effort. Was this review helpful to you?
Fun ride...
I was initially a skeptic when I saw that this would be a series instead of a movie. Because, how long can you drag a zombie apocalypse??Was i ever wrong! From the very first episode, I was drawn in to the world of Hyosan high school students. The series had a perfect balance of light and scary moments. Comedic lines were properly timed just when you need a break from the heavy, adrenaline pumping, zombie chases.
But what I really liked about this, was the valid reason why the Professor invented the virus in the first place. The viewers were not left to wonder as to why these zombies came about. Unlike The Walking Dead, wherein no explanation was given as to their presence.
I still have a few episodes left, but I am wishing for another season already....

slow drama with poor chemistry
Despite my rating, I am going to finish this drama (fast forwarding at times), just to see how it ends. Because, let's be honest, dramas about cheating are some of the most watched genres.CONS:
- no chemistry between the leads
- that drab green coat. It is as if Hae Won has nothing else to wear except that. Glad to be finally rid of it at ep 9. Didn't like the actress in Hospital Playlist, and nothing has changed after seeing her here.
- the actress portraying Hee Joo. Her voice when she speaks to her in-laws sounds like she is trying hard to come off as a nice person. She smiles at the most inopportune times. The role is conflicting because one moment she is angered that these 2 people from her past might disrupt her perfect life. And yet, she keeps putting herself into situations that would require her to have interactions with them.
- too many unnecessary characters. Hee Joo's mom and grandfather, Hae Won's brother and the creepy old lady who keeps calling him a murderer, the bartender, the billiard hall owner and his daughter Joo Yong.
- the disrespectful son and daughter of Hee Joo, both of whom need to be taken down a peg or two
- the unreasonable plot wherein Hee Joo stayed for several years in Ireland and lived with her boy toy while raising their baby, all while she was married
PROS
- none actually. Just feel that the only one who can act among the leads are the two guys.
So, just like Penthouse season 3, this is just something I have to finish which is why I am still watching it. LOL
