Makjang to the highest level
I knew going in that this drama would be extreme in every way possible. But since I watched the first part, had to finish it with this second part. This second season has introduced 2 new characters and of these 2, I'm not liking the aunt. Does she really talk that way??? Acting wise...thumbs down for me. The show has put in so much twist and turns that it feels like it has now become dragging. I just watched ep 12 and franky, fast forwarded several scenes. I'm getting tired just thinking about those 4 last episodes coming.. (Tired but still watching till the end).
As expected, the story has veered far.... far... far.... far off course to the point that you might have forgotten how it started out in the first place. Ah, Bang Da Mi, the series of events your demise triggered....... totally unrecognizable.. LOL
Anyway, they should have stopped this series at ep 10 because it has honestly been going on for too long.....

To continue or not????
I used to like Park Min Young. But of late, I find her dramas boring. Her acting has become so one dimensional and predictable.Don't even get me started on her looks..... She just seems way too thin to the point of looking gaunt.
The drama plot? seemed interesting at first but then WHJ seemingly starts to fall for her after being adamantly believing she is the culprit??? Not realistic at all. Is it believable for someone to be interested in the 140K payout after cancelling the policy??? (am i correct in understanding that for every policy cancelled there is this amount of payout? Amount is fairly small to commit murder)
So, those 2 points are my only gripes so far.
Am I contemplating finishing this? not sure.........

Dreamily beautiful
Keeping it short, I love everything about this drama. This is my 4th Cdrama and I wasn't disappointed at all.Stunning visuals of the main leads, good chemistry, simple but realistic storyline and a colorful setting......I like how they incorporated the TCM into the story. Whereas before, I was always skeptical about TCM, I find myself wanting to learn more about it.
This is definitely one of the Best Things I've watched so far this year

Cute rom com
My 5th modern cdrama and a rom com at that.Great storyline, unique ideas.... Some situations were ridiculously funny! Specially the alpaca :)
I loved how they tied up the story with the make up industry. It was interesting to get a glimpse on how this industry works.
The vibe was also colorful and bright, exuding a happy, feel good mood. Great to watch after a tiring day.
If you are looking for something light and delightfully funny, I highly recommend giving FILTER a try.

So Unique....
I went into this thinking it was a dark drama. Was I ever wrong.....I am glad I finally watched it after all this time. This comedic drama is really a gem to watch. Mothers would be able to relate well to this, as it chronicles the experiences from childbirth until the time they take their babies home.
The characters all have so much depth in them, and they each portrayed a different side to being a mother.
I first saw the FL in Little Women. Though I disliked her character there, I loved her here. She does comedy flawlessly. So did the ML.
If this has been on your list to watch, then do so now. You won't regret it :)

Lovely drama
This will probably rank as one of my favs for 2023.While I was initially skeptic about the ML and FL's chemistry, after watching this, I believe both suited their roles very much.
This is my first time to see the FL (can't wait for her next project Kill Bok Soon), but I loved how she portrayed and gave justice to her character. The fact that she can make the viewer feel her sincere love and affection for her niece, is a testament to her acting skills.
Beyond the romance angle of the story, the FL's relationship with her niece is the best part of the whole drama. It reminds me so much of my relationship with my nieces. Roh Yeon Soo has been one of my fav young actresses after seeing her in Our Blues. It helps that she looks like my niece :)
The ending was also very fitting. Unlike some dramas which just gives you an ending open to interpretation, this one was unpretentious. It ended just like how it should be. No feeling of dissatisfaction at all.
Hope there would be dramas like this coming out soon....

Beautifully crafted crime drama
Most of the times, I have a hard time watching Korean crime dramas. Though they are exciting to watch, sometimes there are just too many names to remember (hard to remember foreign names vs english ones).I am currently watching the Queen's Umbrella and saw someone comment in his review how much he liked Kim Hye Soo in Signal. I loved her in Juvenile Justice so I decided to watch Signal and see her in a different role.
After finishing this series in record time, I agree with loving Kim Hye Soo. Not only is she a great actress, she totally suits the role of a tough detective. I also loved Jo Jin Woong. His acting is so natural and he is so in character as Detective Lee Jae Han. I looked around for his other dramas but sad to say that he doesn't have any current ones.
The storyline is also well written. It captures the viewers interest and there are some heart pounding moments when you wonder if this or that is about to happen.
While the radio transmissions give you Frequency vibes, it is still different in certain ways. Definitely a must watch

Too short
This drama had great promise. But since it was all squeezed into 8 episodes, some scenes felt rushed. There was actually nothing new in terms of plot since it involved money grabbing politicians, revenge, femme fetales etc. Nevetheless, the actors all played their parts well and did justice to the story despite being one of the shortest episodes I have watched.
Would have liked to see how the leads' feelings developed since their interaction wasn't that visible.
The villainous female shined in her role because you will really hate her guts in this drama. First saw her in Snowdrop and she didn't leave that much of an impression that time.
Overall, the drama was ok. Just wished it was longer

Entertaining and well written
Tunnel is a classic example of a drama which can beat anything Hollywood will ever make.Though it didn't explain anything about the tunnel itself, the way the story was weaved was enjoyable to watch.
Linking both past and future didn't confuse me as what ALICE did (worst time travel drama for me).
Characters also have great chemistry among themselves. Everyone got a fair share on screen and the camaraderie they have really makes you believe that they are co-workers.
It wasn't difficult to guess how the leads were interconnected but nevertheless, I fully enjoyed this and will recommend it for those who prefer action series rather than rom-coms

Because of Ji Sung.....
I am a huge fan of Ji Sung after watching Dr John and Innocent Defendant. He is an intense actor and has never failed to bring his characters to life.It took a while for me to adjust to this story because it is set in a dystopian society. But, overall, it proved entertaining enough.
Storyline of having a live court show is something not yet tackled in any Kdramas I have seen. Part of me liked the idea of having the citizens vote on the verdict of the criminal. However, this would never be welcome in reality.
The rest of the story was really nothing new. The gist was about government corruption, a problem which has long since been prevalent in any government around the world. It was just a manner of how they depicted the actions surrounding these corrupt individuals.
I would have wanted to see more interaction between Elijah and Yo Han though. While the few scenes showed how much Yo Han loved his niece, just felt that there could have been more. The actress portraying Elijah is very pretty and has potential to be a future lead. Hopefully, many would have noticed so that future projects will be upcoming for her

Great casting and great story
I was just looking for something to watch while waiting for the next episode of Penthouse. So glad that I found this gem of a drama. This is definitely one series I would recommend to my friends. When I feel down, I go for dramas which are bright and uplifting. This one is exactly what I was looking for.
I loved the story and the actors. They are so full of depth and portrayed their roles flawlessly. The story was uniquely different. Just like most kdramas, the lead stars often have a childhood story connection. The way the story and this connection played out was really well told.
Both leads have great chemistry together. )Shin Hye Sun is already a favorite of mine after watching Mr. Queen)
I hope that both of them can star in another series together.

Unique story
Watched this because I am a fan of Kim Hyun Joo.The premise of the story was unique. For someone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, how I wish this could happen in real life as well. However, when the memories of both Hyun Chul started to meld into one, this was where the story really started to fold out.
What does one do when the soul of a loved one is in another body? I can just imagine how difficult it was for the characters involved. But beneath this story, I loved that this story focused on the families.
I was already dreading how this would end and which family he would choose. To be honest, was surprised at his choice. But I am glad that in the end, it all worked out for them.

Anticlimactic ending
After watching Flower of Evil, I was ready to start another thriller/romance K-drama.The premise of this story was actually very promising. Admittedly, I cried several times because of the hardships the FL experienced.
With regards to the casting, for me, didn't feel that there was much chemistry between the two leads. When they fell in love and were about to get married, I found the timeline for this too rushed. The FL also didn't feel like she was actually in love with the guy. Even during that part, I felt that she was still using him to be near her daughter.
The mother-in-law's acting was great. The fact that she looked exactly like my ex-boss made me hate her even more LOL.
The golfer's character was something that the story could have done without. Not much substance
Anyway, the ending was a bit of a big D-U-H ??? for me. It was as if the pressure had been building up to burst and then POOF.... it fell flat. The motives, the unanswered question as to why the mother in law had a secret son, why the need for a fake son.... these were questions that were left unanswered.

In love with Song Seung Heon
This is my first time to watch Song Seung Heon. At first, just watching the drama posters, he came off as arrogant. Wrong! I absolutely love him. Not just for his looks but his voice and delivery of his dialogue. They both looked so good together that it,'s hard to believe they just met during the script reading. They have a great chemistry on screen and I would love for this to be the case in real life. For me, they and the ex boyfriend are the only characters truly worth watching. Great acting by the obsessive ex.
The secondary characters, I can do without them. Found most of them totally unnecessary in the story.
I also loved the soundtrack specially Midnight Cinderella. Very lovely tune....
If I were to rewatch this, I would skip the other episodes and focus more on when the leads both knew each other's identity

Unexpectedly sweet
I had been browsing through different titles on what Kdrama to watch and stumbled upon this. The synopsis was curiously different and sounded interesting so I tried it out.At first, I found Lee Min Ki a bit boring, monotone face and dialogue delivery. But as the series unfolded, I grew very fond of him and found that his being monotone totally suited his role.
This was the second drama I watched with Seo Hyun Jin. I had seen her work in Dr Romantic. I liked her better here though.
Lee Da Hee was a lovable character. Very beautiful..
The OST was just amazing. My ears totally fell in love with the songs. Just for the OST alone, I would watch this series again.
