does the romance/chemistry make up for the flat script? I'm thinking of starting to watch this
I dropped it after an episode and a half, the writing is not good and I found it boring and over acted by the authors. ML acting is good but the FL is a bit, well... flat but then again I was never a fan of her acting, I tried several shows where she is main and couldnt watch any of them.
Anyway, this is just an opinion, lots of people seem to have liked it.
You are not alone. They should have left it as a fluffy romance and not attempt the "feminist" angle as it was…
I just turned off my brain early on. I was pretty impressed with FL at first because she was open about her sexuality and libido and it seemed like the romance wasnt going to be all cutesy with frolicking (like jumping around unrealistically like so many kdrama FL) but yeaaa... the fact that she couldnt be strong in other ways except being LITERALLY strong and moaning about scum men was disappointing. I think the creators really wanted a strong FL but they seem to have missed the mark a bit because that cliche strong FL is out of date for at least 20 years...
Oh dear... what is it with historical kdramas in 2023? They are just not... good. I guess I am waiting until this is over to watch, it seems rather silly so far
I think some of the actors in the support category should be mains though. The young nurse, the head nurse and the other surgeon. They appear often enough and are part of the main medical team. This isnt just about romantic leads here. How do I suggest this change?
