currently watching, what i love most about it is our cute puppy jin oh, 1930 scenes(the more the better the episode is for me), satellite love. its a very unique drama.
Not sure even a spectacular finale can save this continuing downward spiral of predictability and pointless scenes.…
i totally agree with you!! i laughed real hard on your comment you're so right!!
i got a beam of hope when i first heard about this hoping it will be like signal or even top it if thats possible but no. oh no. i still liked it and watched it all the way through it just didn't leave a strong impression on me like signal did and every time i watched tunnel especially the later episodes i just felt like rewatching signal and experiencing the masterpiece again. cuz this just left me saying what was this about again? i mean i forgot what it was even about because of the amount of really dumb moments this had
it was a great thriller but something is lacking i can't point out what exactly. it lacked dimension, it was so straight forward sometimes and i couldn't connect with the characters as much and this has nothing to do with the acting because the actors did their best in portraying their roles and i applaud them. the plot holes and irrational decisions made by the characters (esp the main killer) i just couldn't get it. the drama was at its peak right before the killer was revealed and after that the story just got...... more incomprehensible?
little to no character development, kwang ho's character, as much as i liked him i feel like they didn't give him good lines or enough background. honestly id say he spent most of his scenes just running and yelling, so sun jae was a better character in that aspect even though his development was cut halfway. 7.5/10
Could someone please fill me in how the current younger Park Kwang Ho (the one that died) got involved in investigating…
he got involved when mok jin woo was volunteering in his area and kwang ho went with his grandfather or an elderly man to get treated and mok jin woo was the one treating him. kwang ho noticed that he used a different shot on him and the man died the next day so kwang suspected him and the rest is history
i love how every scene, dialogue, even certain little things in the background are detailed and you would find it explained perfectly in later episodes and everything would make epic sense... and everything plays a role in the plot, they wouldn't show a fly in the air unless it means something. just.perfect.
i get super annoyed and frustrated with dramas when they setup certain things in the beginning and they somehow just forget or i assume abandon them. but this is the complete opposite everything is setup and planned perfectly
this is one of the only dramas that had a satisfying ending. it was realistic but so great and it left some hope and happiness without jumping out of reality. this show was slow at one point i was considering dropping it but THANK GOD I DIDNT. i can't remember which episode it was that this drama became FIRE the story is gold, its so meaningful and deep on so many levels
8/10 dropped two points only because of the slowness and inconsistent\poor directing style.
What the heck did I just watch? Oh gosh, I had so many problems with this episode. Problem 1. Seon Jae finds out…
agreed. the little details about the whole story and the tunnel time-travel concept requires some intricate plotting but i also feel like the writers don't stick to that as much as they should so i feel like they're making things more complicated and there are reasonable approaches to the story they could've went with which could've made it better.
it feels more like a parallel universe because they're completely ignoring the whole butter fly effect and that changes in the past change the future vice versa. he went back to the past but nothing changed and from what it seems in the preview of ep 14 it looks like when he returns to the future everything will still be the same as if he was just going back and forth between two parallel universes. he did many things when he returned to the past which would drastically change the course of the future.
this is why i think signal is better. i still really like this show.. its just that I've seen better
its 20 episodes long but they divided each episode into two separate 30 minute long episodes... its pretty pointless and stupid in my opinion so ill only watch when all 4 eps of the week are uploaded
