Big Mama King with her powerful voice and CHoi min soo ost from warrior baek dong soo was what started my hunt for Korean music. Choi min soos song was the first Korean song I ever tried to learn the lyrics for!! that song makes me cry, get chill bumps and generally man up everytime i hear it. One of my other favorites was the original Who are you OST by saza choi and winterplay, those lies. saved the best for last!! the song that plays every time something really good happened on the It's Ok - Thats love drama song by Family of the year - Hero. Wht I would really love is an easier way to find who sings what!! How cool is it that a TON of OST are actully being sung by the actors in them? I LOVE that! Who Knew Choi min soo could sing such a moving song?
for some reason i can't update the list with dramas that i watched...is anyone else that has the same problem…
Is it sendingyou to a facebook app? mine was. i clicked everything 20 times and it started posting on my facebook and then it worked,.. UGH what a mess right?
who cares if its a 'meh' drama (although nope, don't feel that way myself) - this is Yoochun's last before MS.…
Teleri!! I am going to really miss yoo chun. I thought him running around half an episode with an arm out of socket was enough to show he did not feel pain! I do think he is doing a fantastic job as well. I feel like the writers are having trouble grasping the fact that we get it already. it happens like this in a lot of dramas that end up being just fine. the guy kicking him is one of my favorite character actors tooo... I think around ep 5 they will have settled down and it will probably pick right up nicely.
I take shin se kyung over park Yoochun any day. Yoochun blows. Can't act ..can't do anything. I like shin se kyung.…
For yoo chun I agree. He acts better in roles that are written better as well. starting to see a pattern there? LOL Si wan ( from Misaeng?) is a great actor.
Yoo chun is fine. I wonder how many people realize how hard it is to mentally set yourself up as a person who does not feel pain? mentally getting in to that role is going to be like putting yourself into a box at first, then slowly coming out of it. Usually after five episodes they have the feel for it and THAT is when you check in to see if its going to float or sink. I think they should start making a lot of trial episodes until every one relaxes. THEN they can take on their roles and the flow and chemistry is established before we see their awkward feeling... But! a lot of dramas are long enough that you can skip the five episodes and go into the decent acting parts :)
not at all. its more like blademan in its aspects of fantasy, and even the overall feeling s pretty much the same. its almost as though they were trying to merge a jdrama ( cold and really out there sometimes: ie manga driven) with a kdrama ( obligation, loss of a family member, being the bullied one).
I thought the second episode was the meh episode and the first was sort of ok. The act of physically harming (kicking) yoo chun by the lead homicide inspector, and making that deal for some reason made me feel the drama was a very low grade quality. I believe I am going to pass this one up as much as love yoo chun in a lot of his other dramas. As cheesey as they may have been they were nice enough in the casting and script to make it worth it.
I am pinning heavy hopes on ep 14. this drama is SO awesomely portrayed. You can feel the high school angst flowing thru to the first steps of adulthood. its really nice. and I love all four mains.
actually I wonder if it was Ho Goo that whom Kang Cheol kissed .. it was probably his twin Ho keyoung who looked…
Of course, i suppose one COULD be really young and have a deep impression of a relationship after that kind of a day and not be gay or straight, just 'in love" and it would not really be a serious gender bender mishap. since he did not seek out a guy for sex ( hence the do do hee baby) i say we rule out that he is gay right off the bat. UNLESS he was not the dad after all. I can almost see that coming....
It is going to turn out to be the must see drama for this year as far as I am concerned. it is SO hard to get on to a new drama after being so immersed in this one. wasn't it wonderful? I watched each episode raw then with subs and then again later even in better HD. LOL it was HORRIFICALLY ADDICTINGLY PERFECT!!!! One of those dramas that leaves you with the bittersweet feelings of lost love isn't it?
Ok – watched ep1 & was disappointed since the lead has a smexy, brooding, and insightful onscreen demeanor…
Maybe it takes a few years on a person to see meaning in this drama. somehow it was conveyed to me the comedy that is life. the guy is not a goofball to me. he is a victim of all sorts of things until he finally takes charge of himself. This is my first time seeing this drama and I have not seen more than 15 or 20 Japanese dramas at all, so I went into it with no biases at all. And ask any one in the universe, playing comedy well is nothing easy, it would be a challenge as a break out role into comedy for any one. This drama was warm, comforting, funny, sad and insightful. I also loved the OSt song and still listen to it a lot. WTG Leo Tieri!!
first of all thank you for not leaving spoilers. I am on episode 8. This is not my genre, i usually steer away, but as you pointed out in your review the cast and story are superb. I can only watch so much at one time but MAN is it good. I am so worried about the ending. I how it ends like i want it to. Reality and writers tho, they can and do throw in a monkey wrench!!
