I got really turned off by her performances in season one of chinese running man . AWWW. I really love her work as an actress ( well what all I have seen is ok so far!!)but i was really sad to find her just another shallow, self involved face. * cries * She was telling some Korean guy " I want to get even MORE beautiful. really? wow.

It is a real pity you did not finish Misaeng because his character develops really well. That is a true coming of age drama. By the end of it he was on board with the " good guys" and had a better grasp of what taking risks means and too many other important life lessons. It was really beautiful to see him ( in his character) grow and become more manly and terrifically brave. I think that drama will be a milestone in his career, showing how he can progress in character development seamlessly. Perfect portrayal of going in as a boy, coming out as a man.
On anoth4er note, he was always eye catching ( to me) in what ever role he played, I always looked for him throughout any show he was cast in. He is really handsome and has a brilliant, all inclusive smile that feels almost as good as a warm hug, with a side of impish.

Well I had to rant on a first post, and now that I am calmer, just let me say, I was really excited by the intro, and the first 20 minutes of this drama. But then the poor dubbing is killing this show, as well as the female voice over is like baby talk WHAT a turn off. Did no one pay attention to how high the ratings were on the normal voice of women dramas and get a clue? ( nirvana in fire, the Disguiser, he comes close your eyes to name a few) I will try to finish the entire first episode before my head explodes... I am so sad.

After looking around, I discovered there is some epic battle going on between the co stars management companies, most of YY scenes were cut or he was made to look horrible and he won't be back for season two. this entire drama is getting terrible reviews in China. HOW sad all of this makes me.

I used to feel like that.. now I am like " ok i want to know them ALL!!!!" and how funny is it that the best of all those dramas both turned out to be non korean. LOL

It is a really great drama, for the most part. :) I recently saw Lu Yi in the Korean variety show " dream team II" and it was REALLY a good watch.

Miss Joyce :) don't force yourself LOL. If it is not fun then it isn't, and that's all there is to it. I find the Disguiser the same way. I know it's quality but I really cannot immerse myself in the genre. UGH. I love the cast, I reallly really wanted to see Jin Dong as the main lead. I love him and his scenes but argh. I just cannot stay focused on it. And as for the Myth... well, I dropped that like three times BUT once past episode 11 it really picked up for me and went well so I was able to happily finish it and give it a good rating. It did start off very rocky and disjointed, it did get better ( at least for me) and was worth the effort. As far as good times goes, well I saw that one on youtube , it has since been taken down tho :( and I loved it. I am trying to watch love me if you dare but the icky bits are killing me. I have been clicking thru it and kind of watching. I don't know if I can do serial killer thrillers that well. I am a fan of both Wang Kai and Wallace and was excited to see them together. I feel like it is well done and if this is your genre then it should work. If it is NOT tho, like I said in the beginning, not to worry!! Watch what you like and skip what you don't. My favorite color is green, but the crayon box has tons of other colors because not every one likes the same thing, right? :)

This movie is epic. Great story, excellent character portrayal, ending I cried not too sure if I was happy or sad. That bittersweet place in between, you know? I saw it on gooddrama with subs. HOLY COW, do give it a look.

Is she in this movie called Romance Out of the Blue? i tried to add it but did not find it listed yet.

I also thought she was in love with Lin Shu's father, Namu tree, her savior being mei shinan..
Also, speaking of side characters, Zhen Ping was SO freaking awesome in that alley " og fail I forgot a name" omg he was So visually iconic.

YES!!! filmography, story line, beautiful costumes, intelligent content, amazing characters. you name it is all in here and perfect.

The flying used to kill me as well. But now, I am ok with it. i started out originally watching historical Korean dramas, after I got all those watched I went on to modern day. I finally got those done to the point that i was waiting for a new episode and went over to Chinese. I started Chinese dramas the same way, in the historical section, so I was prepared for flying and such. I used to totally bust out laughing when they did that, and now I know it just is part of the entire martial arts mythology. Now I look for it as a marker for those fighters who are masters and really tough.

My biggest issue with this drama is that it has raised the bar SO high. I loved all the wuxia dramas I had seen before in an oh so patronizing way. Now, I cannot complete one of the older ones. GAh this drama has shown me what is possible and what dramas should look like. I have rewatched ONE drama before this one back to back. ( Life is beautiful in my BL period LOL) and now. well I watch this one a lot. It will be summer before the next batch I am waiting for are coming along. I hope I make it.

I saw that scarlett heart. MAN that was intense. Really nicely done tho IMHO.

for some flying in Korean dramas keep looking you will find it. It does seem to be more prevalent in chinese dramas, I love it now. It used to freak me out, but now I realize it also directly translates to " oh look, he is a bad ass master of martial arts"

It is a sad ending BUT they made an alternate happy ending too. So I watched that!! LOL.

well look for the alternate ending, it is AWAAESOME!!!
I am still trapped in there on some insane endless loop. i never watch anything more than once. Ok i do, but like years and years between. I have seen this series back to back WAY too many times to admit. GAH i don't want to leave. I do not think I will find a drama as good as this one more than once every three to five years.

I know, right? OMG he is the epitome of seriously cute isn't he? makes me smile all over LOL.

This drama is full to the brim with love. Just it has to do with bromances. there are some love stories but the epicness of love is always on the male to male relationships. Very serious deadly stuff, not your blove( a drop or two in there but not much) . However, it is also the most moving bromance feels i have ever ever ever seen in ANY drama ever.

Childhood friends!!! , Jings' cousin Lin Shu was supposed to marry her, Jing and Lin Shu were seriously tight best friends and cousin buddies. She was always hanging out with those two. Hence she feels and can act very sisterly around him and trust him totally.
