Heartwarming and touching little gem! Don't judge it from the summary: the description is misleading! Both leads did a wonderful job (Kim Jung Hyun's acting already caught my eye in Rebel and Binggoo). I hope to see both of them in a new project soon.
Song Seung Heon's performance was phenomenal! His looks, the tone of his voice, his captivating, seducing eyes... The darkest Black, the sexiest Reaper! Go Ah Ra was not as bad as I thought she would, she was average most of the times, but next to SSH she just wasn't visible at all... All supporting characters had quite interesting stories and pleasant dynamics. The story was intriguing, with many twists and turns, cleverly justified. Overall, a thrilling, addictive drama with a well-written story and a magnificent leading actor!
Dropped it while watching the 2nd episode... The father is far beyond abusing and nobody is giving a damn! Almost everybody is rude or submissive! What was the writer's and director's approach with all this violence and over-acting? Too disturbing to watch!
Fresh, good-looking leads, quite simple & predictable plot, a bit draggy in the middle, with many similarities with other well-known dramas, but easy to watch when you need a break from other 'heavier' and more serious dramas... But the main song ... I'm sick and tired of it!
While watching 'Save Me' I was pretty sure that Woo Do Hwan will be my new favorite actor, but now I'm really amazed: he is again stealing all the spotlights, slaying his role and glowing with charisma!
I started watching it with low expectations but it really took me by surprise! Such a well-written drama: a perfect combination of romance, comedy, friendship and family issues. Wonderful performances and chemistry between the actors, especially the 'mother-daughter' interactions were so heart-throbbing... Kim Mi Kyung was once again superb in her role and Jang Ki Yong delivered his Nam Gil perfectly.
Not the best drama of the year, but satisfactory enough. Lee Jong Suk's performance wasn't his best but not that bad as many say and Suzy's was ... hmm ... acceptable. Jung Hae In as Woo Tak and Kim Won Hae as Mr. Choi stole the spotlights for me - their characters were better written and delivered. Last but not least, the two younger supporting actors Nam Da Reum and Shin Jae Ha were scene stealers and I'm looking forward to their new projects!
Such a gem! One of the best dramas of 2017! Totally recommended! Lee Yo Won and Ra Mi Ran were superb as always, and Choi Kyu Jin was such a warm presence... I'm gonna rewatch this one, for sure!
This drama is pure delight !!! Watched only two episodes so far, but the ahjummas rock it! This is real ACTING and not only eye candy appearances... The story is quite intriguing so far, while the music choice of Mikis Theodorakis from "Zorba the Greek" when they meet in their coffee club is superb!
Both main leads did a decent job, but... Their romance didn't persuade me (even though I figured pretty soon that it wasn't the main focus). Not one of the best dramas of this year, but not bad either. Just didn't click for me.
Kim Sun Ho stole the whole show! Every time he was on screen he was shining like a main lead. On the other hand, Lee Dan Ah's character was a total failure: selfish, rude, abusive, calculating... No wonder why it was so difficult to empathize with what the authors tried to present as strong-determined female lead with a painful past!
Not the best, but not that bad as many say...

Not for everyone...

Krystal, though...
