A beautiful, deeply humane story about family relationships, homophobia, prejudice, acceptance, regret and grief. With well-balanced emotional and comic moments, and without being over-dramatic, cheesy or preachy, this short drama was a bittersweet and heartwarming watching experience, that was worth every minute of it.
Delicate, beautifully affectionate story of a young woman's journey to self-awareness of her aromantic and asexual identity, and an honest, realistic representation of aroace people. Heartwarming and thought-provoking, with detailed attention to many issues it addresses and impeccable performances from Kishii Yukino and Takahashi Issei. That talented man never disappoints...
Enjoyable office slice of life comedy, without any unnecessary toxic rivalry, ex-lovers, birth secrets etc, and a great performance from Kim Hye Soo. Though the plot was a bit repetitive and predictable, the cool bad*ss character of miss Kim was a pleasure to watch :)
Uniquely absurd, superficial and provoking at first, it ended up being a refreshing, addicting and thought-provoking watch! Ohno Takuro with his Mary Poppins cross-dressing nanny style, motherly instincts and over-the-top musical scenes was a natural charmer :)
If you turn your brain off about the fact that the ML is a minor throughout the whole drama, then this is an entertaining rom-com with a lot of character development. Though the story is somewhat predictable and has many grey corners plot-wise, the natural acting and the quirky characters (kudos to grandma & butler!) made this unusual Cinderella story a pleasant watch.
I don't think i got the symbolisms very well, what were they?
I don't remember all the details tbh, but just a few things that came to mind: All sets and costumes were in tones of black and white to emphasise the difference between dark and light. The umbrella represents yin (which is associated with darkness, water and femininity), while the spear represents yang (which is associated with light, fire and masculinity). I hope I helped a bit :)
A slow-paced, reserved story of mourning and letting go, but most of all a story of two young women's friendship and love told in a flashbacks setup from both FLs points of view. Even with minimal dialogues, their looks and gestures are more than enough to express the depth of their feelings, their longing and unbreakable bond. With exceptional performances, especially from Kishii Yukino, beautiful cinematography and music and some stunning, extremely touching animation scenes, this film may not be for everyone, but it's worth a try if you are familiar with Nakagawa Ryutaro's works.
The story wasn't something new or outstanding, but the bad*ss office ladies' sismance trio was so very worth it! Three totally different characters united in such a great, strong team that could make the difference. Time well-spent :)
An interesting and touching story, with three cute main leads and a unique plot, though a bit confusing in some parts, probably because there were many different genres blended in it.
A poignant study of a father-daughter relationship, filial love, happiness, marriage, sacrifice, parting and moving on in life. A simple story, yet so affectionate, down to earth and elegant, with nuanced performances from both Hara Setsuko and Ryu Chishu, magnificent cinematography and some piercingly true quotes. Poetic cinema at its finest!

Heart-warming, heart-felt, heart-strong!
Amazing job, you two! Hwaiting! 💕❤️💕

Heartbreakingly sweet and touching.
Cute and rewarding :)

All the rest could've been so much better...

Nakajo Ayami's beauty and Sugino Yosuke' charms were undoubtedly a big plus!
