Heavy on politics and the backstabbing and manipulation it involves, a bit slow-paced, but the great cast and its acting made it a very interesting watch.
A difficult, really challenging and powerful film, about two disabled and marginalized people seeking human connection, communication, warmth and purpose. Brutally honest characters' depiction, gripping filming, fantastic acting from both leads (especially from Moon So Ri), a story out of most people's comfort zone, heartbreakingly emotional and provoking.
With a unique sense of (black) humor that probably isn't everyone's cup of tea, an unusual concept and story-telling, this short drama wasn't something extraordinary, as expected from its many Baeksang nominations. An interesting watch, but nothing very memorable or groundbreaking.
A bold social commentary disguised as a light road trip movie. Affectionate, full of heartwarming moments, yet delivering some subtle hints, really deep and dark, that makes it a fulfilling as well as a bittersweet experience.
Are there any other partners combinations left to explore? Are there any other stupid ghost appearances to happen? Are there any more crazy, unbelievable plots left for this writer to deliver? Can't believe that I'll still watch (or at least try to watch) season 4 when it comes out, lol!
A great cast, a compelling premise and a beautifully eerie atmosphere (if that makes sense). Unfortunately, the unnecessarily too much violence/gore, the short duration and consequently the under-developed story of most characters, didn't let this drama become something memorable. It had some strong moments, it was good for a one-time watch, but nothing above average...
Strong beginning, interesting premise, weak and unnecessarily complicated built-up, confusing time-travel back and forth, unsatisfactory answers and closure. Another lesson why not having high expectations is the wisest thing to do when starting a drama...
A bittersweet, intense, electrifying story about friendship, love, sexuality and yearning. Poignant filming and colouring, magical music, superb performances.
"Should we let things stand?" "I thought it might be nice... to have some time to not think."
A female centered, contemplative road trip movie which may be slow-paced, with a grey, mundane and melancholic tone, but in fact its serene, pensive and elegant composition was what made it beautiful.
A colorful, stylish, artsy journey in an eccentric, witty (as well as a bit loose and confusing) story of a cat and mouse courtship. Worth watching if only for Chris Doyle's magnificent cinematography (those close shots of green tea leaves in hot water were pure art!) and Jian Weng and Zhao Wei's intoxicating performances.
Much more than a sports movie about baseball! Tsutsumi Shinichi and Yagira Yuya were great in this emotional, healing story about character growth, making amends and reconciliation.

Easier said than done, but embracing and accepting oneself is difficult for most of us anyway...

When a dog's acting is far better than any actor's...
I will add them as soon as I watch them! (that's the only criterion I have tbh ^^)
