A great cast, a compelling premise and a beautifully eerie atmosphere (if that makes sense). Unfortunately, the unnecessarily too much violence/gore, the short duration and consequently the under-developed story of most characters, didn't let this drama become something memorable. It had some strong moments, it was good for a one-time watch, but nothing above average...
Strong beginning, interesting premise, weak and unnecessarily complicated built-up, confusing time-travel back and forth, unsatisfactory answers and closure. Another lesson why not having high expectations is the wisest thing to do when starting a drama...
A bittersweet, intense, electrifying story about friendship, love, sexuality and yearning. Poignant filming and colouring, magical music, superb performances.
"Should we let things stand?" "I thought it might be nice... to have some time to not think."
A female centered, contemplative road trip movie which may be slow-paced, with a grey, mundane and melancholic tone, but in fact its serene, pensive and elegant composition was what made it beautiful.
A colorful, stylish, artsy journey in an eccentric, witty (as well as a bit loose and confusing) story of a cat and mouse courtship. Worth watching if only for Chris Doyle's magnificent cinematography (those close shots of green tea leaves in hot water were pure art!) and Jian Weng and Zhao Wei's intoxicating performances.
Much more than a sports movie about baseball! Tsutsumi Shinichi and Yagira Yuya were great in this emotional, healing story about character growth, making amends and reconciliation.
How can you always make me add dozens of movies in my PTW list with your articles? Jokes aside, this wonderful work of yours could easily be a journal article! Keep up the good work, my friend :)
Enjoyable high school rom-com about inner beauty, self confidence, acceptance and character growth. Predictable but very charming, mainly due to both MLs, who were beautiful inside out :) A pleasant surprise!
A wonderful drama, full of talent and soul. Brilliant writing and acting, unique teamwork chemistry. Impressive character depictions and dialogues, perfectly balanced subplots, and some of the most fulfilling character development and healing progressions I've recently watched. Aragaki Yui and Ayano Go were outstanding, but I must admit that Shibata Kohei was the real scene-stealer, as one of the most adorable and considerate chiefs ever appeared in a drama. Wholeheartedly recommended!
One of the most interesting, informative and insightful articles I've read recently! And funny too :) Finally, someone said out loud how silly and nonsensical some drama/movie titles are! A great, fun article full of your hard, detailed work, with a delicate approach and respectful teasing. Really looking forward to your next project ^^
Though dated (some hairstyles and clothing were really awkward!), this is a very underrated rom-com. Many familiar clichés, a rather predictable plot, but not the usual evil second leads, objecting relatives and toxic revenge subplots. The FL was too naive and sometimes really annoying for my taste, but overall it was a pleasant, easy to watch story. I'd have enjoyed it -and rated- higher if I had watched it years ago ^^

When a dog's acting is far better than any actor's...
I will add them as soon as I watch them! (that's the only criterion I have tbh ^^)
