An original, well-crafted and convincing story, with well-written characters and excellent performances.
Even though the pacing got a bit slower during the last episodes, overall it was an intriguing, suspenseful and very enjoyable mystery/time altering drama.
Highly recommended :)
On Cities of Last Things Jan 10, 2021
An artistic, provocative and intriguing -both visually and contextually- noir film presenting three turning points of the protagonist's life in reverse chronological order.
Dystopian, bleak, emotionally raw watch at times, with stunning neon-textured cinematography and magnificent night shoots across city streets, this film is definitely not an easy watch but those who enjoyed ‘Chungking Express’ will probably like it too.

An informative documentaristic story, with a delightfully clumsy and cheerful FL that puts a smile in everyone's face!

Title Kyojo 2
Not as engaging as the first season, with less mystery elements and intriguing interactions, but still very enjoyable watch!

The same vibe - unconventional, unique and artistic- has the movie "Dolls" https://kisskh.at/2628-dolls
You can give it a try :)

Among the amazing cast, little cutie pie Park So Yi was the best!

Title Kikujiro
A quirky, playful, subtle but so vividly colorful road-trip story of an unusual friendship between a grumpy, cynical, foul-mouthed man and a young boy desperately wishing to see his mom.
Funny, heartwarming, non-sensical, dreamy, refreshing.
An underrated gem from undeniably talented Beat Takeshi, covered by the incredible music of Hisaishi Joe!

Title Invitation
Astonishing scenery, aesthetics and cinematography - well-built mystery, disorientation and fragmental revelation of a somewhat lacking story.

Another great article, dear friend!

The 1st episode was the weakest, with too much (imo unnecessary) gore, but it kept getting better after each episode.
I found myself rooting for most of the main characters and my fave was by far Jae Heon ♡
On My Love, Don't Cross That River Dec 25, 2020
A real story, with real people enduring everyday life, aging, illness and loss.
Even though there were some rather forced scenes where the lack of subtlety was very obvious, the couple's genuine love and affection -through small gestures and gentle strokes- made this 'documentaristic' movie really heartbreaking, but so worth watching it!

"Do what you can do. Even if it's a small thing, it is still fine."

A beautifully shot slow paced 'documentaristic' slice-of-life movie that leaves you with a heartwarming, comforting, yet melancholic and nostalgic feeling.
