Might be a stupid question lol, but is season two a continuation of season one or are they unrelated? I’m watching…
Stranger is not designed to have a continuation. So the story stops at S1. However, due to high demand - us fans, the writer created another story arch taking off from the S1. Not many characters are left from S1 in S2, but I'm sure everything/everyone will be connected one way or another. Good thing that you watch S1 first.

Is this related to s1?? Bcs i haven't watch it from s1..if its not i think i will just watch s2 if its was related…
Case-wise, it's not related - yet. Seeing that the only connection between S1 and S2 is the Chief Prosecutor Kang and Lee Yeon Jae. But yes, suggest you watch the first season. You won't regret it. It's THAT good!

Title Second Love
I think it's because I'm new to the community, but I don't actually know what "cringey" means in conjunction with…
Hmm.. cringey or not, is a matter of personal taste. To be fair, I didn't watch the whole drama, mainly because whenever I came across the scene of these two lovebirds, I got goosebumps all over, not in a good horror kinda feeling. So yes, Second Love is cringey to me because of the over-the-top love and unrealistic passion. I'm not against this type of love drama. I think dedicated obsessive passionate love can be a great theme, only if done well. Otherwise, it'll come across as cringey, cheap even. Is it only in Asian dramas? Hmm.. I can't say. I don't watch many international romance drama so can't give comparison, but some Asian dramas do tend to follow a stereotype or stereotypes. A really good really high quality drama/movie would not be cringey, I'm just saying.. ^^

Rest in Peace! Too sudden. His new drama and film are still lining up until 2021. This is so so so so sad. T_T

Can't wait! This will be my first K-drama after abstaining from K-drama since March!
S2 has different director. Should I be worried?

Haven't watched the drama. Figures, I should marathon read the novel first before watching it. To be honest, the novel is really draining, very exhausting and disturbing. I'm over 30s and to me YY is too immature, too violent, and very much like a loose canon. I sympathize with GQP and actually rooting for him to be with WJ.

There is a psychological concept of 'near enemy'; it's two emotions that look the same but are totally opposites - the one is healthy and the other's sick and twisted. For this story, it's Attachment masquerades as Love. What YY has for QGP is not love, it's attachment since he clings to him, manipulate, stifle and cripple GQP. To love means wants the best for others and want them to be happyy. Attachment takes hostages. Guess who's taking hostage over the other?

GQP's life is derailed because impulsive immature action from YY. Not sure if it's clear in the drama, but in the novel it's clear that GQP does not love YY but in a twisted way grows attached to him in the end. Stockholm syndrome perhaps? No idea. The whole thing is very disturbing for me. But then again it's only me. Others may have different opinions.

So, despite all this, should I watch the drama?

Title Irresistible Love 2 Spoiler
I didn't expect to loving this so much! I was tense the whole 2 movies! Hahaha. Their chemistry and sexual tension was BURNING. I was hyperventilating the whole time.

Watched the original ending then the happy ending.
I like the happy ending better. Though Shu Nian should have his happiness (though Xie Yan should have 'fixed' his face and leg with all that money), the least he can do.
The original ending is waay too tragic. Shu Nian has been through so much and he's genuinely kind and sincere, so to have him killed just like that, it's just not fair. And Xie Yan, with Shu Nian's death, he's practically dead as well. Tragic.
Before any of you say, that's just life. Well.. this is a movie, at the very least life should be a bit kinder to kind people in a movie. ^^

Just starting this.. now watching the beginning of Ep 2.
Some snippets of the background music sounds so similar to Inception's soundtrack - Time by Hans Zimmer. ^^

Title Meet Me after School Spoiler
Finally finished this drama so I will give a critical review. The last two episodes had conflict and character…
Agree with this assessment. This is hard to watch.
I think by now I'm old enough (too old even) to not romanticizing every kind of relationship. This is probably fine for those who truly understand that it's a fantasy/fiction and that it's not 'approved' in reality. As the adult here, Hijiri should be the voice of reason and logic. Just because Akira looks mature doesn't mean that he's mature enough to make sound decision.
I guess audience love this because this drama is using Hijiri's point of view - naturally, audience will relate more with Hijiri, thus more forgiving of her actions.

My first BL dramas and it's very well done. The only thing that bothers me is... the amount of smoking in both dramas, both active and passive. sigh

So cringey! Can't bear to watch but kinda curious how they end up.
So skipped most parts and finally jumped to last ep.
Verdict: oh well... at least I didn't waste too much time watching every eps.

Love this! Totally recommended if you're into police drama with good plots, but of course if you've seen too many, you can already tell who's the next victim or culprit! I marathoned this in half-day. All in all, well done.
