im currently on ep 36 but this started off so good and then took a horrid turn when they made the ml into a sleazeball that can't accept when a woman says no. it put me off their supposed love story so bad. also doesn't help that my pinkie finger has more sex appeal than he does. then you have her real father pimping her out to him too like are you kidding me?? you know she's the daughter of a convicted felon, in what world would a chaebol family ever accept her? she'll only end up hurt. realistic writing for her father should have been him being vehemently against the relationship until towards the end atleast. Anyway it's so hard to keep watching as I keep having to skip the main couple, I can't stand them. fml is good but the relationship was not written well and ruined it for me. I'm more invested in the 2 other couples. miran/gorae & funny hongjoo with the dad. Definitely doesn't help that we only see gorae miran for 2 mins every episode. their story is far more cutesy & believable I need more of them. overall plot is great so far minus the main couple.

idk how true the 15 days only broadcast rumor is but im actually more worried about it being released on a holiday week. dnad lost viewership ratings during national day week, most people are celebrating the holidays and don't have time for tv series.

And as far as i know, cnetizens don't generally hope for a big ip to fail when the script is solid and doesnt stray from source material as most of them are the consumers of said ip

plot is definitely cliche and overused indeed but the novel & ip is very popular so a successful drama is almost guaranteed which is really all that matters. but yes agreed about the intense gatekeeping of the ml lmao, yet I feel like if anyone can pull off those divine features described it'll be czy. excellent hair, makeup & costume team like prince feng and he'll exceed all expectations. I've also seen his name come up a lot on weibo to play the ml. him & lui haocun for the fml
