yeah there was definitely a lot of back & forth between china & the war country so it does start to get a bit confusing trying to remember the exact timeline, but from what i remember. after he saves her the first time they met, she didnt see his face as he was wearing a military mask. they both went back to china after this incident. she kept thinking about him and drove to the military base in china to try to find him but she didnt find him. they finally met again at an airport in china, he was controlling the crowd at the airport then, she remembered him by his silhouette and was pushing through the crowd to get to him, when she finally got to him she yanked off his mask (lol) to see his face. i dont remember if this was intentional or not. she saw his face i think he recognized her too. she still had his red bracelet and kept trying to return it to him. she started developing feelings for him in china. then the restaurant incident happened in china with her colleagues when shen bei brought lizan and introduced him as her bf. songran was heartbroken and decided to stop having feelings for him. then they both went back to the war country and met again there. i think this was when mutual feelings started, interview at the miliary base & candy happened. i think they both went back to china again after the candy incident. btw this is where it starts to get mixed up for me too. i dont remember if candy was the same incident as when he was too close in distance to the bomber that pretended to be a helpless lady or when the family was killed and he blamed himself

do you mean the chinese district? I think the dongguo referenced in the novel/drama as the east country is a fictional war torn country. Its not part of china and they don't speak mandarin. in the drama they're depicted as middle easterns
