the first few days they styled it horribly on czy but they fixed it as the days went by. it looks a lot better to me now, they've fixed length, curls, & forehead wig distance to suit his face better. now im actually more worried about his character than styling. need him to be very central to the plot and not just some doaway love struck character that makes no difference to the plot

mdl users complain about everything lol. this drama is a classic among classics, if it's not for you then maybe you need to stop watching dramas in general
honestly everything you said, hard agree and more. he's just so visually striking that it's almost unreal. all these drama crews should be thankful to have him. visuals are just as important as plot these days. strong visual pairings will keep your audience hooked even with a mediocre plot meanwhile an ugly ml can turn audience away in an excellent plot
the story started when tilan was 6, jichang was 10/11 and general tang was 15. then they grew up together. they're following the novel but not exactly, in the novel they weren't drinking in the swing scene. also yeah I agree about the hair. his face is so perfect that he can pull almost anything. most actors playing roles of generals never have their hair completely up like that, you'll notice they always give them side bangs infront. not everyone can pull off the full ponytail look like czy does and still look perfect
