so in the manhwa, the reason why jaemin rejected daon is bcs he knew that the one daon actually liked was soohyun, not him. and daon was just confused about his feelings, so that's the reason why he rejected daon.

unfortunately life DOES works like that. healing from your traumas by focusing on yourself first is the best scenario someone would do if they were a real person in the real world.

but again, this story isn't based on real world. and I've read the manwha before the series even aired, so i knew who daon will end up with. and I've never actually set my hope high about the ending. since what i wrote there was only "my" best scenario of this series if i was the writer.

yall aren't ready for this conversation, but Daon DOES NOT deserves Sunghyeon.
the best and the most realistic ending i would potrayed if i was the writer of this series is, Daon choosing to stay alone because he knows that Sunghyeon deserves someone better than him.
I'd rather see Daon end up alone in the end to focus on himself first and deal with his traumas, than seeing him jumping to another relationship knowing well that he hasn't dealed and healed from his traumas completely.

EXACTLY DAON just go sleep with Soohyun right after you're watching someone that clearly loves you crying while begging you not to go with him.
