I only watched it because of the main characters. The only novelty in the story is the hypnosis, it was not exploited. In the end, it became a clichéd political drama. With unresolved conflicts. The supporting characters were thrown in and out of the story, so it was unnecessary to get to know their backstory (it was difficult to relate to them). The acting also left something to be desired. The characters only had a past and status, their character, emotions, or inner qualities, lovable habits were minimal or nonexistent. The story is dry and halting without romance. It is impossible to watch it again. I'm sorry because it could have been better, but I can't rate it better than 7.5.
The brothers and sisters couldn't deny each other. They have similar tastes in love. 😂 1. They have difficult family circumstances (preferably orphans without father-in-law and mother-in-law) 2. They are attractive 3. They are in a difficult financial situation 4. They are difficult to get (they can only be loved platonically, secretly for years) 5. Someone else is also pursuing them obsessively, sickly
This is a comedy, not a heroic novel. Perfect characters are not funny. ML is not perfect, he is meddling, manipulative, and sometimes irresponsible, and petty. BUT... When the FL asked for the highest branch from the old house's peach tree... THEN.... -he didn't ask why - he didn't cheat on the task... -he didn't procrastinate
How many men in real life would bring a branch from a closer tree How many man would bring a branch from the bottom of the tree How many men would buy a sapling instead How many men would put it off until spring when it blooms or if I'm on a business trip anyway
And how many women would look at their husband's hand...instead of the jeweled branch Very good drama... has a lot to say
1 ,happy 2ml's marriage will not be concluded, but it will cause misunderstanding 3, Fl survives
In the novel, the man's status is higher (chieftain) than the woman's (the woman is just a merchant family). Both the man and the woman think that the other is with them only out of interest and not out of true love. (They often manipulate the other and don't dare to be honest) The man wants to create a tribal alliance, he should accept a wife from 3 other tribes. The woman is already pregnant by the man, she doesn't want to be his concubine, she jumps off the cliff to escape from the man. I don't think the story will be exactly like that in the movie.
I'm watching Flourished Peony and Moonlight Mystique, but only because there's nothing else. I don't know which is worse. The first one is just plain boring, and in the second one the supporting characters are better than the main characters. Balu brings the same character as in Story of Kunning Palace. But the chemistry is even worse than there. Guardians of the Dafeng is not my case. The popularity of dramas often only reflects the size of the biased fan base. If Perfect Match is like this, we'll see a terribly disappointing start to January.

The pace is good, the costumes are nice.
No unnecessary side stories. ❤️
