I was really looking forward to this series. I read the novel several times while I was waiting for the broadcast. The beginning of the novel was quite drawn out, so I was glad that they changed it. I really liked it from the beginning. Now I'm starting to worry. The movie is much darker compared to the atmosphere of the novel. The long-awaited night together has more of a funeral atmosphere than sexual tension. I hope they return to the novel's line, it won't be some predictable, standard, trite story.

If you really liked Ding Yuxi , you don't bring your female idol's 20 million fan base here to compete with a young talented actress. Go see their variety show: As You Wish: Love You Seven Times. No one else would be a good FL for you. This criticism is unnecessary here.
Now that I've watched the whole thing again: There are a lot of big cuts in it. (Which is good, because it speeds up the events, although there are places where it makes the part funny) But in ep 27 14p46 sec, the investigation was cut down a lot. Do you think they will release cut scenes?
