I could always use another podcast to listen to especially about dramas. I hope this works out for you guys. Also…
Yes! In fact, we encourage you to ask questions. :)

we'll try our best to answer it in our next episode.
I just started listening to you guys, but my first thought is that u are speaking english so well! I will listen…
Thanks for your words of support! ^^ Glad to hear it - as the flow of our conversation was what we were the most worried about.
We plan to release a new episode every other week. So the next one should be out on February 11th. Keep an eye out!
Question: Who was the cameo in ep20? The young new trainee at the company that Dal Po seemed to remember. Anyone…
Riiiiiight! Thank you for clearing that up! <3
I wonder where I've seen him before - outside Pinocchio. I remember looking him up when I saw him in the first episodes but nothing in this filmography rings a bell.

Wait... wasn't this going to be 20 eps? Why the cut to 16? Bad ratings?
I agree. Shin Ha Kyun and Jang Na Ra should be GOLD together... but these characters (especially hers) simply weren't written well.
Been struggling to keep going with it for the last 4 eps or so... Apparently I wasn't the only one.
Well, if nothing else... the title of this drama is making all the Swedes on kisskh collectively go "What the ----?!" and make themselves know. ;)
Hejhej! Om ni inte redan har mig på er lista; skicka gärna en friendrequest. :)

@ForeverHN Thank you!! Yes, that's exactly how I feel.
That's it. You're so getting a friend request after this. ;)
I have lost any and all desire to see where this drama is going. It's just too strong a reminder of the ugly flip-side to the K-culture that I love. Why waste my time on this where there's K-drama with sensible storylines that I could be watching?

I so want you to be right. Don't want to see Joo Sang Wook involved in something so utterly repulsive and shallow. :(
But I fear that no matter what the end game will be... you can't get past the message that was conveyed in the first episode.

I'm with you. I'd hoped, since this is 8 years after "200 pounds beauty", that attitudes had changed a bit and the message would be slightly different and more positive. Sadly, it doesn't look like that will be the case here.

Things are different in Korea. I know that. If you go there you will see ads promoting plastic surgery _everywhere_. And while some people will vehemently deny they've had any work done... it's alarmingly common. Not just among celebrities.
It makes me sad.
In Europe and America the beauty standards are ridiculous too... not to mention impossible for most people to achieve. Heck, even the supermodels are all Photoshop. But at least our media tends to not make fun of people who don't live up to those standards. They at least TRY to project the message that your personal qualities are more important than your looks.

It seems like this show is telling us:
* Get some plastic surgery. Everyone's doing it!
* If you're fat; you're also inevitably clumsy and nobody would like you. Ever.
* The only way a fat woman can find love and happiness is if she transforms herself completely.
I love me some Joo Sang Wook (and especially in another romcom)... but the premise of this show is making me feel very sad. No "making the best of what you got" or "valuing the beauty within" here... At least not until you've fixed your outside first.
I agree with some points wholeheartedly, and disagree with others. Catherine DeBourgh as a kdrama mom is pretty…
I don't completely agree. Darcy snubbing Lizzy at the dance... in the open, in front of her peers, was the 19th century equivalent to what GJP did to that poor girl who tried to give him a cake.
GJD made her an enemy of the F4.
I see the bullying that GJD had to endure, after that, as the modern version of the gossip and odd looks that Lizzie would have received after being snubbed.
