Why, oh why, do I watch this? I have so many issues with it.
1. The successful business woman - who is ALWAYS portrayed as a cold and calculating bitch.
2. How quickly a loving marriage fell apart at the mere hint of the man being attracted to someone else.
3. The bratty younger sister makes me want to gouge my eyes out.... No, wait. Hers. That's better.
And yet I keep watching. WAE?!
Don't think I can stop now. I'm past the 3 episode mark. (Which is what I usually give shows I'm unsure about.) Have to finish it now. Woe is me.
I don't care what he looks like. He's SERIOUSLY impressive in his role in High School King. Playing conflicted and troubled characters is his forte. He really wowed me in this and White Christmas.
I didn't dare to read all of it since I haven't finished yet... but the bits that I did read; I liked. It should be very helpful for those on the fence about watching it. :)
I also felt the same way. Maybe it's because I expected more after reading the reviews but I was a tad disappointed…
Yes. I suspect that there is a bit of nostalgia involved when some people review this drama. 10 years ago, when this drama aired, I'm sure that I too would have appreciated this more.
Or perhaps I would have appreciated it more, today, if someone had pointed out a shortcoming or two. There were none to be found. Hence this review. ;)

That did the trick. Thank you! ;)
I have a suggestion...
I really like how you can create your own lists of favorite dramas and actors now.
What would be even better is if you could add comments about why you like that drama or actor. (So that if you want to write something and personalize your lists entries - that comment will replace the default description text.)
Perhaps that can be something to keep in mind for a future update? :)
My friends and I all cheered in the first episodes when it looked like one of the characters might be bisexual. Now it seems clear that he is, and it warms my heart to see it. Brave step forward for K-drama. Fighting!
PS. And also... Ep 4 was a-ma-zing!!!!! First 20 minutes, the middle part and the end. All of it. ;)

I really enjoyed this show...I watched the entire show in a 2 day sitting since I couldn't stop watching. This…
I just finished this yesterday as well, after a marathon session. I really enjoyed it, even though there were some "nobel idiocy"-moments (and just plain idiodic moments). It made me go through boxes of tissues, in a good way. However, the ending made me feel like I might need therapy after this. ;)
I want more short dramas like this one!
10-15min per episode and nothing but the romance. No boring filler! (Like annoying parents or boring corporate intrigue.)
(Although... yes, the kiss could have been a lot better. Almost as bad as a Park Shin Hye-kiss.) ;)
Another example would be another drama at the background of the main drama. Example in "Last Cinderella"…
There was a lot going on in that bar. ;)
I like the fact that they made the bar owner gay (without pointing fingers at him and making him out to be a freak). They didn't have to do that and it was a nice touch.

That's a nice example! Now that you mention it I vaguely remember that. It's definitely a nice touch when extras get to do something else other than just talk or walk in the background. :)
I remember being quite shocked by the scene, in the 2005 movie adaptation, when Mr. Bingley entered Jane's room when she was sick.
A gentleman entering a lady's chamber? Unthinkable! And while she was in a state of undress? Would never ever ever EVER happen!
But we have to forgive these liberties and look at the bigger picture, don't we? :)

I just sent you a pm about it.
