yeeessss please let me know! i highly recommend reset! also someday or one day (taiwanese) if you're looking for a romance element. i'll have to add better days to my list too. and speaking of writing, it seems like dramas are only written by one person. it's a shame bc i'm so used to shows having teams of writers. i'm sure they're given assists but the responsibility falls on the shoulder of just the screenwriter. these production companies are stingy

i've come to realize i actually do kinda like romances, i'm just not a huge fan of kdrama ones bc they're so corny. i can sometimes see the cringe as kinda camp tho so i'll end up enjoying it for the wrong reasons (like boys over flowers lol). but yeah people for sure hype up dramas bc they like the star. not bc they're particularly talented or the plot but bc they're just obsessed. and they take any criticism PERSONALLY. i don't blame you for being cautious

i thought the same thing when i watched cdramas. feel free to check out my list since we have similar taste. i've been branching out to other asian thrillers since it seems like i only really enjoy 1 or 2 kdramas a year lately ;_;

there have been a few times now where i'll watch a highly rated drama only to find out it was complete shit and the people hyping it up were fans of the actors 💀 this is why i've just resorted to either reading negative reviews first or looking through people's watchlist to see if we've rated things similarly. i guess this is also why i've started watching cdrama thrillers lately. their dramas aren't as overinflated as kdramas are, plus they're less predictable and don't tend to add unnecessary romance

i just read your exchange and they made some valid points but it doesn't change the fact that luck was still a huge factor in her revenge. for someone who's had 20 years to plan, there should be no room for error. but i suppose in dramaland, i've learned to just shut off my brain and suspend belief with certain dramas because nothing will make 100% sense lol
