I really enjoyed the mystery and suspense of this drama in the beginning BUT the last episode killed it for me - and many other others considering the drop in ratings. It seems as if the writer was unnecessarily forcing an open ending when the storylines were coming to a natural end. Extremely disappointing.
Nothing of the kind. Just because it's not your cup of tea is no excuse to wrongly accuse the writers of doing…
I'm not trying to convince you, just simply replying. Like I said earlier, I didnt like this drama because of the writing, not the other way around as you're trying to put it.
You seem to have a problem with criticism of this drama because you loved it so much but not everyone is going to have the same opinion.

I comprehended just fine. You seem to think my complaints about the writing are because I didnt like the drama but it's the opposite.
I've watched plenty of slow burn, intricate shows & films so I have plenty of patience to sit through and wait until things unravel, but when it gets to the point where I've watched ~90% of the entire drama and there's no hint of things getting better (as with this) and where I can still keep up with the plot after skipping most of each episode's scenes, I'll drop.
As I said, I was a big fan of Stranger so I know the writer does great work but I didn't find this to have that same merit.
I loved Stranger (and I am looking forward to Stranger 2) but I just couldn't watch this one. I watched the first…
I almost stuck to the end but I had to drop too. I don't mind a slow paced storyline either but this was so boring, I couldn't take it anymore!! I found myself skipping more and more scenes without noticing a difference in the pacing.
Dropped. Big fan of Stranger so I thought there would be similar themes and writing but this was a poorly structured, boring mess. Such a shame considering the great caliber of the actors and how technically well made it was.
I gave up on the show for the first time after 5 mins as it looked like a crime procedural ..didn't want to watch…
I agree! I started the first few episodes over a year ago but it was a bit confusing and convoluted. Something in me told me to pick it up again a couple of weeks ago after scrolling through netflix and I literally just finished up the last episode. I hate that it took me so long to finally do it! It was everything I was searching for in other mystery/crime kdramas.
