I'm not into purely romance based dramas so read this with a grain of salt: I thought it was good, not great. I can understand why so many people liked this but it was just too cliched for me. The villains were cartoonishly evil and I don't think the main leads had passion or chemistry. The 2nd half became too melodramatic with a lot of staring, crying, slow mo hugging, and minute long, 360 shots of them kissing to the point where I found myself having to fast forward through more and more. I preferred the earlier episodes tbh
The first 4 eps were amaaaaazing and even more exciting than the first season but the last 2 eps dragged it down for me. It went from jaw dropping to being completely lackluster.
Seems like there was something missing. Maybe a lack of character development? Can't put my finger on it
I gave this a chance despite the neg comments and after 11 eps, I gotta agree and drop this. Found it extremely boring and also couldn't help but compare this with one of my fav dramas: Go Back Couple
This drama reminds me of Voice also starring Jang Hyuk except this time he's relying on the FL's memory. I like it so far since I'm a fan of crime dramas but it's pretty much like most other dramas in the genre
Yu Ri. The reveal was maybe midwayish through the drama. He's a jerk in this so definitely don't watch lol.
I found it slow too, particularly towards the end.
I completely disagree on their marriage though. There's no excuse to cheat. Matter of fact, I think its even worse that he did so during such a traumatizing time for the both of them. I can understand that he was grieving and found comfort in another woman but he was so selfish to disregard the commitment they made for each other. Ultimately, he's a grown man that has the ability to control his actions. If he was so tired of the marriage, he should have brought up divorce and pursued Yu Ri after it was finalized.
I love how Mi Na's husband is the complete antithesis of Sung Jun. He's sweet, caring, and never quit sticking by her.
Slow like everyone said. Didn't get hype until maybe half way through for me. Interesting perspective to watch the cult evolve and the manipulation involved in the townspeople trusting the elder. Still much prefer the first Save Me though.
Dropped. Was expecting more of a serious crime plot before this came out and was disappointed at how light this drama was. More power to you if that's what you like but it wasn't my cup of tea at the time of watching this. Even then, I didn't find SJS to have any chemistry with the lead actress either. Best part was his interaction with the kids.
