literally where does the story go if they were to keep the momentum they had from ep1-3 and continued to play…
couldn't agree more. i think people are saying chota and karube's deaths were unnecessary because they occurred early on but it's what was needed to motivate arisu's character to do well. iirc, he brought them up in every game after and it helped him greatly in the end with aguni
Just finished and I'm a bit underwhelmed. Absolutely loved that our favs came back but maaaaaan was I bored. Other commenters are saying it's just the first half and I mean, they're right that it does take some time to create build up....however, the corruption reveal this time around didn't give me the mind blowing pay off I expected.
I heard a lot of buzz from this drama, good buzz, but my question to all those who finished the series, is it…
I just finished penthouse and the two have completely different vibes. Penthouse is more over the top, cheesy, kinda one note. TWoTM is better written and more mature.
The ending for this drama is ambiguous so don't start it if you're looking for nicely packaged closure. Personally, I liked it but I understand that's not everyone's cup of tea.
Ending aside, it's still a fantastic drama I think everyone should watch. Probably my favorite of 2020!
major issue was hyeon chae's character. the reveal was so underwhelming. i looked at my screen like "uh is that…
right?! when the detective told her she could've just divorced him, i was yelling at my screen like "exactly!! what was the reason??"
I'm also a bit pissed that do gyun died and didn’t face any consequences. he got the heroic death while she suffers alone. it should be both of them rotting in jail!
this was amazing! top quality acting, storyline, ost, production, direction. definitely underrated and underhyped
major issue was hyeon chae's character. the reveal was so underwhelming. i looked at my screen like "uh is that it?" lmao. we knew from earlier scenes that she was greedy and manipulative so i guess i was expecting more than that... probably would've found her more interesting if her character was better fleshed out and intertwined with the main story
I liked Kairos more than Signal.....signal is cool but Kairos thrill is another level
just finished. i'll admit i'm biased bc signal was my first drama so i don't think this drama rates as high but it's a very close second in the time travel genre. super well done!
Loved that the cinematography made it feel like a 10 part film. Very gorgeously done for a drama.
As far as the plot goes: eh. Nearly all characters are unlikeable and I seemed to drop off interest in the middle. I'd like to know what happens to the characters in the future but not enough to sit through a potential extra 10 episodes in the maybe future :/
If I have one complaint about the ending, it's that they spent too much time trying to make us believe Eun Soo…
I agree. after all the pain we watched eun soo suffer, I'm so disappointed that they 1) waited for the mom reveal with eun soo until the last half of the last episode and 2) didn’t show enough scenes of them together after that revelation. feels like we were robbed of seeing them happy together for more than the final minute
As someone who usually gravitates towards fluffy romance, would you guys recommend this for a watch? I personally…
the few scenes that are there are cute but I don't think the leads had much chemistry. maybe it was bc the fl's character was meant to be a bit reluctant? at most they held hands and said they loved each other. either way, I still enjoyed watching them and it was a nice break from the chaos of the rest of the drama
Hope there'll be a season 3.
