TW is a slice of life youth drama and LR is a romcom. Almost all light hearted kdramas have all the ingredients you named. LR had more romance between the lead couple than both the couple of TW put together. TW is entirely based on the highschool life while LR has 3 timeline. TW's music don't even come anywhere close to LR whose multiple songs are well known and has been trending on music charts. For a drama that spend a significant amount of time in creating a band, TW had mediocre music and forgettable songs. Also let's not talk about the last two episodes of TW which didn't even had proper editing and no continuation while LR gave a proper ending to the leads and tied all loose ends. Both the dramas didn't had any explanation or detailing to the time travel aspect. So both are same in that department. The only place TW was better is in exploring more relationships than just romance. It gave significant importance to friendship and family than LR since it's a slice of life youth drama. LR's entire focus was just on the leads and their relationship with each other. If anything TW should be compared to reply 1988 or 18 again or go back couple. Reply 1988 still remains superi because of the acting, execution and storyline. I really enjoyed watching TW but it seems like hardcore TW fans are just bitter that their fav drama didn't blew up like LR and is hell bend on comparing the two to feel superior. I have already said both dramas are good in their own ways but you cannot even handle that.

It's just used as a comical and adoring way. Looser in love. I guess it's because the girl has an upper hand in the relationship and the guy will always willingly loose for her.
The drama had a SML just for the sake of having a SML. I completely forgot about him in the last two episodes and when he was shown in the last episode I suddenly remembered a character like that was in the drama. 😂

I am in a mood of watching low rated dramas. So I continued this along with nevertheless and it was exactly as I expected. Below average and dull. The first couple of episodes were pretty interesting and decent but it soon go down hill. I don't know if I fast forwarded this one more or nevertheless. This drama has one of the most boring and aimless villains I have watched. The only improvement in cew is that he graduated from highschool and became a teacher. The fl wasnt annoying but she wasn't interesting either. The funniest character was the nephew of the ml. I guess he just likes weird and unconventional things. First he had a crush on the fl because she turns into a dog and then starts liking the sfl because she is weird and mysterious.
How is Twitter more positive about LR than mdl? Twitter is literally like the most toxic place on social media and all I am seeing is positive reviews of LR with 100s and 1000s of like for it.
The drama had so many familiar faces. Inhyuk looked hot in the 3-4 scenes he appeared. He was such a cartoon in lovely runner but really attractive in this one. 🤭
