There are a set of JCW fans who only want him to do macho cool characters like K2 and healer and jcw nowadays does dramas where his characters are regular day to day guys. He barely does rich and cool guy kind of roles.

The dad mad me a pendulum. In one scene I hated him but when he is shown to miss his wife he made me teary eyed. It broke me when he said he is loosing him memories and hebis afraid he will eventually forget his wife and that made him more angry at the fl's mom more.
Yong pil learned how to love from his father because he is also someone who dedicates himself completely to the person he loves.

If some people don't like rom coms and fluffy romance then just don't watch this drama. Some people simply force themselves to watch it because it's popular and then hate on it saying why is it popular and then compare it to dramas with completely different genre (mostly serious genres) and act like they have superior taste and way above people who likes these dramas.
Also if some have a tendency of hating of female leads simply because the ml shed two three tears due to her actions just go and watch BL dramas. They are fine with whatever ml makes the fl goes through but dare the fl do something that makes the ml cry.

There are only very few genuine reviews who watched it and gave constructive criticism and was respectful. Most of the ones leaving hate comments don't even look like they watched this drama properly. It's like they know the overall story and then pass their comments.

Do you think getting bulletproof vest and guns are a piece of cake? Do you know the rules and regulations Asian countries have to legally own a gun? The entire world don't have USA rules where anyone can own a gun.
If having crazy teenage fans is more than enough for a celeb to own a gun then every single popular k-pop idols will own a gun and will be walking with multiple bodyguards on their day to day life.
Do you want sol to make sunjae live in constant fear of getting killed and lock him up?

She is shown to be a regular citizen not a secret agent with years on immese training to take down a psycho killer.
She didn't screw up a single chance she got. The firt time she had no idea why she was there and still she managed to save her mom's hand from burning. In the first two times she thought sunjae committed suicide because of depression and not murdered.
The second time she did save herself from the taxi driver and she went back to the future. That taxi driver after months came back of 19yr old Sol who has no memory of this guy or her previously getting kidnapped. Sunjae saved her. It's only the third time she knew exactly what's going on and her main motive was to make sure the taxi driver never sees sunjae's face and if it wasn't for sunjae digging things on his own and finding out everything, she would have easily saved herself and sunjae. She had taesung's dad informed about her whereabouts and he was looking after her.

Did you watch the drama properly or kept fast forwarding it?
If she avoids the taxi driver, he will go after her again in the future and at that time the 19yr old Sol who has no idea about the taxi driver will have to face him and as fate has it sunjae will again save her and the taxi driver will try to kill him 14yrs later.
She cannot plan to kill the taxi driver. All she can do is get him jailed and he will be back 14yrs later.
She cannot run away and avoide the situation.

What's more pathetic is judging someone else and calling them pathetic

Comparing a melodrama to a rom com?
It's a fantasy rom com and it don't claim to be something else.

Most of them just fast forward the drama with a pretext of hating it anyway.

It happens to all rom coms. Some people thinking hating on rom coms make them look superior and more matured.

As if k-pop idols don't have 30+ yr old fangirls. Most of the k-pop groups who are in the industry for 10+yrs have fans in their late 20s and 30s and they started stanning them in their teens. She is in her 30s and not 50s and she clearly knows her boundaries.

You spend too much of your precious time watching a teenage drama, hating on it and the people who likes it and also decided to waste time on it by commenting on it.

Forced my friend to watch it and now she is obsessed as well. She bingewatched it in a day.

Then write a drama on your own with a sfl like that instead of saying this drama needed a whole new character when it's clearly established sunjae is not someone who is gonna be close to anyone unlike sol who is a friendly person in general and had a solid friendship with taesung.
Since it's a fantasy rom com, why not just add unicorns as well just for the sake of it. It already had rainbows. 🤣

If I remember correctly it was indicated that yi Chan's education was taken care of by Cheong ah's father and he eventually went to the same place as Cheong ah.
In the past cheong ah got distant from her father and that evil witch ended up having his property and that's why they were poor. But after the time travel things changed and Cheong ah and yi Chan's ended up inheriting everything.
I don't get how yi Chan and cheong ah don't remember eun gyeol's face.

This drama's storyline didn't require a sfl so there wasn't a sfl. It's as simple as that.
There are dramas with sfl but no SML as well and there are dramas were the sfl and SML are a couple and both don't have feelings for the leads. It's based on a story requirement.
I don't get why you are insisting that this drama should have had an entirely new character simply because you want it and not because the story wants it.

I don't think everyone only remembers bws. Bws surely is the new hot thing but hyeyoon is well respected in Korea for her acting. She was highly appreciated for her avting in all emotional scenes. She also already had a strong fanbase.
People were already aware about hyeyoon when LR aired. Bws was the new thing for everyone and that's why everyone wanted to know more about him than hyeyoon.

Fans are literally making a mountain out of a mole and creating unwanted drama around khy and bws. Maybe withdrawal syndrome is making them act out.

The SML was needed for the taxi driver storyline and the dude had more feelings for sunny than Sol. His crush on the fl wasn't even that big of a deal and they didn't had too many scenes together either. The drama never made him look like a typical SML whose only job was to go after the fl even if she likes someone else.

They only showed two male characters pursuing her and the ml had multiple women going head over heels for him.
The SML was not there just to be an unwanted romantic interesting. He and his father were directly involved with the taxi driver storyline. He literally changed the fate of the leads and helped them get their happily ever after.
The drama did had a sfl and that was Sol's friend and she and her brother were the secondary couple. Why does a drama need one sfl and one SML? So if a drama has one guy after the fl, then one girl needs to be after the ml to balance things out or something?
They have made it more than obviously that sunjae is an introvert and due to his swimming career barely attended regular school. There is a scene were he searches for sol in school and some girls sees him and says why they have never seen someone as good looking as him.
In college he chose PT, and few girls chose that course and that too in 2009 which explains why there was only one girl who used to hang out with him and his friends. Also sunjae literally said girls and guys cannot be friends. Then he became a celeb and had girls of all ages drooling over him.
Sunjae is an introverted guy and Inhyuk is literally the only friend he had. When he barely makes friends with other guys how will he have female friends. He downright rejects any advances made on him by any girl whose name isn't Imsol.
