i watched this one 6 -7 months ago.. it started off amazingly but got boring in 2nd half and the only reason i kept watching was because i wanted to know what happened in the past... i remember crying my eyes out when her first lover pulled the sword towards him and hugged her... i liked him and their story way more than the lead couple's story... i so wanted her to go with the old lover... both their story and their chemistry were so much better.... i recently watched just their flashback scenes and cried again... i hated how rushed his ending was...

okay... since an average kdrama FL is mostly shown to be weak and submissive i thought the list will be more about strong female leads... i only read the discription of FL from dramas i have seen... my bad... i have only seen iotnbo, hdl, mlfts and graceful family in the list and all these dramas are mostly famous for their female leads... the FL in 365 is shown to be smarter than the ML at solving the mysteries... its a good drama and only has 12 episodes...
i think female leads from suspense thrillers like the flower of evil, 365: repeat the year and signal were much stronger and smarter than go moo young, jang manyool and chae songyi... except for the wonderful wardrobe and some sassy comebacks they all kind of became weak characters or lost the spark when they fell in love with the male leads... jang man yool didnt become weak but she kind of lost her initial spark by the second half...

absolutely, although i want to see more scenes of some characters i dont think its dragging anywhere... i guess they could have saved 4-5 mins if they dont repeat the same scenes from the previous episode... like some episodes start with a flashback and in the present they again show the scene with which the last episode ended... they are clearly concentrating more on the emotional aspect of the lead's relationship rather than the romantic aspects... the only romantic scenes were when they were dating in highschool... it was the same even for go back couple...
what is with the weird makeup for male characters nowadays? imoogi seems to have too much foundation and glossy lipstick on him... it was extra obvious on his scene with lee rang as lee rang's makeup looked so natural... in the last 4-5 days i have noticed greasy makeup for male characters in all the 3 dramas i saw... its so bad that my entire focus shifts to the bad make up... same happened in 18 again as well and that too with 2 male characters in the drama... i watched the first 4-5 episodes of clean with a passion for now and the makeup of the male lead there was also too obvious and made him look weird... i dropped the drama because of how distracting the bad makeup was...
