she is suited more for movies...

i liked the speech of grandpa and the final scene b/w HJ and his father... those were very emotional.. also the scene where HH says to his mother that she raised a good guy... but not the over all episode like how the journalist is now after doha just because she hates his manager, the scenes b/w HJ and JH, unwanted fiction b/w HJ and his manager etc... i also wished there was more emotional scenes b/w HJ and his friends...

i also liked the old manager... he might be twisted but he is good at his job... when HJ's manager was struggling to save HJ from even the slightest controversy, he was handling doha's real controversies like a pro...

but the cutest being in real life... :)

for me BR was much better than this one... even though it had some flaws it also had some really good scenes and better romance even though there wasnt any romance... the characters looked more real with equal level of positive and negative qualities including the leads... in ROY the male lead was perfect to the level he dont even look human and the bad guys were just bad... every character was one dimensional... also the acting of the entire cast was better in BR... in ROY except for 2-3 characters none of the others acting was praise worthy...
with BR i had some kind of feelings after each episode ended whether it was happy, sad or frustrated... i felt literally nothing for this one...

Out of her co-stars, I like her the most with ji chang wook...
I have seen shopping King Louis till ep 10 or 11 and it was really funny and cute...
Since she has the right amount of matured look she looks good with cute guys like d.o and hyungsik as well as matured older guys like ji chang wook,seo in guk and the lead from 365...

365 is a fatansy suspense thriller and only 12 episodes... If you like that genre give it a try... It's a good drama but highly underrated since it don't have any big star cast... I guess nam ji Hyun is the most well known name in the cast...

we will never know if her character was like this on paper itself or became like this after all the cutting and editing unless park bo gum speaks about it herself... we all know how the male lead's scenes got cut down to the level he looked like a supporting character in cheese in the trap only because park hae jin publically talked about it...

the thing that irked me about this drama is how the journalist got away with everything she did... she learned nothing from what she did to HJ... now she is after doha just because she hates his manager... doha might be a jerk but its clear that he reached where he is due to hard work and the dude didnt had a good life growing up... doha did literally nothing to her for her to ruin his reputation or career... i dont hate the ex-ceo or HH's mother even though some of their actions were irritating like i hate the journalist... the CEO has a love-hate feeling for HJ and HH's mother is just overly obsessed with her children as her entire life revolves around them... even though she comes off as very shallow she inserted good qualities in her children... HH might have been quite irritating when it came to JH but he is a good guy... her relationship with HJ's mother was also fun to watch... she clearly loves HJ's mother but she dont want to make it obvious...

HJ's brother and grandpa are my most favourite characters in the show...

i understand people's disappointment with the lack of storyline for JH... this one is park so dam's first work after parasite and she is known to be a good actress... so everyone expected her to have an equally significant role... she might not have a crazy fan following like park bo gum but is a good enough actress to get a role as important as the male lead...

as long as nam ji hyun is the female lead, the chemistry is guaranteed to be off the charts... i have seen 5 dramas of her and she had wonderful chemistry with every single one of them.. even with her 365:repeat the year costar although they didnt had any romance...

It's how the drama turned out overall.. like some characters and relationhsip lacked depth and as a viewer I felt nothing while I watched the drama...
I am neither disappointed with it nor liked it... Just a very average drama that didn't leave any impression on me...
I am not someone who has super high standards when it comes to kdramas.. as long as I feel enjoyment watching a drama I like that drama... I am even fine with lead characters with flaws or some negative traits because they seem more real... i am even fine with minimum romantic scenes as long as the scenes b/w the leads felt meaningful... I liked backstreet rookie and it didn't even had a proper kissing scene but the scenes b/w the leads even though it wasn't romantic made sense and I liked the chemistry and dynamo they shared... Here even though they had comparitively more romance it felt so blunt and boring and after sometimes their relationhsip felt like nothing...
Nothing in the drama was interesting enough to get invested in the drama...
I just watched it simply because I didn't had any other ongoing dramas and just for the sake of finishing it... Since it's only 2 episodes a week it wasn't hard... I even skipped one episode and fastforwad a lot of episodes and I didn't feel like I missed out something...

She is one of the most critically acclaimed young actress in Korea.. it's not her fault if the makers sidelined her character...

I just hope they stay seperate till the end and just have a cordial relationship with mutual respect... They were already like that even when they were dating...
I get why JH broke up with him... She just started her career and her own mother judged her and said her entire career is because of HJ... All her achievements will never be hers if she continues the relationship... She will always be constantly judged and pressurized... Also after the article if they get caught together again then it will only make matters worse...

Also for the sake of happy ending they decide to patch them up I hope it happens after he comes back from the army and by that time JH has made a name for herself and is confident enough to be in a relationship with him...

As it is a slice of life drama it's slow which was fine to me but then it also becomes plain and blunt... After a certain number of episodes, even if you skip a couple of episodes you won't feel like you skipped 2-3 episodes because literally nothing happens...
Almost all the characters looses their relevance by the second half including the female lead...
None of the bad characters have any reason to be bad.. they are simply just bad people who hate the male lead for no valid reasons even though the male lead is the most non-problematic person on earth...

The final rating will be out when the last episode airs today... I am pretty sure it won't have more than 8... The max is 8...

so true.. she was bad just for the sake of being bad.. it would have been better she just dont like how suddenly HJ became big and was jealous of his success just like how the senior of JH didnt like her without any reason...

i only talked about the FL because i see a lot of comments saying she should have ended up with the second lead guy...

i liked how both ML and FL understood each other more and what they were going through all those years... the drama had some amazing emotional and heart felt moment...
this one is one of the perfect rom-coms in kdramas...

how can a journalist be that hateful towards a person just because someone told her something which could be interpreted in many ways? isn't it the duty of a journalist to see both sides of the coin and then make an assumption? the ex-ceo was clever enough to manipulate her without leaving a trace... also except for saying HJ left him he didnt encourage her to go after HJ like a crazy bull... she did that herself... the ex-ceo is famous for how he handled his previous company and she still believed whatever he said blindly... now that she got a clear picture she is going after the ex-ceo and doha... she is to be entirely blamed for whatever actions she did.. the ex-ceo didnt put a gun on her head and made her write those articles against HJ... cant belive she is gonna get away just like that... she should have at least lost her job...

HJ is shown to be the new it boy of the country and neither him nor his manager thought of hiring a PR agency? i am pretty sure they can afford one...

contrary to what was shown in the last episode thankfully JH didnt break-up with HJ because of the journalist... i cannot believe her mother can be so shameless and cheap... how can she say her daughter is a gold-digger just like her and she is proud of it? JH needs to cut all ties with her mother for her own good.. that woman is too toxic to be around...

from JH's perspective, it is better to break-up with HJ... she just started her career and she is getting attention for all the wrong reasons and the relationship is affecting her negatively... also after the article, if they get caught together then it will only damage HJ's image a lot more... i didn't felt anything when they broke up because their relationship didnt look that intense or deep to me... just felt like two random people who used to date just broke up due to their respective life and career...

the character that i loved the most will be HJ's brother... he is a smart guy even though his social skills are questionable... whats more funny is he knows how to handle a situation and consequences of action better than HJ's manager even though he don't even have anything to do with the entertainment industry... i think he will do a better job at being HJ's manager...

for the last couple of episodes, HH seems to be roaming around without any purpose... neither his career track nor his feelings for JH seem to be relevant for the plot anymore...
he is just there for the sake of it...

almost all supernatural kdramas have a bittersweet ending and this one seems darker than goblin and hotel del luna... so more bitter than sweet...
