i think i understand korean more than turkish but some turkish words are used in hindi as well.. may be those words are lended from arabic.. urdu, arabic and hindi have a lot of common words...

you main a big deal out of random scenes like the ice-cream scene and foxes eating normal food... that simply shows who has a biased view...

the genre is supernatural so that gives the writers and directors way more creative freedom than other genre dramas.. they can show foxes becoming humans, eating whatever they want, flying in the air.. the genre gives them that kind of creative freedom... vampires have different characteristics and powers in different dramas.. except for the blood suking part they literally nothing have in common... its the same for gumihos... if the writers want them to eat grass then they can eat grass...
lee yeon dont like sharing his choco mint icecream with anyone and the fact that he happily shares it with ji ah shows how much she means to him...

the guy kissed her out of no where and she was taken a back.. she aint gonna make out with him the moment his lips meet hers.. she closed her eyes by the end and the entire scene will continue in the next episode...

chemistry is very subjective and if majority of the audience feel there is chemistry then there is chemistry... until ep 5 th leads didnt had any real personal conversation and they were not hanging out to know each other... they looked really good in the umberlla scene and they even have chemistry in their ivs...

lee dong wook is anything but stonic (esp in his current projects)... so far he has been doing a good job.. he is extremely believable as a supernatural creature...
the female lead has been roaming around in simple t-shirts and jeans since ep 1 and this is the first episode she dressed up. there is nothing special about her makeup either.. so i dont get why you feel she is concentrating more on her looks... her acting is nothing amazing but its certainly isnt bad esp compared to some famous actresses who ruin a drama with their acting... she is decent enough to do justice to the character...

if he dont mind her taking his ice-cream and enjoying it why should anyone else care? its his favorite ice-cream and he is more than fine to share it with her...


zombies are humans that turned into zombies.. lee yeon has never been a human.. he is a diety... why would he behave like a human? the show's genre is fantasy and it can be as unrealistic as they want...

goblin, vampires, foxes and literally any supernatural creature that got adjusted to the human world are shown to be eating what human's eat... tale of the nine tailed didnt invent that..

almost more than half of kdramas have below average acting and compared to that the cast of this drama is nowhere near bad even though it isnt the best acted drama..

i dont think she is aware that she looks like his first love...

i am not much familiar with a lot of turkish actors.. the ones i can recognize are the guys from gunesin kizlari, ask laftan alnamaz, feriha.. the only names that come to my mind immediately will be burak deniz and berk atan.. their names are easy to remember.... i guess i know more names of actresses than actors even though i mostly watch turkish dramas to drool over guys... lol
i dont really find turkish names that complicated since some of the words are similar to urdu and urdu language is like a romanticized version of hindi.. i wont understand turkey but i am familiar with words like afili, ishq, ask, intekam etc...

i am pretty sure lee rang is not gonna have a happy ending... even if he redeem himself he did too many bad things by now and according to kdramas even if bad people turns good they rarely gets a happy ending...

i liked his look.. it was different from typical kdrama male leads...

after 2 action-packed intense episodes, ep 5 was more light-hearted and easy going... it was still fast-paced though.. i didnt feel like it was dragging...
i loved the umbrella scene and ldw's smile during that scene looked so good... ldw is looking way too amazing in this drama.. from his wardrobe to his hairstyle i am liking everything...

lee yeon and shin joo are a funny duo... shin joo makes lee yeon look like a pampered spoiled rich kid...
yoo ri already started softening to shin joo.. i hope both of them stay alive till the end...

i felt bad for lee rang in the flashback scenes and understands his hate for humans but his reason to hate lee yeon is too vague... i guess its the first time lee rang showed some empathy towards anyone... he didnt beat up humans just for fun or for selfish reasons for the first time..

kdramas rarely talk about molestation of children so i was surprised this show indicated about it.. i first thought those 2 kids died because of negligence by their uncle...

that imoogi kid is creepy...

i know its the 2nd part.. i watched that more than an year ago so dont remember much of it but isnt it based on true history? it had too much politics and power struggle for me to keep up with esp since i am not much aware of turkish history....

4-5pm in the US is 1-2am the next day in india.. this is why i hate waiting for the sub... netflix need to pick up all the interesting kdramas..

i checked out that site and it dont have hayat bazen tatlıdır but i might watch dolunay.. have you seen it? i just liked the poster of that show...

i have seen the initial episodes of the magnificent century starring beret saat but when it became too complicated i stopped watching..
i have seen initial episodes of a lot of turkish dramas that are dubbed into urdu but dont really remember the names( esp the Turkish names, in the dubbed version the name is also in urdu)

i was able to finish guneshin kizlari because it had multiple leads and the story didnt focus on just one couple. so it didnt feel draggy... savaz and nazli were my favorite.. i tried watching some of berk atan and burcu ozberk's other works.. didnt finished any of it... there is a dubbed version of burcu's afili ask but its not complete so i am not gonna start watching it... my first ever turkish drama was the urdu dubbed version of ask laftan alnamaz.. even though i left it half way through hande ercel was the reason why i started watching gunesin kizlari but liked burcu more in it... i liked the chemistry of the leads from ask laftan alnamaz...

till two-three years ago in india there was a channel called zindagi which used to air hindi dubbed Turkish dramas but got shut down due to low ratings.. that was the first time i heard of turkish dramas.. feriha and fatmagul were quit famous in india. hazal kaya even came to india for a film festival... fatmagul and ishq e mamnu had official hindi remakes but ended abruptly due to low ratings.. i watched ishq-e-mamnu because of its hindi remake...

since love 101 is netlfix original and also isnt too long i really liked it... waiting for s2...

i watched the first 3 episodes of hayat bazen tatlıdır but youtube only had 3 episodes with eng sub and couldnt find dubbed or subbed version of that drama anywhere...

till now they didnt had any moment but offscreen they look really good together.. they both seems to be comfortable with each other... most of the times kdrama actors come off really awkward offscreen..

with LY and LR she knew before head what she is getting into.. she didnt see the creepy kids coming and that too so many of them... she clearly was taken aback... in the island episode also she didnt see the shaman drugging her even though she figured out that woman is a shaman.. she till now only have theoritical knowledge and is not really good at taking down supernatural beings singlehandedly...
she might be good at observing things and figuring out things but is incapable of going head to head with any supernatural beings...

turkish dramas have some really good looking actors and i like the over all scenery of turkey... it looks very beautiful whether it is the city or the country side.. i also like the wardrobe.. but most dramas are very long and kind of gets repetitive midway... even though i have seen 6-7 turkish dramas i have only finished watching two dramas.. guneshin kizlari and netflix's love 101...
a lot of turkish dramas are dubbed into urdu by pakistani channels and uploaded on youtube but the problem is they cut every episode into 20 mins and only one or two episodes per week.. so it takes almost an year if i follow those dramas.. unlike asian dramas, turkish dramas without dubbing is not easily accessible either..
do you know any free sites where i can watch turkish dramas?

watch 2-3 episodes per day and dont try to binge watch it as this one is superr slow.. we can understand the kind of conflicts and confrontations some characters will have in the future from ep 1 itself and thos conflits come only from ep 12-13..
i would have dropped this drama by ep 5-6 if i binge watched it...

its so slow paced that we dont even miss anything if we skip 2-3 episodes in b/w... except for HJ's father and brother being more appreciative towards him none of the characters have changed much.. they all are the same.. we just got a deeper insight on each character and thats it...
