after 2 action-packed intense episodes, ep 5 was more light-hearted and easy going... it was still fast-paced though.. i didnt feel like it was dragging... i loved the umbrella scene and ldw's smile during that scene looked so good... ldw is looking way too amazing in this drama.. from his wardrobe to his hairstyle i am liking everything...
lee yeon and shin joo are a funny duo... shin joo makes lee yeon look like a pampered spoiled rich kid... yoo ri already started softening to shin joo.. i hope both of them stay alive till the end...
i felt bad for lee rang in the flashback scenes and understands his hate for humans but his reason to hate lee yeon is too vague... i guess its the first time lee rang showed some empathy towards anyone... he didnt beat up humans just for fun or for selfish reasons for the first time..
kdramas rarely talk about molestation of children so i was surprised this show indicated about it.. i first thought those 2 kids died because of negligence by their uncle...
I also love his acting range and he is perfect for this role can't imagine anyone else playing it. Literally same…
i know its the 2nd part.. i watched that more than an year ago so dont remember much of it but isnt it based on true history? it had too much politics and power struggle for me to keep up with esp since i am not much aware of turkish history....
I also love his acting range and he is perfect for this role can't imagine anyone else playing it. Literally same…
i have seen the initial episodes of the magnificent century starring beret saat but when it became too complicated i stopped watching.. i have seen initial episodes of a lot of turkish dramas that are dubbed into urdu but dont really remember the names( esp the Turkish names, in the dubbed version the name is also in urdu)
I also love his acting range and he is perfect for this role can't imagine anyone else playing it. Literally same…
i will check that site out.. i was able to finish guneshin kizlari because it had multiple leads and the story didnt focus on just one couple. so it didnt feel draggy... savaz and nazli were my favorite.. i tried watching some of berk atan and burcu ozberk's other works.. didnt finished any of it... there is a dubbed version of burcu's afili ask but its not complete so i am not gonna start watching it... my first ever turkish drama was the urdu dubbed version of ask laftan alnamaz.. even though i left it half way through hande ercel was the reason why i started watching gunesin kizlari but liked burcu more in it... i liked the chemistry of the leads from ask laftan alnamaz...
till two-three years ago in india there was a channel called zindagi which used to air hindi dubbed Turkish dramas but got shut down due to low ratings.. that was the first time i heard of turkish dramas.. feriha and fatmagul were quit famous in india. hazal kaya even came to india for a film festival... fatmagul and ishq e mamnu had official hindi remakes but ended abruptly due to low ratings.. i watched ishq-e-mamnu because of its hindi remake...
since love 101 is netlfix original and also isnt too long i really liked it... waiting for s2...
i watched the first 3 episodes of hayat bazen tatlıdır but youtube only had 3 episodes with eng sub and couldnt find dubbed or subbed version of that drama anywhere...
wow I relly do maybe all the photoshooting and BTS makes me seen beyond.....
till now they didnt had any moment but offscreen they look really good together.. they both seems to be comfortable with each other... most of the times kdrama actors come off really awkward offscreen..
though gotta say, she's been studying ghosts and supernatural creatures for so long and doesn't know that you…
with LY and LR she knew before head what she is getting into.. she didnt see the creepy kids coming and that too so many of them... she clearly was taken aback... in the island episode also she didnt see the shaman drugging her even though she figured out that woman is a shaman.. she till now only have theoritical knowledge and is not really good at taking down supernatural beings singlehandedly... she might be good at observing things and figuring out things but is incapable of going head to head with any supernatural beings...
I also love his acting range and he is perfect for this role can't imagine anyone else playing it. Literally same…
turkish dramas have some really good looking actors and i like the over all scenery of turkey... it looks very beautiful whether it is the city or the country side.. i also like the wardrobe.. but most dramas are very long and kind of gets repetitive midway... even though i have seen 6-7 turkish dramas i have only finished watching two dramas.. guneshin kizlari and netflix's love 101... a lot of turkish dramas are dubbed into urdu by pakistani channels and uploaded on youtube but the problem is they cut every episode into 20 mins and only one or two episodes per week.. so it takes almost an year if i follow those dramas.. unlike asian dramas, turkish dramas without dubbing is not easily accessible either.. do you know any free sites where i can watch turkish dramas?
Was planning to start watching this but the comments are scaring me..I like both leads and just loved the PD's…
watch 2-3 episodes per day and dont try to binge watch it as this one is superr slow.. we can understand the kind of conflicts and confrontations some characters will have in the future from ep 1 itself and thos conflits come only from ep 12-13.. i would have dropped this drama by ep 5-6 if i binge watched it...
I skipped 11 and watched 12 ep ending i also feel that i didn't miss anything....
its so slow paced that we dont even miss anything if we skip 2-3 episodes in b/w... except for HJ's father and brother being more appreciative towards him none of the characters have changed much.. they all are the same.. we just got a deeper insight on each character and thats it...
blackpink, exo are idol groups whether as HJ is an actor... actors dont even get half the backlash idols get and…
korean actors dont tend to have the kind of obsessed saesangs like idols.. even if they do those saesangs are not powerful enough for brands and movie offers to take a hit... saesangs are totally irrelevant for actors...
oppa in korea dont exactly have the same meaning as other regions.. it dont really have the brotherly affection…
blood related brother as well as older guys who you are close to are called oppa only.. it just dont have the brotherly feel when non-blood related guys are called oppa.. oppa becomes just a term to respectfully call an older guy in an informal way when used on non-relatives...
Hye Joon is one of these way too nice characters that become annoying with time, that whole Charlie Jung thing…
so true.. why does he need a manager when he dont take any of her advices? she is literally in the drama to get stressed out... the text message at maximum will have charlie jung congratulating HJ for the win and apologizing for his behavior.. that wont tamper the image of charlie as its pretty clear everyone knew he was gay..
Guys, this drama isn't about romance, this drama is about what an actor/idol has to face in SK...The reporter…
blackpink, exo are idol groups whether as HJ is an actor... actors dont even get half the backlash idols get and they dont have any problem dating as long as they are not dating any controversial figure... if female actresses like suzy(who was also an idol) and song hye kyo are still counted as top actresses after multiple dating news with fellow actors, an actor dating a non-celeb is a piece of cake.. also non-celeb partners and their information are never leaked by media houses and they dont release dating news without consulting the actors... jenkai are one of the most appreciated idol couples.. they got way more support than hate and it was actually surprising... even chen getting married had lot more supporters than haters.. the so called hyped up protest by anti-fans/sasaeng only had 20 peoples... for every hate those obsessed fans threw at chen there were 100 supports to give it back... also exo members themselves showed the haters that they support chen and he is not going anywhere.. idols themselves taking dig at obsessed fans might be first in kpop.. exo made it pretty clear that they dont care about those obsessed fans... i guess OBSESSION was made with this keeping in mind... the song ends with saying 'get lost'.. lol actors like lee byung hun had 3 times bigger scandal and controversies but he still one of the biggest korean actor.. park bo gum himself has some controversy but it did literally nothing to his popularity, endorsement deals or movie/drama offers...
the drama is over exaggerating the whole matter just for too much drama and it comes off as extremely unrealistic for a slice of life drama..
It's 2020, but can reporters and media slander celebrities without fans to defend? What a stupid plot! The story…
esp when only a single reporter is after this one celeb who literally is the nicest human being to exist... there were fans to defend the other guy who was rude openly to another fan but there is no one on HJ's side... also actors dating non-celebs is not as big of a deal as its shown in this one.. infact media houses dont leak pics of non-celeb partners unlike shown in this one...
It not just the MDL community though, have you seen the domestic ratings for this drama? I think the majority…
i didnt know park bo gum was this much loved in korea until i saw the ratings.. iotnbo didnt had this much ratings even though it was way more interesting than this one... but apart from the rating its not that hyped up.. i guess even though its name is record of youth, its liked more by the older generation which explains the rating but no buzz online... i am not familiar with the rest of the cast except park so dam.. even though she is appreciated as a good actress i dont think she has big fan following to attract dramas solely based on her name...
ahn min hyuk is shown to be someone who does what he wants to without caring about what others think so it was…
its not an office based drama for the characters to act all professional.. you seem to completely ignorance the genre of this drama.. tell me a scene were do bong soo was rude or misbehaved with anyone other than her project head in this drama? even with him she kept her cool as much as possible.. she did everything he asked her to do and talked to him in formal manner till his bullying got out of hand... she under no circumstances have to bare all those bullying... she tried to keep her relationship status with the male lead under wrap inside the office as much as possible but it is him that showed off their relationship... ahn min hyuk is the one who started being informal with her from the start and he is the one that gave her all the privileges and he is the one who asked her to be informal with him.. why is she being blamed for it? they made a deal that she will get a job if she helps him with the blackmailing... she helped him get the blackmailer and she got the job.. even then she didnt directly got appointed in some high level position.. she was first a trainee and then she got into the department.. the company didnt bare any kind of lose because of her.. infact the game she invented was a hit and then she quit her job to help people when she couldn't manage both... even in search:www which revolves around working women and is based on a professional settings had some scenes which can be considered to be unprofessional.. whatever happened in swbds is not even a big deal...
everything that happens in a drama is to move the plot forward.. the blackmailing of the male lead was just a plot device for the leads to be together.. it just gave a reason for the male lead to keep her close to him.. he was fully capable of finding the blackmailer by himself and he is also good at fighting and is fearless.. he just acted he wants a bodyguard just to appoint do bong soon as his bodyguard..

that imoogi kid is creepy...
